Goldie Wyble
Goldie M. Wyble, 92, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007.
Mrs. Wyble was born Aug. 8, 1915 in Caramel Township, MI, the daughter of Ralph and Florence (Wyble) Baker.
Mrs. Wyble was an assembler at Wilcox Gay Corporation.
She was an active member of the AARP being featured in a newspaper article.
She belonged to a square dancing group and helped with senior citizens dinners at the Olivet School.
She enjoyed gardening and traveling throughout many different destinies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton in 1999.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Ward) Loveless of Charlotte; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 21, 2007 at Pray Funeral Home with Reverend Rich Mitterling officiating.
Interment was at Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Hospice House, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association or American Heart Association.

Gerald Yarger
Gerald A. Yarger, 61, of Nashville, died March 10, 2007 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.
He was born Aug. 23, 1945, the son of Lloyd and Velma (Wendorf) Yarger in Marshall.
Gerald enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger and working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Yarger.
Gerald is survived by his children; brother, Roger (Cherry) Yarger of Nashville; uncle and aunt, Gary and Ruby Wendorf of Nashville and their family.
Services took place at 2:30 p.m. March 14 at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue.
Pastor Steve Olmstead, Pleasantview Family Church, officiated. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
Memorials may go to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.

Savilla Yoder
Savilla Yoder, 76, of Vermontville, died Friday, March 23, 2007.
Mrs. Yoder was born Nov. 17, 1930 in Dover, Del., the daughter of John J. and Mary (Miller) Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elsie Mae Yoder; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by daughters, Lizzie Yoder of Hartville, Ohio, Lucy (David) Coblentz of Vermontville, Anna Mary (Orva) Hochstetler of Windsor, Mo., Barbara Ellen (Allen) Byler of Fredonia, Pa., Savilla (Rudy) Byler of Vermontville; son, Rufus (Mary) Yoder of Danville, Ohio; daughters, Rhoda (Henry) Detweiler of Vermontville, Irene (Jerry) Mast of Vermontville; sons, Roy (Elaine) Yoder of Vermontville, Eli Jay (Dorothy) Yoder of Danville, Ohio; 76 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Mast of Dover, Del., Barbara Petershein of Mifflintown, Pa.; brother Levi (Lizzie) Yoder of Pa.; sisters, Mary Slabaugh of Crofton, Ken., Eva (Levi) Miller of Mechanicstown, Ohio, Emma (Neil) Hersheberger of Richfield Springs, N.Y. and Sara Gingerich of Dover, Del.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. March 26 at the home of Owen Byler, with Kenneth Plank officiating.
Interment was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Vermontville.

William Yost
William "Bill" Yost passed away peacefully at his home in Vermontville in the loving care of his family, just after sunrise on July 28, 2007.
Bill started his life journey on Jan. 15, 1939 in Battle Creek, born to Will Seward and Winifred Laura Yost.
He attended Battle Creek and Nashville schools.
He joined the United States Air Force in 1955, and returned to marry the love of his life, Patricia Jean Lapland on May 4, 1957.
Bill worked for Johnson's Iron Industries for 26 years.
He was also a licensed auctioneer, musician, cowboy, fisherman, softball coach, alligator hunter, fund raiser, husband, father, and friend.
They have five children, Kathy (Bob) Main, Mike (Lynda) Yost, Jim (Dawn) Yost, and Tina Yost, stepdaughter, Kelly (Jeff) Hamilton; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Will "Yogi" (Suzie) Yost and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Aug. 3 at the Vermontville Bible Church with Rev. Roger Claypool officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Daniels Funeral Home, Nashville.
Contributions may be made to Barry Community Hospice.
Elizabeth Youngs
Elizabeth J. Youngs, 90, of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007.
Mrs. Youngs was born June 14, 1917 in Detroit and had been a Charlotte resident for about 70 years.
She was a retired employee of Charlotte Public Schools where she had served as the head of Food Services.
She was a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Youngs on Aug. 1, 2006; brother, Burton Wood and sister, Virginia Larkin.
Surviving are, son, Carl (Patricia) Youngs II of North Barrington, IL; her daughter, Kathleen Marie (James R.) Rush of Verona, WI; six grandchildren, Kelly Marie (Jason) Wright, Heather Suzanne (Bryan) Mjaanes, Shannon Elizabeth (James) Shanahan; James Carl (Wendy) Rush, Daniel Joseph (Hillary) Rush and Michael Paul Rush; 10 great-grandchildren, Christopher James Rush, Megan Julee Rush, William Daniel Rush, Connor Martin Wright, Kaitlin Elizabeth Wright, Charlie Youngs Mjaanes, Zachary Carl Mjaanes, Elizabeth Jane Mjaanes, Carly Elizabeth Shanahan and Claire Patricia Shanahan and special cousin, Pauline Wild Hons.
Funeral services were held Sept. 4, 2007 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Philip Hobson officiating.
Interment in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may go to the Alzheimers Association.

Vaughn A. Zenker
Vaughn A. Zenker, age 78 of Eaton Rapids died Sunday, October 7, 2007 at a Lansing hospital.
Born July 24, 1929 in Lansing, the son of Albert and Elsa (Warner) Zenker.
Vaughn worked at Motor Wheel for 5 years, REO for 3 years and retired after 30 years of service for Jet Die and Engineering in Lansing.
He loved his family and enjoyed cutting firewood.
Vaughn fought a long hard fight with his illness and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Basil and Bruce Zenker.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maxine; son, Steve (Shay) Zenker of Eaton Rapids; daughter, Jill (Tom) Paine of Bath; 3 grandchildren, Nicki Zenker, Kiersten and Andrew Paine; sister, Lynne Eglon of Springport and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids.
Private family graveside services will follow.
