Elwood Elias Cook
MYERSVILLE, Md. - Elwood Elias Cook, of Myersville, died April 28, 1997.
He was raised in Texas.
He received a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University.
He taught in the public school system.
He was an active member of St. Mary's Church, performing volunteer work with the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church.

Richard H. Johnson
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Richard H. Johnson, 65, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at his home.
Born April 30, 1932, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Harry S. and Myrtle Bernhard Johnson.
He retired as a lineman from Penline of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Western Union.
He is survived by two sisters, Marguerite Boyd of Wheaton, Md., and Dianne Hofe of Jacksonville, N.C.; two brothers, Elwood S. Johnson of Berkeley Springs and Dayton R. Johnson of Arlington, Va.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Dunkle; and two brothers, Calvin Johnson and Paul Johnson.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home. The Rev. Hennis Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
Viewing will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Montanna Andrew
BALTIMORE - Montanna Andrew died Thursday, May 15, 1997, at University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore.
Born May 15, 1997, she was the daughter of Blaine and Raquel Young Andrew of Clipper Trail, Carroll Valley, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Kirstyn Andrew and Koryne Andrew, both at home; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Patricia Young Jr. of Keedysville; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Donna Andrew of Emmitsburg, Md.; maternal great-grandparents, Lloyd and Barbara Anderson of Georgia, and Raymond and Jaunita Young of Keedysville; paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Iris Andrew of Emmitsburg; and a paternal great-great-grandmother, Fannie Hayes of Smithsburg.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Eby will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blaine and Raquel Andrew, P.O. Box 1024, Emmitsburg, Md. 21727.

Grace E. Faughander
Grace Elizabeth Faughander, 68, of 143 Buttercup Drive, Hagerstown, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 17, 1928, in Washington County, she was the daughter of Florence Smith Creek of Williamsport and the late Clyde A. Creek.
She was a 1949 graduate of Washington County Hospital School of Nursing.
She was employed by Washington County Hospital. She also was employed as a home nurse.
She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church.
She also was a member of the Washington County Nursing Alumni Association.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Warren I. Faughander; one daughter, Laurie Boger of Hagerstown; three sons, Warren H. Faughander of Martinsburg, W.Va., Kent I. Faughander of Middletown, Md., and Kevin C. Faughander of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one sister, Sallie Morrison of Hagerstown; two brothers, Clyde J. Creek and Mitchell B. Creek, both of Hagerstown; several grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Darryl McClain will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Eugene A. Ahalt
Eugene A. Ahalt, 83, of Hagerstown, who died Monday, May 12, 1997, was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie L. Rudy Ahalt in January 1997. They were married on May 30, 1940.
He is survived by two sisters, Marie A. Dahlhamer of Hagerstown and Carmel Wirts of Reisterstown, Md.; and nieces.
At his request, services and burial will be private at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Allan L. Robertson
WESTMINSTER, Md. - Allan L. Robertson, 84, of Westminster, died Friday, May 16, 1997.
Born May 30, 1912, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Leslie C. and Pansy McGee Robertson.
He owned and operated Hilltop Press, Westminster. He had also worked for Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown.
He was a member of Sandymount United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Rippeon Robertson; two brothers, Kenneth L. Robertson and G. Edwin Robertson, both of Westminster; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Myers Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. The Rev. E. James Stutler will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
James P. Weller Jr.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - James P. "Jim" Weller Jr., 54, of 4525 Pine Lane, died Friday, May 16, 1997, in Greencastle, Pa.
Born Sept. 23, 1942, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Velenora Hawbaker Weller of Chambersburg, and the late James P. Weller Sr.
He retired as a custodian from the Chambersburg school district, retiring after 23 years of service.
He was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Audrey H. Mumma Weller; two sons, Jeffery A. Weller and Terry L. Weller, both of Chambersburg; one sister, Judy Summerall; three brothers, Jeryl Weller, John Weller and Joseph Weller, all of Chambersburg; a number of nieces and nephews; three great nieces; and one great nephew.
Services will be held Wednesday at Christian Life Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Howard L. Beaver will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

William D. Reesman
William David Reesman, 74, of Coffman Nursing Home, Hagerstown, and formerly of 342 Liberty St., Hagerstown, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at the nursing home.
Born Feb. 5, 1923, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Howard and Gertrude Griffith Reesman.
He was a self-employed furniture maker.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II.
He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two nieces, Beverly Blair of Clear Spring and Frances Monninger of Hagerstown; and one nephew, Charles Bowers of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Thelma Bowers, Geraldine Reesman and Margaret Hartman; and two brothers, Howard E. Reesman Jr. and Forrest Griffith.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Fairfield Union Cemetery, Fairfield, Pa. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
