Ronald Wright Jr.
Ronald Wright Jr., 61, formerly of Charlotte, passed away on Nov. 26, 2008.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and was self-employed at the Lansing State Journal for over 30 years.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wright Sr.; his mother, Betty (Smith) Wright; his wife Linda and two daughters, Tonya and Tammy.
He is survived by brothers Jerry (Myrna) Smith, Fred (Donna) Wright and sisters Joan (Glen) Sinclair, Linda (Pat) Dickinson and Karen (Keith) McCallum, children, Tina Nelson, Tiffany Wright, Robert and Ronald Wright III and six grandchildren.
Interment was held on Dec. 9, 2008 in Lansing.
Theodore Wyble
Theodore “Ted” Wyble, 88, of Lansing, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008.
Mr. Wyble was born Jan. 29, 1920 in Charlotte.
He was a tool and die maker for Oldsmobile.
He is survived by his son, Norman L. Wyble of Charlotte; daughters, Shirley Matthews of Grand Ledge and Sharon Wyble of Fla.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and sister, Lois Rich of Eaton Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his son, Duane.
Memorial gathering was Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at Pray Funeral Home.

Raymond Wyckoff
Raymond F. Wyckoff, 72, of Potterville, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Eaton Community Hospice House.
Raymond was born April 6, 1935 in Roscommon, MI, the son of Fredrick and Ruth (Shore) Wyckoff and had been a Potterville area resident since 1963 coming from Roscommon.
He had served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and had been employed at General Motors in Lansing retiring June 1, 1991 after 28 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Jeanne (Thayer) Wyckoff; four children, Kenneth (Kathy) Wyckoff of Otto, NC, James Wyckoff of Charlotte, Timothy Wyckoff of Astor, FL and Sue (Ron) Worden of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Heather (Ken) Scott, Chelsea Worden, Jared Worden, Diamone Wyckoff and Ashley Wyckoff; one great-granddaughter, Ravyn Scott; brothers, Arnold (Sue) Wyckoff, Ronald (Norma) Wyckoff and Gary (Linda) Wyckoff all of Mio, MI and two sisters, Betty Lassiter of West Branch and Gayle (Bill) Ellis of Roscommon.
Funeral services were held March 17, 2008 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Rebecca Morrison of Potterville United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment in the Benton Township Cemetery, Potterville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the Eaton Community Hospice of Charlotte.

Nina M. Wymer
Nina M. Wymer, age 79 of Parma joined her husband, Robert, in Heaven on Sunday, January 13, 2008.
She was born August 9, 1928 on the family farm in Tompkins Township, one of eleven children born to Lyman and Arletta (Dotson) Corser.
Mrs. Wymer was a Springport High School graduate and was a member of the Eaton Rapids Community Christian Church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert; parents; 1 sister and 3 brothers.
She is survived by 4 children, Don Wymer of Springport, Sandy (Austin) Lee of Eaton Rapids, Karen (Larry) Clouse of Grass Lake and Bob (Katie) Wymer of Parma; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ruth Barnhouse of Parma and Joyce Remynse of Jackson; 5 brothers, Lawrence and Phillip Corser of Jackson, Glenn (Barb) Corser of Parma and Guy (Barb) Corser of Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held January 17th from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids.
Burial followed in the Tompkins Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial gifts be made to either the Eaton Rapids Community Church or Pope United Methodist Church in memory of Nina Wymer, envelopes available at the funeral home.
Helen Noreen Xanders (Gage)
Helen Noreen Xanders (Gage), of Eaton Rapids and formerly of Cedar Springs, passed away on June 29, 2008 in Lansing.
Helen was born April 27, 1926, the daughter of Harry and Josephine (Frenett) Miller.
Helen graduated from High School in Cedar Spring, after graduating she was employed by Wolverine World Wide for several years.
Helen was a member of the South Baptist Church in Lansing. Preceding her in death is her first husband Calvin Gage and daughter-in-law Carol Gage.
Surviving is her husband Jack Xanders, 4 children Karen (Mike) Snider, Dan (Deb) Gage, Janet (Mark) Burton, and Calvin Keith Gage; 9 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; 2 sisters Treva Jensen, and Glenna Richards; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids.
Mary Youngs
Mary “Janice” Youngs, 71, of Potterville, died Dec. 4, 2008.
Mrs. Youngs was born Jan. 10, 1937 in Lansing, the daughter of Leslie and Marjorie (Ross) Parks.
Mrs. Youngs was an executive secretary for the State of Michigan Department of Civil Service.
She was active in the Women’s Group, the Church Memorial Committee and the Secret Grandma Program at the Potterville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale in 1997; son-in-law, Marty Whitehead in 2001 and sister, Joyce Covell.
She is survived by her daughters, Anita (Larry) Ruffner of Vermontville and Amy Whitehead of Lansing; brothers, Joseph (Beverly) Metzger of Charlotte; sister, Joann (Ted) Cichecki of Chesterfield; and two grandchildren, Heather and Hillary Ruffner.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 8, 2008 with Reverend Rebecca Morrison officiating at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte. Interment was in Deepdale Cemetery, Lansing.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the Potterville United Methodist Church or Eaton Community Hospice.
