An excellent wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 28, 1999 at Bay Medical Center in Bay City. Age 46 years. LouAnn was born August 3, 1952 to the late Joseph and Emma (Sampier) Tvardek in Bay City and has resided in this area all of her life. LouAnn was a consultant for Longaberger Baskets and an avid bowler. LouAnn enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her new grandson. She had been employed at the Holiday Inn in Midland for 29 years. On November 27, 1984 she married Patrick M. Moran, he survives her. Also surviving are four daughters: Jennifer (Craig) Jean of Midland, Stacey (Patrick) Kasperski of Franklin, WI, Shannon Moran and Stephanie Moran both of Detroit. One grandson, Tyler. One brother, Joel (Sue) Tvardek of Matlacha, FL; three sisters: JoAnn Pero of Kingsley, MI, Darlene (Fred) Jezewski of Auburn, and Pam (Geff) Arthur of Midland and several nieces and nephews and cousins. A nephew, Joey Tvardek, predeceased LouAnn. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 2, 1999 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fisherville. Msgr. Eugene Forbes will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home, 312 W. Mrs. VanPelt passed away Sunday afternoon, December 19, 1999 at the home of her son. Age 83 years. She was born September 4, 1916 in Lengsville, MI and had resided in Bay City most of her life. She was a member of the Salvation Army and was an active volunteer for over 40 years. She is survived by three sons: Albert (Claudette) VanPelt of Johnstown, PA, Gary (Donna) VanPelt of Linwood, MI and Dennis (Shari) VanPelt of Bay City; grandchildren: Reginald (David), Nathan VanPelt, Sherri (Paul) Siebert, Lisa (Brian) Roper, Lori, Rich, Jason (his mother, Joan), Terri, Kevin, Ryan (his mother, Deb), Deanna, Deni and Lynn VanPelt; her great-grandchildren: Holly, Abby, Kati, Chelsea, Shelbi, Brandon, Zachery and Keeli; her sister, Elsie Lauria and brother, Henry Dubay. She was predeceased by her husband, Merle, whom she married September 10, 1934 and he passed away in 1986, sons: Richard, Berry and Randy, brothers: Howard and Russell; sisters: Helen and Evelyn and daughter-in-law, Florence. Jane E. Donnelly, age 79 years, died Friday morning, December 31, 1999 at her residence. She was born to the late Clyde R. and Elma (Rademacher) Taber on December 6, 1920 in Bay City and had resided in Bay County all of her life. She was employed with SS Kresge Company for several years. Jane was very active in the Saginaw Diocese. She was a commissioned Lay Minister, having been involved with the Religious Education Program at St. Joseph Church for 25 years. While a member at Visitation Church, she was active in the RCIA Program, served as a Lector, a member of the funeral luncheon committee, and organized the Eucharistic Ministers who brought Holy Communion to the residents of Bay Shores Nursing Care Center. Most recently as a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, she volunteered as a coordinator for funeral masses and assisted Sr. Ann with the funeral hospitality committee. Jane was also a volunteer for Created for Caring. The former Jane Taber met her future husband, Joseph Donnelly at the U.S.O. Club in Bay City and on June 24, 1944, they were married in St. James Church in Boston, MA. He survives her along with their seven children: JoAnn Donnelly of Lakeworth, FL, Cynthia Donnelly of Madonna House, Canada, Michael Donnelly of Bay City, Mary (David) Haarer of Bowden, GA, Lucy (Gregg) Peters of Las Vegas, NV (formerly of Saginaw, MI), Rose (Tim) Yagiela of Essexville, and Maureen (Louis) Taylor of Essexville; four grandchildren: Amanda and Alisha Donnelly, Patrick and Kenneth Yagiela; two brothers: Robert (Gertrude) Taber, Phillip (Loretta) Taber; two sisters: Patricia Retlewski and Pauline Rivard, all of Bay City; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Taber; two sisters: Kathryn Knudstrop and Charlotte Bromm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at 11:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, Essexville. Jane will lie in state in church Tuesday after 10:00 AM. Rev. Dale A. Orlik will preside and intermenty will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. The Vigil Prayer Service will be Monday at 7:30 PM in the Trahan Chapel. Mrs. Heinlein went home on December 31, 1999 at the age of 86 years. She had been a patient at Bay Medical Center. She was born in Munger, MI on September 25, 1913, the daughter of Otto and Frances (Ulrich) Bublitz. She was married to Robert G. Heinlein on December 28, 1933 by Pastor Neuchterlein in the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran Church of Merritt Twp. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1988. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League and was an avid quilt maker for Lutheran World Relief. She was employed at Feather's Bakery for 15 years. She was an active community volunteer in many areas including being an American Red Cross Volunteer at Bay Medical Care Facility. She is survived by her son Robert (Faith) Heinlein of Vassar, her 2 daughters; Frances (Donald) Davis of Sebewaing and Linda Caspers of Bay City, a nephew Charles (Marilyn) Bublitz of Saginaw, 9 grandchildren; Sarah, Hannah, Laurie, Barbara, Timothy, John, Jennifer, Laura and Brian, 5 great-grandchildren; Alison, Danielle, Lilliana, Jackson and Zachary and 3 step grandchildren; Grace, Jovy and George. She also leaves a sister Olga (Leonard) Helmreich of Midland, 2 sisters-in-law; Eleanor Heinlein and Theresa Heinlein both of Bay City as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Alfred and Otto Bublitz. Funeral and Committal Service will be Monday at 11 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Mark A. Gerisch will officiate. Private burial will be at Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Zion Lutheran Church General Fund or Air Conditioning Fund. Bates on June 14, 1953 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1988. She was a member of St. James Church and the Women of the Moose No. 367. Survivors include 5 children: William H. (Deborah) Bates of Napoleon, OH, Patrick T. (Chris) Bates, Thomas D. (Lori) Bates, Brian J. (Barbara) Bates and James D. Bates, all of Bay City; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer Hunt, William Bates, Jr., Melissa Bates, Ryan Bates, Lauren Bates, Justin Bates, Shannon Bates, Brian Bates, Jr., Gregory Bates and Mark Bradley; 2 great- grandchildren: Taylor Hunt and Kaleb Bates; a sister, Mary Lou Nelson; 5 nieces and 1 nephew. Mr. King passed away Saturday, January 1, 2000 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital following a brief illness. Age 76 years. He was born March 25, 1923 in Bay City, MI. He retired from Bay City Milling Co. He is survived by his wife Margaret; one son and daughter- in-law: Randy & Denise King of Bay City; three grandchildren: Tricia Kukla of Bay City, Christina & John Rylance of Virginia Beach and Marcus King of Bay City; three great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Dillan and Logan; one brother and sister-in-law; William and Gilmar King of Pinconning; two sisters and two brothers-in- law; Irene and Daniel O'Leary of Essexville and Vernelda and Wayne Hartley of Kawkawlin and several nieces and nephews. Teresa, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2000 with her family at her side following a lingering illness. She was born in Pinconning on November 14, 1917 to the late Alex and Maryanna (Sobieray) Poniatowski. She married Nick Krawczyk on November 17, 1934 at St. Agnes Church, he survives her. Teresa was a member of St. Michael's Church, St. Anne's Society and St. Agnes Altar Society. Surviving besides her husband are their children: Nick Kristian (Francis) of Palm Springs, CA, Louis and Bernadette Krawczyk of Utica, Sister Suzanne Marie Krawczyk R.S.M., of San Francisco, CA, Christine and Pat Whyte of Woodstock, GA, Teresa and Bryan Wiess and Anne & Tim Sanak both of Pinconning; 14 grandchildren: Laura, Nick, Rachael, Eric, Jason, Adam, Melissa, Audrey (Patrick) Polaski, Aaron, Amanda, Matthew, Michael, Jeremy and Steven; 3 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Edwin and Erika; 2 brothers: Ben Poniatowski of Pinconning and Bernard Poniatowski of Ortonville; 4 sisters: Josephine Gault, Lottie Rydzewski, Louise Idzior and Rose Ulanowski, all of Pinconning. She was predeceased by a daughter, Bernardine Krawczyk, a son, Eugene Krawczyk, 2 brothers, Joe and Stanley Poniatowski, and 4 brothers-in-law, Leo, Joe, Jacob and Marcel Krawczyk.
