Brittni Michelle Flynn
Brittni Michelle Flynn of Lansing, our little Angel, went to be with The Lord, Sunday, June 19, 2005. Brittni was born Dec. 9, 2004, the daughter of Edna Adams and Justin Flynn.
Brittni always had a smile on her face and brought more joy into our lives than she will ever know. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Zachariah Adams; great grandfathers, Douglas Moore and Charles Darcy; great grandmother, Marilyn Doucette; great-great grandmother, Mary Lewis.
Brittni is survived by her parents, Edna Adams and Justin Flynn; brothers, J.J. and Ethan Flynn; grandparents, Wesley and Debra Faust, Roxanne Flynn, Roy Darcy and Thomas Howse; one special friend, Randy Gallimore. Also surviving are many great-great grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 22 at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel with Pastor Frances Dunn-Simon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to J.J. & Ethan Flynn’s college fund in memory of Brittni.
Billie Lee Foote
Billie L. Foote, age 69, of Onondaga, died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Eaton Rapids Medical Center. She was born November 15, 1935 in Onondaga, the daughter of Maurice and Cora Isabell (Crites) Glover. Billie was a Leslie High School graduate, class of 1953, a member of the Onondaga Community Church and a member of the Onondaga Township Bereavement committee. She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Glover in 2003.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Donald; son, Joel (Tina) Foote of Pleasant Lake and daughter, Gina Foote of Onondaga; 5 grandchildren, Aaron, Kylee and Nathan Foote and Michael Lafleur and Joeb Fernard; mother, Isabell Moyers of Onondaga; 3 sisters, Linda (Mark) Cervantes of Parma, Wanda Jarvis of Imperial Beach, CA, and Jean Doyle of Leslie; numerous nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 16th at 1:00 p.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids. Burial will follow in the Onondaga Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to either the Onondaga Community Church Building Fund or the Onondaga Township Fie Department, in memory of Billie Foote.
Amos M. Fox
Amos Martin Fox, 83, a former resident of Vermontville, passed away Sept. 15, 2005 in Fremont.
Amos graduated from Vermontville High School in 1939. He was the first president of the FFFA. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a lifetime member of the Nashville VFW. Amos worked in the beef cattle industry and attended Michigan State University’s short course in animal husbandry. He worked for MSU for 42 years and is best known for promoting quality in the beef cattle industry throughout the state of Michigan. He was beef cattle herdsman at MSU for 20 years, and shared his expertise in beef cattle by running the MSU Performance Testing Program for 22 years. He was a member of many beef cattle bred associations and a judge at county 4-H fairs in Michigan. Amos’ knowledge and love of the cattle industry helped to improve many herds throughout the state.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Amos Fox and Ruth Goldsmith Fox; brother, John Fox; Virginia Fox and son-in-law, Gordon White.
He is survived by his children, Glenna Fox Thorn and Mary Fox White, both of Scottville, Judy Fox of Grand Ledge, and Larry (Dorothy) Fox of Vermontville; brother and sister-in-law, Art and Marilyn Fox of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Ruth Fox of Hot Springs village, Ark.; grandchildren, Ryan, Roger (Stephanie) and Russ Thorn, Nick (Kendra) Thompson, Kelly Lou Fox; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Kita, Camie Andler, Jeff (Jennifer) and Stephen White, and Kelly (Patrick) Duggan; great grandchildren, Abby, Gracie and Desiree Andler; nieces and nephews, Rob and Marty (Eileen) Fox, Marcy (Paul) Racine, Nancy Carey, Janet Fox (Kevin) Dooley, Kathy (Ben) Brainard, and John (Karen) Fox.
Interment and a graveside service were held Sept. 20 at the Vermontville Cemetery.

Morrell O. Frantz
Morrell Ora “Lefty” Frantz, 72, of Lorida, Fla., passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2005.
Lefty was born Jan. 25, 1933 in Sunfield, the son of Ora and Opal (Green) Frantz. He attended and graduated from high school in Sunfield, and moved to Florida from the Hastings area. He was a journeyman welder and ironworker at Triplex in Sunfield, opened Lefty’s Sport Shop in Woodbury, owned Frantz Buick Chevrolet in Hastings, and was the owner/operator of a charter boat service in the Great Lakes and the Ocean/Gulf off the Florida Keys. Lefty was a member of AA for 37 years and retired master sergeant after 12 years in the National Guard. He belonged to the First Baptist Church of Lorida, where he served as music director and senior adult Sunday school teacher. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.
Morrell was preceded in death by his brother, Leland.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie; daughters, Deborah Frantz, Pamela (Dell) Kinney, Kathleen Frantz, Cindy (Mark) Pentecost, Laurie (Al) Hartley, Julie (Paul) Errichetti, and Gina (Tom) Digiacomo; step-children, David (Deb) Campbell, Melinda (Carl) Bunton, Mike Campbell, and Jim Campbell; 28 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 6 at Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-fisher Chapel, Sunfield.
Irene B. Frechen
Irene B. Frechen, 90, of Charlotte, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005 at Hayes Green Beach Hospital.
Mrs. Frechen was born Nov. 13, 1914 in Gratiot County, the daughter of Virgil E. and Florence (Smalley) Barnhill. Irene was a nurse and owned Bayview Nursing Home, retiring in 1953. She enjoyed life, especially reading, doing crafts, teaching ceramics, and playing SkipBo. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Charlotte.
She is survived by her children, Joanna (Paul) Hughes of Arizona, Betty (David) Crowner of Charlotte, Coletta (Jerry) Vaughn of Indiana and Barbara Moser of Florida; 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Lawrence Frechen, in 1975; and a son-in-law, Terry Moser.
A Funeral Mass was held Oct. 4 at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Denis R. Spitzley officiating. Interment was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Mary Catholic Church. Arrangements were by Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
Clarice “Skoch” Frisell
Clarice “Skoch” Frisell, age 71, of Eaton Rapids, died Saturday, August 6, 2005. She was born February 18, 1934 in Moscow, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence and Anna (Campbell) Carris. Mrs. Frisell had worked at many different occupations most recently with her husband at Stanley Stamping in Springport. She enjoyed cooking for her family and family camping trips, was an avid bowler on many leagues, and loved Bingo. Preceding her in death was a son, James in 1999; brothers, Richard and Bob Carris and sister, Betty Faulkner.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Stanley; 3 children, Dennie (Tammie Platt) Frisell of Kinneville, Anna (Jeffrey) burrows of Holt, Trudy (Paul) Amburgey of DeWitt; 4 grandchildren, Matty Jo Six, Jennifer Pilot, April Frisell and Tomas Ellsey; 3 great grandchildren, Gabriel Six, Ashley and Jordan Plot-Frisell and step-great grandchild, Taylor Six; brother, Clarence “Butch” Carris of DeWitt and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with burial following in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Windsor Township. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Charlie Fry
Charlie Fry of Eaton Rapids, age 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 24, 2005. Charlie was born January 22, 1932 in Crawfordsville, IN, the son of Charles and Georgia (Everett) Fry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eaton Rapids. Charlie was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, serving three times in the Philippines and was later a high school teacher in Xenia, OH and Eaton Rapids Public Schools, where he retired in 1986. Preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Dennis.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary (McCampbell) of Eaton Rapids; 2 sons, John (Bobbie) Sagraves of FL, Max (Lou Ann) Sagraves of Onondaga; 5 grandchildren, Theresa (Darin) Dodge, Micah (Trista) Sagraves, Jennifer (David) Dudgeon, Sheri (Steve) Ary, John Michael (Cori) Sagraves; 10 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Betty Proctor of Lafayette, IN, E. Sue Frey of Yuma, AZ, Sandra (James) turner of Darlington, IN.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the First Baptist church, 9220 Kinneville, Eaton Rapids. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28 at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia, Ohio. Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Eaton Rapids in memory of Charlie Fry.
James M. Fuller
James M. Fuller,, of Eaton Rapids, age 91, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in Hillsdale. James was born April 6, 1914 in Lansing, the son of Jesse Hatfield and Vera Viola (Underwood) Fuller. He has been a member of the Eaton Rapids First United Methodist Church since 1933, was a former mayor of Eaton Rapids in the early 70’s and retired from Oldsmobile in 1979. James was an avid golfer and a perennial student of life, economics, and his Lord.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Effie M. (Seelye) in 2001 and daughter, Sarah Copp in 2003.
Surviving are daughters, Georgia Beth (Homer) Bentley of Hillsdale, Marcia Lynn (David) Livingston of Eaton Rapids, Jeannie (David) Werkema of Eaton Rapids; 13 grandchildren, Amy (David Harris) Bentley, Matthew (Yolanda) Bentley, Stephanie (John Weise) Bentley, Dacia (Jeffrey) Parker, Erin (Timothy) Lemke, Nathaniel (Fianceé Marcela Pilarova) Bentley, Jessica (Fianceé Benjamin Eysselinck) Livingston, Jacob (special friend, Abigail Richardson) Livingston, Omaira (David) West, Heather (Copp) (Eric) Beck, Heidi (Copp) David) Hamm, Jamie (Williams) (Robert) Ribby, Tiffany Williams; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 1 sister, Betty Webb of Galesburg, and 2 nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, October 24, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Evans and Pastor Fred B. McGlone, Ill, officiating. Interment followed at Rosehill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids. Arrangements were by the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids. Those desiring may make contributions to Small Blessings at the First United Methodist Church, the New Covenant Christian School, or PNC at First Presbyterian Church in Hillsdale.
