Survivors include his wife, Mabel; daughters, Ruth F. and Joyce I; son, Colin F.; brothers, Jack, Frederick and Conrad; sister, Jean Haranda. Mr. Johnson passed away early Sunday morning January 31, 1999 at Bay Medical Center. Age 86 years. Beuhl was born November 24, 1912 in Bay County and has resided in the area since. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post #18. Beuhl was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was active with the St. Vincent De Paul Society. He worked as a meat cutter at Hampton Meats until the store changed hands. Buehl is survived by his wife Mary F. (Gradowski) Johnson of Bay City; a son Adrian and Barbara Marr of Bay City; 2 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; and a sister Avon Meyer of Bay City. Beuhl was predeceased by his first wife Martha Johnson in 1956 and by a brother Gill Johnson. The Funeral Liturgy will take place Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Michael Dunckel will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Our beloved husband and father went to heaven peacefully early Sunday morning, January 31, 1999 with his loving family at his side of Heartland Health Care Center-Hampton. Age 86 years. The son of the late Andrew and Martha (Andrzejewski) Kochanny was born April 9, 1912 in Bay City where he has been a lifelong resident. He married the former Mary Dorothy Megger in St. Stanislaus Church on February 9, 1933, she survives him. Mr. Kochanny was employed at the Bay City Chevrolet Plant for 44 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church; St. Stan's Senior Citizens, Polish Circle, League of Catholic Women and Men and U.A.W. Local No. 362 Retirees. Surviving besides his wife, Mary Dorothy, he leaves a daughter and a son and a son-in- law, Maxine (Mickie) and Harry Voisin of Bay City, and Gerald L. Kochanny, Jr. PHD. of Sherwood, WI; seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Also two brothers and two sisters: Andrew Kochany and Mary Jo Kochany, both of Bay City, Robert (Virginia) Kochaney of Flint and Lou Kubica of Sarasota, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Bruce Kochanny and three brothers and two sisters: Harry Kochanny, Ed Kochaney, Eugene Kochaney, Dorothy Walz and Winifred Rzyske. Prayers will be said at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at the Ambrose Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Church, celebrated by Rev. Fr. William J. Wife of Leslie E. Neigh passed away Saturday afternoon, January 30, 1999 at Bay Medical Center in Bay City after a lingering illness, age 73 years. Merlene was born the daughter of the late Uriel M. and Helen (Curry) Ham December 29, 1925 in Kennett, MO. She then moved to Flint in 1927 and 1935 moved to Saginaw where she graduated from Arthur Hill High School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church (Ivy St.) and its Ladies Aide, and past secretary of the Ladies Guild. On May 10, 1946 she married Leslie E. Neigh and has since lived in the Saginaw and Bay area. She is also survived by 3 sons: Michael (Pam) Neigh of Bay City, Ronald (Jeri) Neigh of Saginaw, Jeffrey Neigh of Bay City; 2 grandchildren: Laurie Streich and Anthony Neigh; 3 great- grandchildren; 3 brothers: Uriel W. "Bud" Ham of Baltimore, MD., Douglas K. (Jeanette) Ham of Bridgeport, Ersel E. Ham of Midland; 1 sister, Joan (Bob) Carter of Auburn and many nieces and nephews. Merlene was also predeceased by a son, David, and 2 sisters-in-law, Florence and Juanita Ham. Mrs. Rasmus died suddenly Sunday morning, January 31, 1999 at her home. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Madaj) Pawlak was born January 20, 1911 in Bay City where she has been a lifelong resident. She was married to Joseph S. Rasmus, he predeceased her on October 18, 1977. Mrs. Rasmus was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Rosary Society, St. Stan's Senior Citizens, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, League of Catholic Women and Men and St. Stan's Mothers & Fathers Club. She is survived by three sisters- in-law: Irene Rasmus, Edwina Rasmus and Gladys-Rasmus (Carl) Princinski, all of Bay City. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and great-great- great nieces and nephews. Also special friends, Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Kulinski and Kim and Isabelle Gorney and many other friends. She was predeceased by three brothers and six sisters, Vincent, Frank, and Anthony Pawlak, Sadie Wisniewski, Mary Stachowicz, Stella Koviak, Clara Pawlak, Jean Kesman and Florence Suchodolski. Also a special nephew, Paul Suchodolski, other nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Alma A. Abrahms, age 94, of Winter Haven, Florida, died February 1, 1999 at Bishop Grey Inn. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on March 26, 1904. She came to Florida in 1995 from Ann Arbor. She belonged to the Wyandotte Garden Club and the Ann Arbor Antique Club. She was an Episcopalian and was a member of St. Alban's Church, Auburndale, Florida. Survivors include a brother, Herman Tews of Bay City; a daughter, Constance McNutt, Winter Haven, FL, son, William Stokes, VA, stepson, Gerald Abrahms, CA; also, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
