LORRAINE A. (CROCKER) LANCASTER
GREENBUSH - Lorraine A. (Crocker) Lancaster, 76, wife of the late Harry Lancaster, died Jan. 26, 2006, at a Bangor hospital, after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Winn, the daughter of Arden and Lillian (Jarvis) Crocker. Lorraine was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, cooking and puttering around the house. She was a member of GWRRA Chapter F, Motorcycle Club.
She is survived by two children, Judith Lancaster and Wayne Lancaster, Sr. and his wife, Leanna, all of Green bush; six grandchildren, Erika, Ashley, Tara, Wayne, Jr., Alexandra and Victoria; a sister, Marie Albert of Winn; a brother, James Crocker of Exeter; a sister-in-law, Winnifred Brooks of South Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves beloved life-long friends, James and Shirley Harper of TX 75001. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
LINWOOD J. LANCASTER
LINCOLN - Linwood J. Lancaster, 77, husband of the late Evangeline (Smith) Lancaster, died Jan. 15, 2006 at a Lincoln hospital. He was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Kingman, the son of Linwood E. And Ethel (Thibodeau) Lancaster. Linwood was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.. He was a lifetime member of Avon D. Flanders VFW Post #1438, Lincoln Ctr. and a member of the Lincoln Veterans Honor Guard.
He is survived by a son, Timothy Lancaster of Bucksport; a daughter, Tamara Perry of Orneville ; a sister, Althea Nason of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Jeremy Perry and Ashley and Sarah Lancaster. In addition to his wife, Evangeline, he was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Lancaster.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be held in the spring at the Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the funeral home. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
RICHARD CLIFFORD LEE
Danforth - Richard Clifford Lee, 65, died February 2, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born November 11, 1940, in Orient, the son of Elswood and Florence (Irish) Lee. Richard loved NASCAR races, the Springfield Fair, fireworks, going to town each day and his four cats, Mittens, JR, Peewee and Patches.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Lee of Danforth; several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Carl Elwood Lee.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Rd., Danforth. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Root officiating. Spring intermenty will be in Danforth Cemetery.
RUTH E. McKAY
KINGMAN - Ruth E. McKay, 89, died Jan. 30, 2006, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born July 14, 1916, in Bangor, the daughter of James Herbert and Myrtle (Joy) Linscott. Ruth loved to knit. She made socks, hats and mittens, and enjoyed crocheting afghans and quilting.
She loved animals and birds. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Gilbert and Robbie of Kingman, and Phillip L. and Mary of Ft. Pierce Fla. and Lincoln; eight grandchildren, G. Rogan of Kingman, Sue Apgar of Danforth, Cathy Davis of Lincoln, Lynn Steilow of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Debra Page of Lee, Pamela McKay, Phillip R. McKay and Daniel McKay, all of Macwahoc; nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at the graveside in the New Macwahoc Cemetery, Saturday, May 27, 2006, at 11 a.m., with Rep. Henry Joy officiating. MURIEL E. MORRISON
MILO - Muriel E. Morrison, 78, wife of the late Robert Morrison, died Dec. 30, 2005, at a Waterville hospital. Mamie, as she was affectionately known, was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Carroll, the daughter of Lewis and Dora (Hanscom) Hebb. She and Bob lived a big part of their lives in Florida; an aunt, Lucy Hanscom of Lincoln; a brother-in-law, Perl Morrison and his wife, Josephine, of Milo; sisters-in-law, Ruth Dunton of Massachusetts; many special nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Myles Cyr officiating. Following the services, there will be a gathering at Pleasant Park Community Center, Milo. Spring intermenty will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mamie’s family would like to thank the entire staff at Inland Hospital in Waterville for the excellent care she received. DORIS McINTYRE NORRIS
VEAZIE- Doris McIntyre Norris, 97, wife of Walter J. Norris, died Jan. 10, 2006. at a Bangor nursing facility, She was born Jan. 19, 1908 in Medway the daughter of William W. and Annette (Prescott) Dickey. Doris graduated from the Eastern Academy of Beauty Culture and worked as a beautician in Bangor and Lincoln.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Shirley Lyons of Bangor and a son Edward McIntyre and his wife Florence of Charlottesville, Virgina, four grandchildren, Michael Whitney, James Whitney, Elaine Hamilton and Pamela Dill. She was predeceased by her first husband Angus J. McIntyre, June 1st 1959. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Joan Whitney, a sister, Kathleen Moro, two brothers Thaxter Dickey and George Dickey, a grandson, Timothy Whitney, and a granddaughter Roxanne Drinkwater.
A spring committal service will be held at the Mattawamkeag Cemetery. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
ARLENE W. PARKER
Danforth - Arlene W. Parker, 99, wife of the late Charles Aubrey Parker, died January 23, 2006 in Lake Worth, Washington State Normal School, Machias in 1927. She taught school for 35 years in several towns, including, Selden, Eaton, Topsfield, Princeton, Danforth, Fairfield and Portland. Arlene was also a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three children, Charles Frederick Parker and his wife Mary of West Bowdoin and Carole Florida; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, Charles, she was predeceased by three grandchildren, Charles Stengel, Susan New York, the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Sillsbury) Lyons. Margie enjoyed being with her family and she loved them very much.
In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by a daughter, Millie New Jersey; a grandson, Brian Florida; three sisters, Dorothy Osbun of Mattawamkeag, Barbara Worster of Kingman, and Sue Doty of New Hampshire and daughter, Holly and husband Jeff Jandreau of Medway; beloved grandchildren include Mark and Jesse Hanington, Daniel Jandreau, Alyssa Ramsey, Lyndsey and Dayna Jandreau, and Cassandra Keene. Dell is also survived by twin sister Pheobe and Earl Waters of Houston, Massachusetts, sister Esther Turner of Houston, Texas, and sister Dena Susee of Presque Isle. He was predeceased by brother William Turner. Dell will be greatly missed by family and friends, including his special nephew Hugh Turner and very special friend Royce Sargeant whose help and love was greatly appreciated and whose friendship he couldn't have done without.
Visiting hours will begin at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 3 at Zion Pentecostal Church in Mattawamkeag, N.H. and Matthew and his wife Patsy of Minot; two great-grandchildren, Theodore V "Tucker" of Derry, Maine, passed away at Colonial Healthcare Nursing Home on January 12. 2009. She was born August 22, 1916 in Kingman, Florida and Lee, where she had an upholstery business for over 40 years. She was a member of the CMA Church of Lee, where she enjoyed many years of teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Roger Allen, Jr. of Augusta, GA, Laura Allen Wheeler and husband Doyle of Hampden and Zephyrhills, Fl., Albert Allen and wife, Patricia of Viera, FL., and Ronald Allen of Carrabassett Valley, ME. Ten Grandchildren and their spouses, Gregg and Heather Allen of Milford, Me., Jeffery Allen of Chester, Me., Robert and Nicole Allen of St. Stephens, NB., Albert Allen, Andrew Allen and Andrea Lee, all of N.Y. and Violet McAlpine of Mountain Home, ID and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Roger J. Allen, Sr. and one child at birth and all her brothers and sisters, Luther McAlpine, Ida Eastman, Ferne Kingsbury, Tressa Furrow and Ressa Mott.
Memorial Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A reception will take place immediately after the service at the funeral home.
DELORIS '"DOLLIE" ARNOLD
GLENBURN - Deloris "Dollie" Arnold, 75, passed away March 21, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Price . Dollie was fortunate to have had not one, but two wonderful husbands, Roy C. Moore Jr. and Paul A. Arnold. She grew up in Maine in 1939. Working for Forster Manufacturing Co., Inc., Mattawamkeag, she first worked in the mill and later when she received her GED, she became a secretary in the office. She worked for the U.S. Census Bureau for three years, retired from there, and later worked at the Pan Am Call Center, Mattawamkeag, retiring from there. After Paul's death, March 28, 2004, she moved to Presque Isle with her daughter, Mary Lou. Mary Lou and Dollie moved to Glenburn in 2004, to be closer to her beloved grandchildren, Shawna Moore Dill and Anthony Moore.
In addition to her daughter, Mary Lou Moore of Glenburn, she is survived by five grandchildren and their families, Shawna and Joe Dill, Anaraivyn Smith-Dill, Azrielle, Aidan, Riley and Leandra Dill; Anthony Moore and Carla Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Brock and Cole Smith-Moore; Jay and Penny Arnold, Ryan and Ashley Arnold, Darcy Arnold and Tina Barrios and Tasha Barrios; and Alison and Bob Butler; her "adopted" daughter, Gloria Jordan and Ron of Kenduskeag; two brothers, Charles Price and Dot Stull, all of Ohio; many nieces, nephews and great-nephews. In addition to her husbands and her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Raymond Moore; as well as several siblings.

BANCROFT - Charles B. Antworth, Jr., 87, passed away Sept 7, 2008, at a Houlton hospital. He was born June 15, 1921, in Stockholm, Maine Affiliate , 51 US Route 1, Suite M Scarborough, ME, 04074 or to St. Ann’s Church, Danforth, ME 04424.
