Myron Odgers TRAINER Thomas Parks The prospects for a successful football lineup for next year are even brighter than those of years past. Seven of last year's "L" men still remain, and there is a good source of material from last year's second team. Howard "Howdy" Bryan, the clever and speedy center of last year, will be seen again in that position. Stewart Conant, a veteran of last year, and Leo Studer will take care of the guard positions. Nasen Curtin, the spare guard of last year's team, will play tackle with Harold Brown, a new find, for teammate. The ends will be well filled by the old reliables. Wiiam St. Pierre and Zeldon Pelland. The quarter back position will be filled by George Wiesenauer, another member of the family noted for the production of famous quarterbacks. The halves will be well taken care of by Charles McNickle, the speed" right-half, and "Bluey" Paull the little line ripper. The full-back position will be more than filled by Harold Tonlon. better known as "Flat." -R. L. '17. RECORD OF THE LAKE LINDEN HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM. 1913-1916. 1913 Wiiam Stark. Captain. GRAND TOTAL Opponents-26 o Lake Linden - 343 The 1913 defeats were due to an entirely green team, this being the first year of football the boys ever had, and to a couple of minor injuries. The 1914 team was a much better combination than the first year's team because of new interest in the game and because many of the 1913 team were back again in 1914. The 1915 team was an improvement over the two preceding teams as is shown by the scores, the onnonents being able only to register 3 points to our 113. During this season no opponent crossed our goal line, the 3 points being scored by Hancock on a place kick. The 1916 season was a successful one, despite two defeats by Hancock, the latter having a much heavier and a more experienced team. Much credit must be given the second team men of 1916, as it did much to give the first team the daily practice, and they also put up a good fight against odds when playing die Hancock second team. - W. Curren, '17.
