Leonard I. Pierson, 78, of Prescott, Ariz., former resident of Ionia, died January 24, 2003 of cancer at Veterans Hospital in Prescott. He was born August 5, 1924 to Carl and Nellie (Stewart) Pierson of Eastlake.

LeRoy A. Zerba, 71, of Hubbardston, died, Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at his home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, in Carson City, with Rev. Mike McAlvey of the First Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Westside Cemetery, Hubbardston.

Lettie M. Carpenter, 94, of Saranac passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, in Ionia. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at Saranac Community Church with Rev. Nate Gibbons and Bruce Chadwick officiating. Visitation was 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday and will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.

Lillian L. Andrews, 83, of Muir, passed away Sept. 26, 2000. Funeral services for Mrs. Andrews will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Muir with the rev. Robert Girdwood officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home, Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.
Linda D. (Meyers) Carroll, 58, of Portland, passed away on Tues., Sept. 18, 2001. The funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church of Portland at 11 a.m., Friday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 1301 E. Grand River Ave., Portland with interment following at East Sebewa Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday.

Lloyd L. Sawdy, 80, formerly of Lake Odessa went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, and has been reunited with his wife, Doris, who preceded him in death Sept. 21, 2000. Visitation is 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday at Koops Funeral Home in Lake Odessa. The funeral service is 11 a.m., Saturday at Koops Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery.
Lloyd Mutschler, aged 81, of Clarksville, passed away at Pennock Hospital on Thursday morning, Oct. 30, 2003.
