Luella Klink
Luella Ann Klink, age 100, died Saturday, April 17, 1999 in Lansing. Luella was born Aug. 28, 1898 in Lake City, the daughter of Wesley Ariel and Mary Ellen (McLellan) Spaulding.
She was a member of the Robbins United Methodist Church in Eaton Rapids and the United Methodist Women.
Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Luman and son, Robert. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth (Richard) Wright of Eden and Edith (James) Zeitz of Stockbridge; two sons, David (Donna) Klink of Lansing, William (Rose) Klink of Holt; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great and great-great-great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Klink of Texas.
Funeral services were held on Wed. April 21, 1999 at 1 p.m. at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 S. Main, Eaton Rapids, with Pastor Mary DeBow officiating. Interment will follow at Fowler Cemetery, Aurelius. The family received friends on Tuesday, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Robbins United Methodist Church in memory of Luella Klink.
Neoba Klont
Neoba Klont, 94, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Lansing, died May 3, 1999.
Mrs. Klont was born Jan. 2, 1905 in Vermontville, the daughter of William and Edith (Smith) Wright. She was retired from the Lansing Board of Water and Light after 42 years of service.
She is survived by one sister, Ada Rowe of Sarasota; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tunnes, and one sister, Doris Powers.
Graveside services were May 7 at the Hillsdale Cemetery, Kalamazoo Township.
Arrangements were made by Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
Anthony Krancich
Anthony J. Krancich, 74, of Oakland Park, Fla., passed away Jan. 23, 1999 at his home.
Mr. Krancich was a retired vice president of Shaw Trucking Co., a Michigan State University graduate and football fan, and World War II Air Corp veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; sons, Steven (Patti) of Holt and Jon of Grand Ledge; daughters, Mary (Sam) Lopez of Grand Ledge and Toni (Rick) Zubrick of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jacqui Thomas, Jennifer Grace, and Joey Krancich; and great-grandchildren, Travis and Alexa Thomas and Jacob and Elizabeth Grace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Bessie, and sister, Mildred.
Services were Jan. 27 at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Elder Charles Kanamann, officiated. Interment was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Jean Kring
Jean Kring, 55, of Charlotte, died Feb. 22, 1999 in Lansing.
Mrs. Kring was born March 17, 1943 in Cromwell, Ind. the daughter of Albert Irshkin and Helen Christine (Compton) Dull. She had been employed with R.C. Hahn Co. in Lansing for the past 14 years.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney E.; three daughters, Barbara King of Charlotte, Sandy Cole of Potterville, and Deborah (Terry) Lemley of Ariz.; a son, James Kring of Olivet; six grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Justin, Heather, Rachel and Jordan; a sister, Karen Stroup of Indiana; two brothers, Charles (Ursula) Dull of Ariz. and Larry (Wanda) Dull of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Dull.
Services were held Feb. 27 at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Dewitt of Faith In Christ Lutheran Church, Eaton Rapids officiating. Interment was at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmel, Ind.

Gary Lake
Gary Andrew Lake, 53, of Charlotte died Nov. 2, 1999.
Mr. Lake was born June 25, 1946 in Charlotte, the son of Gerald and Agnes (Andrews) Lake. He was a self-employed farmer and in equipment sales. He was a member of the 2 Cylinder Tractor Club and Sunfield Haulers.
He is survived by his wife, Althea (Shaw); one son, Curtis (Jamie); one grandson, Cameron Lake; his mother, Agnes; one sister, Sharon (Frank) Torres of Weston, MO; one brother, Frederick of Lansing; special aunt, Shirley Brumm; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald in 1988.
Services were Nov. 5 at Pray Funeral Home with the Rev. Marc Livingston officiating. Interment was in the Benton Township Cemetery, Potterville.
Rex Lamb
Rex L. Lamb, 95, formerly of Olivet and Bellevue, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999.
Mr. Lamb was born Feb. 5, 1904 in Lee Township, Calhoun County, the son of Rue Ray and Caroline Elizabeth (Connely) Lamb. He liked to travel and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Charles) Swindlehurst of Lansing; two sons, Paul of Lansing and Phillip (Sandra) of Dansville; four grandchildren, Rex (Karen) Swindlehurst, Roy (Becky) Swindlehurst, Thomas Lamb, and Michelle (Rick) Murphy; five great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Arlene Wight and Margie Service; and five stepsons, Charles Stevens, Ray Stevens, Glen Stevens, Robert Stevens, and Jim Stevens.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Marguerite (Creyts) in 1971; and his second wife, Bernice (Holt) in 1993.
Services were held March 1 at Pray Funeral Home. Interment was in Bosworth Cemetery in Olivet.

Vincent Larsen
Vincent Larsen, 84, of Charlotte died April 23, 1999.
Mr. Larsen was born March 20, 1915 in Greenville, the son of Vego and Mary (Kroman) Larsen. He worked for Johnson Iron Foundry in Charlotte and was in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #355, Belding, and the Lawrence Avenue United Methodist Church, Charlotte.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan (Terry) Tast of Charlotte; one son, Michael (Mary) of Downingtown, Penn.; one granddaughter, Sara Tast; two grandsons, Scott (Suzie) Larsen and Jeff Larsen; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, in May 1997, and two sisters, Isabelle Streeter, and Bernice Herron.
Services were April 26 at the Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, with the Rev. George Fleming officiating. Interment was at Easton Cemetery, Ionia.
Ruth Laubaugh
Ruth L. (Dane) Laubaugh, 95, of Charlotte died June 23, 1999 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings after a long illness.
Mrs. Laubaugh was born Jan. 29, 1904 in Eaton County, the daughter of Rand and Ina (Weaver) Wickham and was a lifelong Eaton County resident. She was a graduate of Charlotte High School, attended Eaton County Normal School, and was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was a retired schoolteacher and had been a childcare provider.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Dane and her husband Richard Laubaugh; one grandson, Gregory Dane in February 1998; and two brothers, Glenn Wickham and Rhuel Wickham.
Services were June 15 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Chapel, Charlotte, with the Rev. George Fleming officiating. Interment was in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte.
