Veronica B. Brisbois, age 86 years, died Friday evening, May 7, 1999 in Bay Medical Care Facility. She was born to John and Mary (Filipiak) Laskowski on June 20, 1912 in Bay City. Veronica was a memeber of St. Hyacinth Church and the League of Catholic Women and Men. She was married to Ralph J. Brisbois Sr. and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1984. Surviving family members include her daughter, Nancy Anne (Steve) Snider of Bay City; her son, Ralph Jr. (Connie) Brisbois of Bay City; four grandchildren, Michele (Ken) Grezegorczyk, Stephen Paul Malleck and his fiancee' Kim Morse, Corey Ann and John William Brisbois, all of Bay City; three great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Noah Grzegorczyk, and Jared Brisbois. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and her sister. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, May 10, 1999 at 11:00 AM in St. Hyacinth Church. Veronia will lie in state in church Monday after 10:00 AM. Rev. Gerald F. Kukla will preside and intermenty will follow at St. Partrick Cemetery. The Vigil Wake Service will be Sunday at 7:30 PM in the Trahan Chapel. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. Mr. Caspers, age 79 years, passed away Friday, May 7, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw. He was born in Illinois on December 20, 1919 to the late Coord and Mary (Pfeiffer) Caspers. On September 21, 1946 he married the former Pearl Flues at Trinity Lutheran Church in Munger and she survives him. Mr Caspers was a life-long farmer and was a member of Trinity St. James Lutheran Church in Munger as well as the Michigan Farm Bureau. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 children: David Caspers of Bay City and Donna Caspers at home, 2 brothers; Clarence Caspers of Bay City and Albert (Evelyn) Caspers of Bay City, a sister-in-law, Betty Caspers of Essexville and a brother-in-law, Henry Flues of Bay City. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: John, Carl and Edward Caspers. Funeral and Committal services will be on Monday at 11:00 AM at Trinity St. James Lutheran Church in Munger. Rev. Theodore E. Marie D. Eichinger (Neitzke), age 85 years, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, step-sister, aunt, friend and neighbor passed away peacefully Friday evening, May 7, 1999 to be with her Lord. Marie was born April 20, 1914 in Porter Township, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank and Mollie Neitzke. She is survived by her husband, Arnold Eichinger; son, David (Carol) Eichinger of Kalamazoo; daughter, Martha (Glenn) Kohn of Highland; six grandchildren: Sarah (Kevin) Krieger of St. Petersburg, FL; Emily Kohn of Birmingham, Eric Eichinger of Long Island, NY, Aaron Kohn of Highland, Brenda Eichinger of Kalamazoo and Mary Kohn of Highland; sisters: Elsie Finn of Bush Lake, Eva (Lewis) Hydorn of Bay City, Gertrude (Norman) Hall of Tampa, FL, Eleanor Dinsmore of Bay City; brothers: Frank (Harriet) Neitzke and Elmer (Doris) Neitzke, both of Breckenridge; step-sister Ida Anderson and step-brother, Fred Roux. She is also survived by her loving sisters and brothers-in- law: Edward and Louise Eichinger, Herbert and Elizabeth Eichinger, George and Betty Eichinger and Bernard and Barbara Eichinger, all of Bay City; Dale and Esther (Eichinger) Smith of Canadian Lakes, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Marie "Todd" loved her family, friends and church, Immanuel Lutheran, where she was a dedicated member since 1940. In her blessed life, she worked as a helper on the family farm, housekeeper, beautician, associate at Ford's Clothing and homemaker. But she most loved her involvement at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Walther League, Friendship Guild, Ladies Aid and Choir as well as sharing her love with family and friends through special occasion cards, notes and personal visits. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Leslie D. Tyvela and Vicar Steven Maske will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Michael G. Kipfmiller, Jr., age 80 years, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather, was called home to rest in eternal peace with our Lord early Saturday morning, May 8, 1999 At Bay Medical Center. Michael was a member of St John's Ev. Lutheran Church and retired from General Motors. Michael served with the US Army during WWII and received the purple heart as well as two bronze stars. Michael is survived by his loving wife of nearly 53 years Marquerite (Ray) Kipfmiller; and four children, Kathy Kipfmiller of Bay City, Lonny and Debbie Kipfmiller of Standish, Randy Kipfmiller of Sterling and Terry and Charlene Kipfmiller of Omer. Michael also leaves seven grandchildren four great-grandchildren; family friends Lisa and Logan, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael is also survived by a brother, Elwin and Lena Kipfmiller of Midland. Funeral and Committal services will take place Tuesday May 11, 1999 at 11:00 am at St John's Ev. Lutheran Church. The daughter of Alpha (McLelland) and the late Sherman Westfall passed away Friday May 7, 1999 at her residence with her family at her side following a lingering illness. Age 48 years. She was born June 23, 1950 in Port Huron, Mi. Marcia was formerly employeed by the Bay City School System as a school bus driver. She is survived by her husband Gerald E. Korthals Jr., one daughter-and son-in-law, Holly and Brian Carson, one son and daughter-in-law Andi and Stephanie Kubacki all of Bay City, two granddchildren; Logan T. Mr. Krauss passed away at his residence, Wednesday, May 5, 1999. Age 84 years. He was born February 28, 1915 in Bay County, MI. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust and was a former employee of Monitor Sugar Co. He is survived by his sister-in- law, Ann Krauss of Bay City and his niece and nephew, Judy and Jim Buerkel of Bay City. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Clarence, Harold and Otto. Private funeral services took place with the family, Saturday, May 8, 1999 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust.
