Mary E.S.L. Hedrick
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mary E. Shriver LeMaster Hedrick, 84, of Martinsburg, died Friday, May 30, 1997, at Integrated Health Services of West Virginia Nursing Home in Charles Town, W.Va.
Born Nov. 19, 1912, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James R. and Rosa P. Barnhart Shriver.
She was twice married and preceded in death by her first husband, Wilson LeMaster and by her second husband, John M. Hedrick.
She was a Hedgesville High School graduate.
She previously owned and operated a grocery store.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one son, H. Siebert LeMaster of Martinsburg; three stepchildren; one grandson, James A. LeMaster of Mechanicsville, Va.; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Shriver, Willard Shriver and James Shriver; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
The Rev. Al Clipp will officiate.
Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
Lee W. Palmer Sr.
INWOOD, W.Va. - Lee W. Palmer Sr., 78, of Inwood, died Thursday, May 29, 1997, at Washington Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
Born Dec. 16, 1918, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Mervel C. and Laura Belle Kearns Palmer.
He was twice married and was preceded in death by both wives, Mildred M. Horner Palmer and Bertha Hite Palmer.
He retired from Martin Marietta after 42 years of service.
He was a member of Central Chapel, Ganotown, W.Va.
He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn A. Palmer and Mary J. Graham, both of Inwood, and Dorothy J. Kane of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; three sons, David L. Palmer and Earl R. Palmer, both of Inwood, and Lee W. Palmer Jr., of Vanville, W.Va.; three sisters, Frances Kursey of Tomahawk, W.Va., Pauline Smith of Shanghai, W.Va., and Anna Belle McKinney of Martinsburg, W.Va.; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Vallie McKinney and Charm Kees.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.
The Rev. Frank S. Douty will officiate.
Burial will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary L. Andrews
Mary Lee Andrews, 69, formerly of 213 Jefferson St., Hagerstown, died Friday, May 30, 1997, at Coffman Nursing Home.
Born June 7, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Trebe and Eliza Jane Osborne Ernde.
She was employed by Eakles Drug Store.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one brother, Perry Ernde of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
