Caroline has been released from her pain; she now enjoys eternity with her husband, Earl and son, Marty. She will be missed as a mother, mother-in- law, grandma and great-grandma. Caroline died at her home with her family by her side Thursday, January 27, 2000, age 87 years. Caroline Voisine was born May 18, 1912 in Bay Co. and has lived here all of her life. She married Earl F. Davis Sr. November 26, 1936 in Bay City; he predeceased her June 19, 1989. Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Mary's Church. Surviving are one daughter and four sons: Kahren (Thomas) Pilon of Cheboygan, Earl (Joyce) Davis Jr. of Saginaw, Jerry (Pat) Davis of Bay City, Charles (Len) Davis of San Diego, Walter (Barbara) Davis of Okemos. Caroline dearly loved her 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and they will miss her dearly. Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters. She was predeceased by a son, Martin Davis, five brothers and two sisters. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 31, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James G. Heller officiating. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-5 and 7-9 P.M. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Sister Mary Sylvine, C.S.S.F. (Theodora Kulczak), age 93, died on January 21, 2000 at St. Joseph/Angela Hall of the Felician Sisters Provincial House in Livonia, MI. Born on April 3, 1906 to Catherine (Jablonski) and Martin Kulczak. She attended St. Stanislaus School before entering the convent. She taught at many high schools, exclusively in the Detroit area. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Casimir, Frank, Theophil, Anthony, Marcene Satkowiak, and Cecilia Luptowski. Funeral Services were held at the Provincial House by Fr. Michael Daly, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

Mrs. Clara A. Marsh, age 93, of Sterling, MI, died Wednesday evening at her home. She was born in Melita, MI on March 11, 1906, the daughter of James and Nora (Mann) Daniels. Clara was married to Delos E. Marsh on August 16, 1925 in Standish, MI; he died on July 24, 1955. Mrs. Marsh was employed by the Sterling Post Office for 19 years and was a member of Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church. Surviving are nine children: Phyllis Frey, June (Joe) Nagy, Barb (Sid) Wolfgang, Ernie (Marilyn) Marsh, Harold (Gaynol) Marsh, Cliff (Joy) Marsh, Ron (Jill) Marsh, Carolyn Helmreich, Judy McKee. She was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Marsh. Also surviving are brothers and sisters: Edna (Stanley) Brown, Tip and Az Daniels, Mabel (Charlie) Brown and Claude (Rose) Daniels; 32 grandchildren; 48 great- grandchildren and eight great- great-grandchildren. Besides her son, she was preceded in death by Myrtle Hettinger, Art, Len and James Daniels. Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2000 from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the R. O. Savage Funeral Chapel, Standish and Monday from 11:00 A.M. until 9 P.M. with a 7:30 P.M. Prayer Service at the funeral home. Rite of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 1, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, Standish. She will lie in state at the church from 10 A.M. until service time.
