Died Friday, January 7, 2000 at the Carriage House, age 92 years. Helen was born July 1, 1907 in Bay City and lived here all her life. She was married to Isadore Krawczyk, he predeceased her in 1974. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and its' Rosary Sodality, Felician Sister's Auxiliary, Senior Citizens, League of Catholic Men and Women, Legion of Mary, and a member of the K of C St. Stephen Council 4102 Auxiliary. Surviving family members are a daughter Gerry (Jack) Welter; three sons: Norbert (Janet) Krawczyk, Robert (Ruth) Krawczyk, and Fred (Liz) Krawczyk; a daughter-in-law Pat Krawczyk; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother Felix (Agnes) Tarkowski; sister- in-law Sr. Mary Alvin; special friend Patti Babiarz; many nieces and nephews. A son Daniel Krawczyk predeceased her in 1991. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 10, 2000 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Steven S. Killey will officiate with burial to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Friends may call at Ambrose Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-5 and 7-9 P.M. and on Monday at church, 10:30 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass. St. Stan's Rosary Sodality, Felician Sister's Auxiliary, and Senior Citizens will pray the Rosary Sunday at 2:00 P.M., followed by a Parish Wake Service at 7:30 P.M., both from the funeral home. Kulberg, Pearl I.
Bay City, Michigan Medical Center in Midland. She was born in Bach, MI on February 11, 1912, the daughter of Neil and Nettie (Best) Vader. She married Henry I. Kulberg on August 16, 1937 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 1996. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Until her retirement she was the owner and operator of Beverly Drapery Shop. She is survived by her son Wilbert J. "Joe" (Leela) Hopper of Bay City; a son-in-law Richard Shook of Midland; 9 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; 7 great-great- grandchildren as well as her step- mother Oma Vader of Akron and a half-brother Donald "Bud" (Jeannie) Vader of Akron. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Karin shook, a brother and a sister. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church. The Rev. Andreas H. Teich will officiate. Private burial will be at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church. Passed away Monday, January 17, 2000, at Martin Luther Home in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Esther E. Wylie on June 8, 1940 at Trinity Lutheran Church-Monitor where he was a lifelong member. She predeceased him November 1, 1969. Carl was employed at Dow Chemical Company for over 30 years until his retirement in 1975. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and James Teal, Saginaw; two grandchildren, Scott and Julie Teal, Hudsonville; Michelle and Duane Meier, Saginaw; two great-grandchildren, Joey and Laura Teal, Hudsonville; four brothers and one sister: Ralph Wackerly Jr. and dear friend, Agness Michigan; Arlene Rood, Saginaw; Carl's sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Emma Wackerly, Doris Bergman and Owen Rohn, Saginaw; many nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Wackerly, by a grandson, James C. Teal, and by five brothers and two sisters, his twin brother John, Arthur, Elmer, Albert and William Wackerly, Doris Rohn and Leona Kent. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 A.M.
