Tina M. Lytle
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Tina Marie Lytle, 21, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Born Dec. 29, 1975, in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of Ronnie and Paula Bush Lytle of Martinsburg.
She is survived by one son, Kristopher Davis at home; one sister, Tammy Hose of Martinsburg; and one nephew.
Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. C.D. Coley will officiate. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 2015 Boyd Orchard Court, Martinsburg, W.Va. 25401.
Evelyn H. Bowie
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Evelyn H. Bowie, 80, of 180-B Menno-Village, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, at Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 21, 1917, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Maude Ludwig Heefner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Leroy Bowie in 1973.
She retired from the federal government in 1978. She became the court crier for Judge William Kaye until her retirement.
She was a member of the Second Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she served on the church council, the altar guild and was a member of the Annie Liebold Sunday School Class.
She was active in the Chambersburg Bridge Club for many years and was a member of AARP.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Wishard of Chambersburg and Barbara Bowie of New Cumberland, Pa.; two sons, "Nip" Bowie of Manassas, Va., and "Tuck" Bowie of Virginia Beach, Va.; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 10, at 11 a.m. at Norland Cemetery. The Rev. Ruth E. Smith will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Ellsworth E. Keefer
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Ellsworth E. Keefer, 70, of 12652 Pittman Road, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at his home.
Born March 13, 1927, near Mercersburg, he was the son of the late Ellis and Pearl Carbaugh Keefer.
He was employed by Letterkenny Army Depot for 37 years. He also worked at Knouse Foods, Biglerville, Pa.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II.
He was a member of Mt. Tabor Brethren in Christ Church, Mercersburg. He was a choir member for many years.
He was a board member of the American Red Cross. He enjoyed playing music, song writing, painting, wood working and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Dallie Blacksten Keefer, whom he married May 6, 1989; five daughters, Gloria Adams of Shippensburg, Pa., Shirley Smeltzer of Hanover, Pa., Mary Sherrod of Waycross, Ga., Annabelle Rhodes of Fuguay-Varnia, N.C., and Debra Bookwalter of Mercersburg; two sons, Soloman Keefer of Mercersburg and Hank Keefer of Fort Littleton, Pa.; three stepdaughters, Helen Livingston of Hanover, Lucille Horst of Chambersburg, Pa., and Mary Souder of Harrisburg, Pa.; five stepsons, James Arter Sr. of Orrtanna, Pa., Norman Arter Sr. of Cashtown, Pa., James Wible of New Jersey, John Wible Sr. of Shade Gap, Pa., and Joseph Wible of Chambersburg; two sisters, Margaret Morris of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Lillian Barkich of New York; two brothers, Edward Keefer of New York and Woodrow Keefer of McConnellsburg; 15 grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 16 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Brethren in Christ Church. The Rev. Roy E. Brake Sr. will officiate. Burial, with military graveside services conducted by Detrich-Brechbill American Legion Post 612, St. Thomas, Pa., will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mercersburg.
Viewing will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave., Mercersburg and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Julian L. Oliver Sr.
Julian L. Oliver Sr., 94, of Preston Road, Hagerstown, died Thursday, April 24, 1997 at Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born in Danville, Va., he was the son of the late Nicolas B. and M. Catherine Cruse Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Garrow Oliver, in 1983.
Before retiring, he established and managed the Oliver Realty Co., the South End Shopping Center and the West End Pharmacy. He also served as judge of the Orphans' Court in Washington County and was Director of Personnel for the City of Hagerstown.
He was a member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church.
He became a life member in the Supreme Forest of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon in 1948. He was an honorary member of the Cambridge Lodge 66 A.F.&A.M. He was a past Grand Tall Cedar of Hagerstown Forest 95.
He is survived by one daughter, June O. Baylor of Richmond Hill, Ga.; three sons, Julian L. Oliver Jr. of Falling Waters, W.Va., Kent N. Oliver of Hagerstown and James G. Oliver of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ann Oliver Carmichael; four sisters; and one brother.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Richard W. Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert W. Dahle
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Robert William Dahle, 66, of Berkeley Springs, died Thursday, April 24, 1997, at his home under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born Oct. 19, 1930, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert Simpson and Margaret Agnes Harmes Dahle.
He was employed as a machinist by the Baltimore News-American, Baltimore, until his retirement after 29 years of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Gunner's Mate Third Class. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Ribbon.
He was a member of Faith in God Chapel, Berkeley Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Mary Carrier Dahle; one daughter, Theresa Lynn Sturgill of Berkeley Springs; two sons, Franklin Thomas Linkenhoker of Roanoke, Va., and James Matthew Linkenhoker of Travis Air Force Base, Calif.; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by one son, Robert William Dahle Jr. on Nov. 15, 1982.
Services and burial will be private.

Enoch Evitts
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Enoch Evitts, 75, of 585 Clayhill Road, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at his home.
Born Feb. 19, 1922, in Spring Run, Pa., he was the son of the late Isaac and Myrtle Evitts.
He was employed by Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, Pa., until his retirement in 1987. He also had worked on several local farms.
He attended King Street United Brethren Church, Chambersburg.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Edna L. Carbaugh Evitts; one daughter, Judy Gelwicks of Chambersburg; two granddaughters, Emily Gelwicks and Lucy Gelwicks, both of Chambersburg; one sister; and one brother.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Pa. The Rev. John F. Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Frances Fox
FREDERICK, Md. - Frances Fox, 78, of Frederick, died Friday, April 25, 1997, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born April 27, 1918, in Dickerson, Md., she was the daughter of the late Lash and Molly Irene Buzzard Redmond.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor Waters of Laytonsville, Md., and Peggy Weiger of Breezewood, Pa.; two sons, James Edward Fox of Germantown, Md., and Donald Eugene Fox of Kemptown, Md.; two sisters, Margaret Burdette of Damascus, Md., and Edith Thompson of Mt. Airy, Md.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie McBride and Virgie Nichols; and one brother, Arthur Redmond.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Muriel Barber Funeral Home, Laytonsville. The Rev. Debbie Scott will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Methodist Cemetery, Laytonsville.
There will be no visitation.

Ernesto Casanova Jr.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ernesto Casanova Jr., 17, of 95 Sollenberger Road, died Wednesday, April 23, 1997, in Chambersburg.
Born July 28, 1979, in Patterson, N.J., he was the son of Ernesto Casanova Sr. of Patterson and Sonia Granados of Chambersburg.
He was a former student of Waynesboro Area Senior High School, Waynesboro, Pa., and the Franklin County Area Vocational Technical School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Eliseo Casanova of Chambersburg; maternal grandmother, Alix Arauz of Patterson; paternal grandmother, Rosa Flores of Puerto Rico; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Fair Lawn cemetery, Fair Lawn, N.J. The Rev. Wilfredo Gonzales will officiate.
There will be no viewing. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
