"The Lord is my Shepherd" and called Mrs. Leinberger home on Thursday, January 6, 2000 while staying with her daughter, Sharon Strom in Stephenson, MI. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late John and Bertha Buchhage was born July 15, 1916 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bay City and had attended St. Stephen's Lutheran Church while in Stephenson, MI. She was a volunteer at the Economy Center and had a great love for camping, fishing, gardening, bird watching and playing cards. She is survived by three daughters: Nancy (Ralph) Lynch of Bay City, Sharon (Warren) Strom of Stephenson, MI and Connie (Mike) Sommerfield of Bay City; two sons: Gerald (Mary) Leinberger of Bay City and John (Tina) Leinberger of Bay City; one daughter-in-law, Marion Kernstock of Pinconning, MI; 15 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren; one brother, John (Edwina) Buchhage of Bay City, MI; one sister, Clara (Fred) Kohn of Bay City; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Josephine Buchhage of Kawkawlin and Emily and Otto Rau of Freeland, MI. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Leinberger in 1979, a son, Louis Leinberger, two brothers, Emil and Edwin Buchhage. Funeral Services will take place Monday, January 10, 2000 at 12:30 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with intermenty in Fremont Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. and on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Mrs. Leinberger will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 11:30 A.M. until the time of services. MacGregor, Jean
Formerly of Bay City
Jean MacGregor, age 75, died on January 4, 2000 from complications of a recent stroke. Her death occurred in Annapolis, Maryland, where she had lived for the last four years. Mrs. MacGregor was born in Huron County, Michigan May 8, 1924 and married Alpine MacGregor June 7, 1942. She was a milliner in Bay City, Michigan where she owned and operated Jean's Millinery and Bridal Shop. While living in Bay City, she was a member of the Bay City Players Performance Group. In 1950, Mrs. MacGregor and her husband opened a General Department and Dime Store in Reese for four years. In 1954, the family moved to Vassar and started a retail business called MacGregor's Shoeland. In 1958, Mrs. MacGregor attended Saginaw Beauty College and after graduation started her own business - Jean's Styling Salon. In 1960, she was selected to be Mrs. Michigan State Fair. Her civic service included Secretary for the Vassar Chamber of Commerce. She was an accomplished pianist and an avid bowler. Survivors include three daughters: Judy Henneke of Edgewater, Maryland, Jackie Darling of Davenport, Florida and Janice Edward of Fort Huachuca, Arizona; one sister, Joan Sageman of Caseville, MI; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are one sister, June Vedder of Florida and Alpine MacGregor, her husband for 52 years, who died on January 9, 1994. Dale H. Burley, age 64 years, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Bay Medical Center. Funeral Services will be Monday afternoon, January 10, 2000 at 1 o'clock in Peoples Baptist Church. Rev. Richardson, James E. Jr. (Bud)

Mr. Richardson passed away following a five year battle with cancer, Friday, January 7, 2000 at Bay Medical Center. The son of the late James E. and Anna (McComb) Richardson Sr. was born April 4, 1920 in Bay City, MI. He retired from Dow Chemical Co, Midland Division. He was a member of the Steelworkers Local 12075, SOAR Local 12075, Moose Lodge #169, V.F.W. Post 6950 and the American Legion Post #165, Wenona Lodge #256 F. & A.M. and served with the U.S. Army during WW II. He is survived by his wife, the former Henrietta Conachan whom he married on December 31, 1941. Also surviving are two daughters: Nancy (Bill) Weisheim of Bay City, MI and Susan (James) Berry of Vanderbilt, MI; one son, James (Laurie) Richardson III of Sterling, MI; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; on sister, Ruth (Nick) Howell of Midland, MI and a special friend, Jean Adams of Auburn, MI. Mr. Stokoe died Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Ocean Trail Convalescent Center, North Carolina. Age 78 years. He was born May 8, 1921 in Bay City, MI to the late Joseph and Mary (McInguis) Stokoe. He was retired from Brown & Root Construction Company. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Oak Island Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and passed member of St. Mary's Church, Bay City. He played two years of semi-pro football and received his high school letter from the legendary Knute Rockne. Surviving family members are, two daughters: Jacqueline Kosecki, Kawkawlin, MI and Mary Fulcher, Southport, NC; a sister, Agnes Stokoe, Detroit, MI; a brother, Ed Stokoe, Bay City, MI; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2000 from St. Mary's Church, Bay City. Rev. Fr. James Heller will officiate with inurnment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Mrs. Zaborski, age 53 years, died January 7, 2000 at her home. She was born in Bay City on October 12, 1946. She was Patient Representative at Bay Medical Center. She is survived by her husband John M. Zaborski, whom she married on January 16, 1991. She also leaves 2 children: Anson (Sonia) Herrington and Nancy (John) Bykowski, both of Indianapolis, IN; 2 sisters: Beverly (Jack) Walker and Carol (Don) Francke, both of Essexville; and a brother John (Sharon) Schmidt of Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Alta Murphy. A Memorial service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Penzien & Steele Funeral Home. The Rev. Duane M. Harris will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of Bay Area, the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Bay County or American Cancer Society. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Saint Mary's hospital. Age 86 years. Irene A. Thibeault was born May 11, 1913 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Irene was married to Ted Frappier on May 31, 1936. He predeceased her February 14, 1993. She was employed at Sander's Bakery in Detroit as a cake decorator. Irene was a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Ferndale, Michigan. Surviving are one son, Paul R. Frappier and his wife, Diane, Saginaw; five grandchildren: Cindy and Paul Benfanti, Columbia, South Carolina; David and Terri Greif, Marana, Arizona; Jon-Paul Frappier, Ferndale, Michigan; Andre Frappier, Royal Oak, Michigan; Danielle and Pierre-Yves Frappier-Boyer, Washington, D.C.; five great- grandchildren; a sister, Doris and Walter Theriaut, Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Irene was preceded in death by a sister, Annette St. Jean. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2000 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr.
