ALLAN "BILL" W. FULLER, JR.
LOWELL - Allan W. Fuller Jr. was called home unexpectedly by our, Lord, Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004 at a Bangor hospital. He was born Mar. 31, 1954, in Lincoln. Allan was the son of Rhoda (Porter) Fuller Dolley and the late Allan W. Fuller. He attended Penobscot Valley High School in Howland. Prior to graduation he enlisted in the US Army, and served in Germany for several years. Allan had a gift for masonry and took pride in constructing fieldstone fireplaces and walls. He loved country life and loved fishing.
Besides his mother, he survived by his sister, Cherry Valcourt and her husband, Jacques of Howland; three half brothers, Paul H. Dolley of Wilmington, NC.
Friends and relatives who wish, are invited to a fellowship and celebration at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with Pastor Edward Costain officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor. In lieu of flowers donations may be left at the funeral home to benefit the MANNA or the American Diabetes Association.
MARGARET HALLETT
HowlandñMargaret Hallett,80, wife of the late Wallace J. Hallett, Sr., died Nov. 22, 2004, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Feb. 5, 1924, in Macadoo, PA the daughter of Frank and Margaret (McNally) Reale. Margaret raised many children and thoroughly enjoyed people. The welcome mat was always out at her home and she never turned anyone away. She enjoyed playing Bingo at Cummings Health Care, and just loved the people there. She also enjoyed writing poetry, having had some of her poems published, and she was very creative and made lots of crafts. She was very good at written communication, and loved to tell jokes. Margaret attended St. Leo's Catholic Church, where she taught catechism, and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
She is survived by her sons and wives, Gerald Hallett of Howland, daughter-in-law, Barbara Hallett of Gorham, Wallace Hallett, Jr. and Jeanette of Bangor, Donald Hallett and Paulette of West Enfield, Michael Hallett and Judy of Howland, Stephen Hallett and Norma of Howland, Christopher Hallett and Toni of West Enfield, and Edward Hallett and Elaina of East Corinth; her daughters and their husbands, Jane and Nicholas Feltovich of Pittsburg, Pa., Nancy and Danny Gilley of West Enfield, Ellen Hallett of New Sharon and Katherine Hallett and her soul mate, Peter Robison, of Barter's Island; her grandchildren, Donna Pelky, Charmaine Hallett, Suzanne and Ryan, all of Gorham, Denise Davis and Jeff of Mass., Johana Birdsall and Bill of Hancock, Sandra Levesque and Jeremiah of Bangor, Jhon Hallett of Hancock, Michael Scott Hallett, Jr. and Rebecca of Howland, Jacob Hallett and Linda of Medford, Kathy Hallett of Howland, Katie Feltovich and Alex Feltovich of Pittsburg, Pa., Hannah Smith and Al of West Enfield, Benjamin Gilley of Hampden, Rebecca Gilley , Grace Gilley and Joseph Gilley of West Enfield, Erica Hallett of Howland, Stephen Hallett, Jr. of Maryland, Emily Hallett of Portland, Mark Batchelder and Rachel Batchelder of New Sharon, Adam Hallett, Wallace Hallett, III and Jordan Hallett all of West Enfield, Joshua Hallett and Natasha Hallett of East Corinth; great grandchildren, Todd and Mallory of Gorham, Emily Birdsall of Hancock, Ashlyn Smith and Cameron Smith of West Enfield; one sister, Anna O'Donnell of Hazleton, Penn.; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by a son.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Cummings Health Care for taking such good care of their mother and grandmother.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday , Nov. 24 & 25, 2004 at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Leo Catholic Church in Howland with the Rev. Andre Houle officiating. Interment will be in West Enfield Cemetery.
KATHLEEN F. IRELAND
ORONO-Kathleen F. Ireland, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior, November 27, 2004 at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Lee, August 18, 1919, the daughter of Edgar and Ina (Rich) Coffin. Kathleen was a woman of God and until her confinement attended the Church of the Good Shepherd in Old Town. Kathleen was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed writing letters of encouragement to people, was always cheerful and never complained.
She is survived by eight children. Marilyn Hamilton of Holly Hill, Fl, Bruce Ireland of Prospect Harbor, Gary Ireland of Cromwell, CT, Brian Ireland of Old Town, Peter Ireland of Hampden, Mary Hickey of Bennington, Florida and Arthur Martin of Conn.; two sisters, Joanne Dumont of Howland and Mildred Daigle of Conn., seven grandchildren, Justin, Melynda Marissa, Jeffrey, Gregory, Matthew and Jason; one great-grandchild, Evan; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at the West Enfield Cemetery with the Rev. André Houle officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 65 South Main St., Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
ROBERT K. MULLIGAN, SR.
HOWLAND- Robert K. Mulligan Sr., passed away November 30, 2004 in Togus after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 11,1945 in Kingman and was the son of the late Herman and Daisy (Lancaster) Mulligan. He attended Lee Academy and then joined the Army where he served for 11 years, including 4 tours of duty in Viet Nam. He worked at Diamond International in Passadumkeag for over 20 years. He was the Chief Shop Steward there for UPIU and then for PACE Local 80. He was a member of the Pulp and Paper Resource Council. He was also a selectman and Little League coach in Howland. He later served as Commander for the Avon D. Flanders VFW Post in Lincoln in 2001 and 2002.
He is survived by former wife and lifelong friend Donelle Mulligan of Howland, a son Robert K. Mulligan Jr. and partner Kristine Cochran of Howland, a daughter Renee Gilman and husband Aaron of Edinburg, four grandchildren, Kenneth and Elaina Goslin, Kacie Mulligan and Madison Gilman. He is predeceased by a sister Darlene St. Peter, and survived by sister, Verdene "Skip" Florida; five grandchildren, Dillan, Hollie, Reilly, Lora, and Kali. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Chelly.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Hyland officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery.
CAROLE "SPACEY" SANDERS
LINCOLN - Carole "Spacey" Sanders, 62, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at a Bangor hospital, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Bath, Nov 25, 1941, a daughter of Marion (Stephens) and Robert Sanders. She attended schools in Bath and Woolwich. In 1978, she moved to Lincoln to make her home. She enjoyed reading, gardening, camping, hunting and all the wonderful friends she made through the years. Her constant 15 year companion was her beloved cat, Sassy.
Her survivors include three children, Pamela Robinson and Leonard "Chuck" Stilphen, both of Lincoln and Lisa McInnis of Brunswick; a sister, Roberta Stilphen of Standish; a brother, John Sanders of California; four sisters, Barbara Dickens of Fla., Sandra Crawford and Cheryl Olander, both of Conn., and Nancy Sibley of Burlington; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, with the Rev. Keith Shorey officiating. Committal services, with full military honors, will be held at the Lincoln Cemetery, in the spring.
Robert H. "Bob" Smith
Lincoln- Robert H. "Bob" Smith, 66, husband of Pearl (Paradis) Smith, died February 19, 2005, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Bangor, December 2, 1938 the son of Harrison and Agnes (Kilbride) Smith. Bob will be remembered as a great storyteller.
In addition to his wife, Pearl, of Lincoln, he is survived by two daughters, Janeen Lapierre and Barbara Heavin both of Saco; a son, Peter Smith of Gardiner; five grandchildren, Danielle, Stephen, Harrison, James and Abigail.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2005 at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. OLIVE M. SPINNEY
DANFORTH - Olive M. Spinney, 81, wife of the late Clarence Spinney, died Nov. 30, 2004 at a Boston hospital. She was born March 29, 1923, in Livermore Falls the daughter of Albert and Madeline (Harding) Willett. Olive enjoyed woodworking, fishing and making wreaths at Christmas time.
She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Shorey and her husband Mike of Houlton and Judy Helms of Bossier, LA; three grandchildren, Katrina Lincecum of Shreveport, LA, Timothy Shorey of Danforth and Rev. Christopher Helms of Pittsburgh, PA; five great grandchildren, Kristi Malloy of Shreveport, LA, Kaytlyn Helms, Emily Helms and Nathaniel Helms all of Pittsburgh, PA, and Noah Grant of Houlton. And a special adopted daughter, Marilyn Stoddard. She leaves behind three special friends, Amy Irish, Heather Haney and Casey Malone, all of Houlton. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Howard and Charles Howard. She leaves behind many special friends.

ROLAND F. WHITTIER
LINCOLN - Roland F. Whittier, 80, husband of Mary Leah (Whalen) Whittier, passed away Dec. 7, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Yarmouth, April 1, 1924, the son of Wesley and Inez (Smith) Whittier.
He was a Veteran of both the U S Army and the U S Air Force. He retired as an aircraft mechanic with the 112th Medical Unit of the Army National Guard. In addition to his wife, Mary Leah, he is survived by three children, Cleve and Katie Robinson of Palmer, Alaska, Gayle & Dwight Shedd of Brunswick, and Wesley Whittier of Humble, Minnesota, and Erin Shedd of Providence College; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Jason Reed. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Edwina Prest and Maybelle Worcester.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Myles Cyr officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
ANITA (CROPLEY) BARNES
DANFORTH - Anita (Cropley) Barnes, 64, died Jan. 25, 2006, at her home. She was born Sept. 20, 1941, in Danforth, the daughter of Wesley "Ben"and Geneva (Spinney) Cropley. Anita attended the Danforth Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed playing cribbage, going to Beano, and crocheting. She was employed at the Danforth Rehabilitation Center for many years.
She is survived by four children, Bruce and Lynnette Barnes of Bangor, Rhonda Barnes and Mitch Frye of Danforth, Terry Barnes of Danforth, and Reginald "Butch" and Dawne Barnes of Bangor; her former husband, Reginald Barnes, Sr., of Danforth; seven grandchildren, Ben, Micah, Josh, Tawnie, Mikayla, Deven and Shannon; brothers and sisters, Glenna Crone, Veronica Crone, Violet Frye, Franklin Cropley, James Cropley, Barbara Cropley and Sheila Estabrook; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her pets, Rocky and Buddy. She was predeceased by three brothers and a sister, Tommy Young, Merle "Fred" Cropley, Glenn Cropley and Marie Krautler.

MARKIE D. CRAM
MEDWAY - Markie D. Cram, 94, husband of the late Justine E. Cram, died Jan. 19, 2006 at a Millinocket healthcare facility. He was born, May 17, 1911, in Mattawamkeag, the son of Dave and Florence (Thompson) Cram. Markie worked for many years at the Great Northern Paper Company. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid Red Sox fan.
He is survived by a son, Everett "Skip" Cram and his wife, Shirley of Medway, three grandchildren, Danny & Carrie Cram, David and Nikki Cram, and Cathy and Jim Shaw; four great-grandchildren, Chelse and Shane Cram, and Justin and Eric Shaw; five sisters, Nettie Craig, Leona Snowman, Annie Seavey June Thompson, and Katherine Cram; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Justine, he was predeceased by four brothers and a sister, Ross, Carl, Arnold, Lettie and Fred.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings, Church of God, Medway. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. WAYNE A. CURRY
HOWLAND - Wayne A. Curry, 54, beloved father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord, Jan 3, 2006, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. He was born Nov 9, 1951, in Wareham, Mass., the son of Richard C. And Eva H. (Paradise) Curry. Wayne was a Veteran of the U S Marine Corps. He was a veteran firefighter, most recently affiliated with the Howland Fire Department.
He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Curry Nice and her husband, Matthew Daley of Lincoln, and Tammi Burgess and her husband, Walter of Mattawamkeag; two granddaughters, Ashley Jennings of Lincoln and Heather Braley of Mattawamkeag; three siblings, Robert Curry, Sandra Curry Keller, and Jeffery Curry, all of Maine, with her loved ones at her side. She was born May 31, 1922 in Poland and immigrated to the United States with her husband after WWII. In 1957, she became a citizen of the United States. She enjoyed many things in life including gardening, sewing, and bird watching. Nothing brought her more joy than the presence of her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Tadeusz, Mrs. Dabrowski is survived by son Stanley and his wife, Cathy and son Joseph, all of Wilmington, Delaware, daughter Wanda Proudlove and her husband Tad, of Enfield, Maine.
JACK R. DOANE
AUGUSTA-Jack R. Doane, 69, died Feb. 15, 2005 at the Togus VA Medical Center following a long illness. He had been continually hospitalized at Togus since Aug. 1987. Jack was born March 17, 1936, in Kingman, the eldest son of son of Earl Clifford and Janette Ruth (Brittain) Doane. His father died a tragic, unexpected death on Nov. 29, 1961. His mother died at the age of 75 following a long illness. Jack attended Lee Academy. He enlisted in the United States Army on Aug. 20, 1954, serving until Aug. 8, 1957, and again from Aug. 31, 1961 to April 12, 1962. He was stationed in Alaska, Fort Bliss, Maine woods. He was an avid reader of American history, country and western ballads and the Bible. He loved gospel and country music. He was an active member of the VA Medical Center Chapel and when well enough served as a deacon. Jack will be sadly missed by all who knew him and especially by his family, friends and staff at the Togus VA Medical Center.
There will be a funeral in the spring. Spring intermenty will be in the family lot at the Kingman Cemetery. Arrangements are with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
