THE BLUE AND GOLD. '17. all sides. I jumped again, and held my breath. Wierd green lights began to come out of the woods. In a few minutes. when my eyes became accustomed to the lights I saw twelve witches sitting around an iron pot about which darted green flames. Then I heard a high, squeaky voice ask. "What have You decided about the fate of the 'Class of Nineteen Twenty of the Lake Linden High School?'" Another ghostly voice answered. "We have decided that as the graduating of the present freshman class of the Lake Linden High School will be the three hundredth anniversary of the landing of the Pilgrims, their class will be a record class in the high school. We will guard every member and give them all happiness and prosperity. Finally to the class as a whole, we will give the privilege of setting an example which other classes will follow." When her he spied. her glance she moved In sternest looks his frown reproved. And as a bird shut in a cage She glanced at him with silent rage. "Greeney."
