John M. Nicodemus
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - John M. "Mack" Nicodemus, 68, of 10 Pen Mar St., died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, at Waynesboro Hospital.
Born Dec. 10, 1927, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late John O. and Dorothy McKown Nicodemus.
He was a 1945 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
He attended Penn State University and received his associate degree in accounting from the University of Baltimore.
He was employed in data processing by Landis Machine Co., Waynesboro.
He retired in January, 1993, after 43 years of service.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Waynesboro.
He also was a member of Waynesboro Lions Club, where he served on numerous committees; Waynesboro YMCA; BPO Elks Lodge 731; Eagles Club Inc.; South Chapter 2977 AARP, all of Waynesboro, and the National AARP.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine S. Stull Nicodemus, whom he married Aug. 26, 1950; one daughter, Nancy Nicodemus McCullough of Potomac, Md.; one son, John Frederick Nicodemus of Accokeek, Md.; one brother, David O. Nicodemus of Philadelphia; two grandsons and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
Pastor Jay E. Zimmerman will officiate.
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Members of the Waynesboro Lions Club will meet at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today.

Roger L. Williams
Roger L. Williams, 61, of 7 East Washington Street, Hagerstown, died Friday, Nov. 15, 1996, at his home.
He was born Feb. 4, 1935 in Georgia.
Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
The Rev. Leroy Jackson will officiate.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Howard G. M. Dull
Howard Gould Monk Dull, 68, of Hagerstown and formerly of Harrisonburg, Va., died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, at his home.
Born July 15, 1928, in Staunton, Va., he was the son of Cora Virginia Stoneburner Dull of Staunton and the late Frank A. Dull Sr.
He married his first wife, Betty Belle Trobaugh, on Jan. 31, 1952.
She preceded him in death on March 15, 1989.
He was a graduate of Beverly Manor High School, Staunton, and of Bridgewater College.
He was vice-president of Tri-State Electrical Supply Co. until his retirement.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hagerstown.
He was a former member of Hagerstown Assembly Club; a past member of Golden-Fisher Tent/Circus Saints and Sinners; and past president of Harrisonburg Jaycees.
He was a member of Harrisonburg Elks Lodge 450, Fountain Head Country Club and Emmett Kelly Tent C.F.A. in Hagerstown.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kathleen Mae Dull; three daughters, Deborah Dull Walker of Houston, Texas, Jeri Ann Dull Adams of Fayetteville, N.C., and Toni Dull Snyder of Harrisonburg; two step-daughters, Charisse Henderson of India-Atlantic, Fla., and Karen Lengyel of Tampa, Fla.; one step-son, Scott Henderson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; one brother, Frank A. Dull Jr. of Staunton; seven grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 17 N. Court Square, Harrisonburg.
The Rev. John F. Sloop and the Rev. Rachel Hamburger will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.

George E. Swope
FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - George E. Swope, 55, of 2180 Hafer Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, at his home.
Born Nov. 6, 1941, in Greencastle, Pa., he was the son of Paul G. and Alice Goetz Swope of Marion, Pa.
He was employed as an electrician/maintenance worker by Pet Inc., Chambersburg, Pa., for 18 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He attended Assembly of God Church, St. Thomas, Pa.
He was a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association and served as the group's area representative for a number of years.
He enjoyed photography and computers.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Connie B. Perry Swope, whom he married June 8, 1963; two sons, Stephen P. Swope of Fayetteville and Anthony J. Swope of Burbank, Calif.; four brothers, Robert Swope of Arlington, Texas, Thomas Swope of Marion, Theodore Swope of Greencastle and Garry Swope of Chambersburg; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg.
The Rev. Arthur Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ruth Harris Pittman, 96, of Manor Care Health Services, and formerly of North First Street, McConnellsburg, Pa., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, at Manor Care Health Services.
Born June 30, 1900, in Ayr Township, Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Himmel and Ella Lynch Harris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pittman, on June 13, 1956.
She was employed as a teller by Gerard Trust Co., Philadelphia, and also taught school.
She was a member of United Church of Christ, McConnellsburg.
She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star Mount Olive #232, Philadelphia; a past member of Womens Club; Fulton County Medical Center Auxiliary; and treasurer of Home Extension.
She is survived by one step daughter, Ann Peterson of Green Mountain, N.C.; and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Harris and Edgar Harris.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Union Cemetery.
The Rev. Barron Barley will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Lyle H. Moler Sr.
KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Lyle Henry Moler Sr., 67, of Kearneysville, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born Dec. 24, 1928, in Bakerton, W.Va., he was the son of the late John G. and Madge E. Grove Moler.
He was a graduate of Harpers Ferry High School, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
He was employed by Biedlers Electric Motor Repair, Martinsburg, W.Va.
He earlier retired from Southern States Co., Charles Town, W.Va., after 31 years of service.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean War.
He was a member of Bakerton United Methodist Church.
He attended Bethesda United Methodist Church, Moler Cross Roads, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Anna Louise Carter Moler; one son, Lyle Henry Moler Jr. of Inwood, W.Va.; four sisters, Lola Grimm of Charles Town, Jeanette Hoffmaster of Rockville, Md., Hazel Rinaldi of Lake Worth, Fla., and Freda Trail of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; and four brothers, Nathan Moler of Frederick, Md., Daniel Moler of Harpers Ferry, Edward Moler of Charles Town and Thomas Moler of Kearneysville.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Moler.
Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church, Molers Cross Roads.
