David P. Dube

David P. Dube, 49, of Gray, died Wednesday, March 31, after a long illness.
Mr. Dube was born in Portland, a son of John F. and Alice I. Thomes Dube, Jr.
He was educated in the South Portland schools and graduated from South Portland High School in 1972. He attended the University of Oklahoma, which suited him well because he was a cowboy at heart.
He married Charlotte Cole who died in 1990.
He is survived by two sons, Lonnie, and his wife, Pam, Humphrey, of New Gloucester, and Nate, and his wife, Beth Humphrey, of Gray; grandchildren Brittany, Danielle and Cody; three brothers;,Buzzy (Gerald), Charlie and Timothy; and sisters Arvilla Lachance and Eleanor Wiston.
A memorial visitation period was held last Sunday, at Wilson Funeral Home, 24 Shaker Road, Gray. A Remembrance Ceremony took place immediately following the visitation.
Memorial donations maybe made to Gray Fire & Rescue, 125 Shaker Road, Gray, Maine Vocational Technical Institute, in Auburn.
Art is probably best remembered as the trustworthy and jocular mechanic at Gilmore's Auto Service in New Gloucester. He had worked with his father, who opened the business in 1952, and then operated the garage himself for 20 years. Art's customers couldn't leave the garage without sharing a good joke, story and hearty laugh with him.
He was a fifteen-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4131 of New Gloucester. He was also active in the New Gloucester community as a volunteer firefighter.
Art was predeceased by his father, Arthur, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Gloria, of New Gloucester; one son, James, of Poland, one daughter, Lori, of Southampton, MA; a sister, Carol Howard, of Raymond; a niece, Sandra Howard, of Mt. Maine.
Throughout his life, Roger was a devoted fan of the Iowa; his daughter, Sandra J. Scribner Merlim, of Westbrook; and two daughters from a previous marriage, Stephanie Camire, of Exeter, NH, and Nancy Brunet, of South Hampton, NH. Beverly Taylor

Beverly Marie Taylor, 73, of Mayall Road, died Easter Morning, April 11, at Mercy Hospital after suffering a stroke.
She was born in the Little Falls area of Gorham at the home of her parents, Frank and Aurilla Saunders Morton. She was a graduate of Gorham High School. After her marriage toWilliam A. Taylor in 1949, she moved to Windham, where she spent most of her life.
Mrs. Taylor worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for several years, and at Northeast Bank. She retired in the early 1970s.
She was active in her church, town politics and the Republican Party. She and her husband were members of the North Windham United church of Christ Church prior to their move to Gray, where they became members of the First Congregational Church UCC.
Bev was always there for those in need, helping wherever she could. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and, most of all, time spent with family and her dog, Sam. Her biggest joy was her grandchildren. She was an extraordinary person who touched many lives. She will forever be in the hearts of her husband of 55 years, Bill; her three children, Kathleen Farrell, and her husband, Fred, of Gray; Kenneth Taylor and his wife, Susan, of New Gloucester, and her youngest daughter, Joan Hodgdon, of Gray; as well as her grandchildren, Stacey and Bill Taylor, Matthew and Kathy Hodgdon and Fred Farrell.
She leaves behind her sisters, Ethel Quatrucci, ofWindham, Winnifred Robichaud, of Westbrook, and Beth Dusty, of Windsor Locks, CT; brothers, Dr. Keith Morton, of Raymond, and Donald Morton, of Windham, of Windham; and many loved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Thursday at Smith Cemetery, in Windham, with Rev. Douglas Hedstrom officiating.
