Billy Day
Billy “Bill” J. Day, 75, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007. Mr. Day was born Jan. 15, 1932 in Charlotte, the son of Harl and Florence (Chatfield) Day.
Mr. Day had been a real estate agent for the past 20 years. He served as a US Marine during the Korean War and was employed by Diamond Reo for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dorance Day and brother-in-law, Robert McKee.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barb; son, Mark (Norma) Day of Charlotte; daughter, Kim Day of Potterville; special family friend, Evelyn Chambers of Potterville; daughter, Lisa (Ron) Price of Mulliken; two grandchildren, Zachary Price and Ruben Fletcher; sister, Eilene McKee of Charlotte.
Funeral services were held Dec. 8, 2007 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, with Reverend Richard Mitterling officiating. Interment was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Charlotte.

Sharon DeMull
Sharon J. DeMull, 53, of Potterville died unexpectedly Feb. 15 at her home.
She was born in Lansing June 16, 1953 a daughter of Peter and Darleen (Barnes) DeMull. A graduate of Grand Ledge High School, she was employed by the Michigan Secretary of State.
Surviving are her brother, Gerald DeMull; sister, Gail (Steve) Thomson, all of Grand Ledge; nieces and nephews, Autumn DeMull, Carlyn Ross, Matt DeMull, Nathan Peel and Melissa Peel; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held Feb. 19 at Barker-Leik Funeral Home, Mulliken, with Rev. Gregory R. Wolfe officiating. Interment was in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matt DeMull, John Esch, Nathan Peel and Chad Ross.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Kurt DeMuth
Kurt J. DeMuth, 26, of Charlotte, died, Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007. Mr. DeMuth was born May 13, 1981 in Charlotte, the son of James and Susan (Cooper) DeMuth.
Mr. DeMuth was an H-VAC Specialist for a heating and cooling service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and sports. Mr. DeMuth was a wonderful husband, great dad and brother who was very proud of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Heidi; son, Austin; daughter, Nevaeh; parents; grandparents, Richard & Lila Cooper, Carl & Barbara DeMuth; great-grandmother, Mary Cooper; sister, Kristin (Jason) Bowzer; nephews, Dreux and Brayden; brother-in-law, Jeremy Ames and sister-in-law, Amanda Ames.
Funeral services were held Sept. 29, 2007 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Phil Hobson officiating. Interment was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Charlotte.

Donna Deuel
Donna M. Deuel, 94, of Charlotte, died, Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007. Mrs. Deuel was born Nov. 11, 1912 in Needmore, MI, the daughter of Ray and Blanche (Kreig) Davis.
Mrs. Deuel was a homemaker who taught Sunday School for 30 years. She was a volunteer for Hayes Green Beach Hospital and the Red Cross. Mrs. Deuel enjoyed collecting pottery and her proudest moments were of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; brothers, Martin Davis, Max Davis and Rex Davis; sisters, Doris Woods, Virginia Ranck and Arlene Schell.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Love; son, Larry (Karen) Deuel; son, Lynn (Sharyn) Deuel; daughter, Karen Sanders; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and brother, Hallie Davis.
Funeral services were held Aug. 18, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, Charlotte, with Pastor Bob Wisehart officiating. Interment was at the Needmore Cemetery in Charlotte.

Thomas Dexter
Thomas "Tom" Dexter of Charlotte, died May 23, 2007. He was born on December 4, 1941, the son of Donald and Myrtle (Kilburn) Dexter.
Mr. Dexter was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. The most important things in his life were his love and faith in God, his family and many friends. He was a police officer for the Charlotte Police Department for 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Dexter, Jr.; his sister, Carol Rowlee; and his parents, Donald and Myrtle Dexter.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; son, Tony (Chris) Dexter of Olivet; daughter, Kris Fetterman of Charlotte; and son, Kevin (Randi) Fetterman of Olivet; grandchildren, Tyler Dexter, Madie Dexter, Ezra Dexter, Cal Moultine, Pvt.David Bayly, Nikole Bayly, Konner Fetterman, Kollin Fetterman; his sister, Sandy (Skip) Brown of Eaton Rapids; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held May 26 at Pray Funeral Home with Tom Raymond officiating. Interment was at Gresham Cemetery in Charlotte. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gresham United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
Jack L. Dickerson
Jack L. Dickerson OF Eaton Rapids, age 74, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Eaton Rapids. Jack was born February 24, 1933 in Potterville, MI, the son of Silas Lynn and Bernice Belle (Lyons) Dickerson-Taylor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, and a member of VFW Post 2406 in Charlotte. Jack retired as Dock Controller for GM Parts Warehouse after 37 years of service, but his life passion was farming. He was an avid bowler and President of Top of the Hill Bowling League in Charlotte. Preceded in death by his three sisters, Vivian, Norma and Helen.
Jack is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty L. Dickerson; 4 children, Debbie (Richard) Drewyor of VA, Jack (Montse) Dickerson of VA, Shelly (David) Waidelich of Eaton Rapids, Richard Dickerson of Eaton Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Don (Sandra) Taylor of Eaton Rapids; brother-in-law, Don Miller of Potterville; several nieces and nephews; and his “best friend” Benjamin.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Wesleyan Church, Eaton Rapids, with interment following at Brickyard Cemetery, Eaton Rapids. Arrangements by the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Eaton Rapids Wesleyan Church in memory of Jack Dickerson.
Frank Dolman
Frank Dolman, 84, of Potterville, passed away on Oct. 22, 2007.
Frank was a member of the U.S. Army serving during WWII in the Philippines and retired from Fisher Body as a welder.
Surviving are, his wife of 48 years, Esther (Helmker) Dolman; children, Ann (Chris) Brooks, Anita (Ron) Saba, Alan (Kim) Dolman and Arnold (Becky) Dolman; along with many grandchildren and other family members.
Funeral services were held Oct. 26, 2007 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with Pastor Danny Stoneham of Capitol City Church of God officiating. Interment followed in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Karl Donze
Karl P. Donze, 71, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007. Mr. Donze was born Nov. 13, 1935 in Detroit, the son of Paul and Irmel (Mathewson) Donze.
He was preceded in death by his parents and half-sister, Marie (Susie) Monroe.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Edna; son, Kevin (Diane) Donze of Mulberry FL; daughter, Tiffani Donze of Charlotte; step-son, Michael (Kari) McManus of Villa Rica, GA; step-daughter, Michelle “Shelly” (Jeff) Bowerman of Charlotte; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Glenn (Sue Ellen) Donze of Springfield, MO; half-brother, Bruce (Doris) Raymond of Englewood, FL and nephew Karl (Lori) Monroe of Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
No services will be held.
