Linda E. Angle
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Linda E. Angle, 48, of 3521 Social Island Circle, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 1996, at her home.
Born July 13, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Shetler of Chambersburg.
She was employed as a care giver for Family Care Services in Chambersburg.
She was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God Church in Chambersburg.
She was a member of Deatrich Brechbill Post 612 American Legion in St. Thomas, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jack R. Angle; two daughters, Cheryl Spoonhour of Greencastle, Pa., and Melissa Angle, at home; two sons, Troy M. Long of Chambersburg and Kevin W. Long, at home; two sisters, Darlene McKelvey of Chambersburg and Susan Linstead of Saudi Arabia; one half-sister, Vonnie Guyer of Greencastle; two brothers, David A. Shetler of Roxbury, Pa., and James W. Shetler of Chambersburg; maternal grandmother, Bertha Weber of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry A. Long.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Inc., 6492 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas.
The Rev. Howard Beaver will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral home will be open today from 2 to 9 p.m.
Gladys V. Stinebaugh
Gladys V. "Peg" Stinebaugh, 88, of 62 E. Franklin St., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, at Colton Villa Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 7, 1908, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond G. and May F. Kline.
Her husband, Charles L. Stinebaugh, died in 1967.
She was employed with Porter Chemical Co. for 37 1/2 years.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
She also was a member of AARP.
She is survived by one daughter, Dolores J. Stinebaugh of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Kline.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Hazel M. Smith
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Hazel Marshall Smith, 78, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, at City Hospital in Martinsburg.
Born Jan. 22, 1918, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Miller Butts.
Her first husband, Frank B. Marshall, and her second husband, Clarence R. Smith, preceded her in death.
She retired from Shawnee Springs Nursing Home in Winchester, Va., and was previously employed by C.H. Musselman Co.
She was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church at Four Mile Woods.
She is survived by two daughters, Hazel Marie Jenkins of Martinsburg, and Sadie M. Blanchfield of Stephenson, Va.; one son, Harold L. Butts of Azel, Texas; three sisters, Georgie Miller of Martinsburg, Lucille Brown of Charles Town, W.Va., and Geraldine Haines of Winchester; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Snyder, Dorothy James and Edith McDaniel; and two brothers, Arlie Butts and Harry Mason.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. The Rev. Raymond E. Jones and the Rev. Oscar Motilal will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville, Va.
The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Virginia E. Knicely
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Virginia Elizabeth Ash Boyd Knicely, 85, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 1996, in Kernersville, N.C.
Born Feb. 27, 1911, in Mountain Fall, Va., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Boyd Ash.
She was raised by an aunt, the late Nellie S. Boyd.
Her husband, Lewis H. Knicely, died in 1977.
She attended local schools.
She retired from Perfection Garment Co.
She was a 50-year member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith Knicely Powell, with whom she resided; one granddaughter, Gale L. Huyett of Kernersville; one grandson, Russell W. Powell with the American Embassy in Great Britain; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Householder; and two brothers, Floyd Ash and David Ash.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg.
The Rev. Al Clipp will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Jack L. Burker
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jack Leon Burker, 42, of 7703 Jasper St., died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996, at Del Ray Community Hospital in Del Ray, Fla., as the result of a truck accident in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Born Aug. 1, 1954, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Charles L. Burker of Elizabethton, Tenn., and the late Helen J. Stoner.
He was the stepson of the late Lester K. "Chub" Stoner.
He was a 1972 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
He was employed with GPC Inc. Trucking in Jacksonville.
He served in the U.S. Army for eight years.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two daughters, Buffy Bradley and Jacqueline Burker, both of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Mickey L. Taylor of Hagerstown; two brothers, Dennis L. Burker and Phillip L. Burker, both of Hagerstown; and his fiance, Vicki Dawson of Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry L. Burker.
Private services were held in Jacksonville.

Donald L. Fink
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Donald Leon Fink, 71, of Charles Town, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, at his home.
Born April 28, 1925, in Charles Town, he was the son of the late William L. and Lena Elizabeth Stoneburner Fink.
He was a 1946 graduate of Charles Town High School.
He retired from Ranson Post Office in Ranson, W.Va., in 1981, after 34 years of service.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Army.
He received the Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon and World War II Victory Ribbon.
He was a member of Charles Town Baptist Church, where he had been a deacon.
He also was a member of National Association of Retired Postal Employees, and enjoyed barbershop singing for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eleanore T. Thompson Fink; and three sisters, Louise V. Brand of Martinsburg, W.Va., Mae Bernardelli of Hagerstown, and Marjorie Fortman of Frederick, Md.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Charles Town Baptist Church. Wyman Hall will officiate.
Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
Friends will be received at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town, today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Dave L. Martz Sr.
MICCO, Fla. - Dave L. Martz Sr., 71, of 5303 Bannock St., died Saturday, Dec. 7, 1996, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 12, 1925, in Keedysville.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor P. Martz; one daughter, Maria Martz of Hagerstown; two sons, David Martz Jr. of Maryland, and Dana Martz of Rohrersville; one brother, James Mertz of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
There will be no service.
Arrangements are by Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay, Fla.
Eileen S. Chitambar
Eileen S. Chitambar, 90, of 32 S. Colonial Drive, Hagerstown, who died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1996, lived and taught school in several schools in New Delhi, India, for 47 years.
She also was involved in handicrafts and social work.
She returned to New Orleans and taught school at the age of 71.
