Ron enjoyed a vibrant karaoke career in Florida - he was a local favorite, especially with his rendition of Willie Nelson’s “You Were Always on My Mind.” He also turned a passion for art and engineering into a hobby in copper artwork as “Copper Cat.” While Ron and Margy greatly enjoyed the Florida weather and lifestyle, they dearly missed their daughters and returned to Michigan in August 2004, settling in Buchanan.
His keen mind, lively sense of humor and tenacious spirit will be missed by his wife, Margaret Ann, and their two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Glen Ashlock of Ann Arbor, and Tiffany and Nolan Passick of Benton Harbor, as well as many friends in Michigan and Florida.
