THE BLUE AND GOLD, '17.
These arc the watchwords for you and for me,
These are the things done on land and on sea.
Stop and then look and just listen, you all,
For this is my country's present call. — Ruth MacDonald.
CAESAR'S BRIDGE.
We have bridges in our noses,
We have bridges on our rivers,
But the hardest bridge I know of
Was that crazy bridge of Caesar's.
If Caesar were only I
And if I were only Caesar,
I wouldn't have built that bridge,
But should have swam across the river.
Fur many a Latin student,
Was caused by that great hero,
When working on that bridge
To get no more than zero.
