William James Coatsworth
age 91 of Beverly Hills, died February 14, 2008, after a short illness. Bill grew up in Clawson and Royal Oak and attended St. Mary’s of Royal Oak. After high school, Bill attended the University of Detroit and graduated in 1943 from Lawrence Technological Institute with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. He was a WWII veteran having served in the United States Navy and a member of the American Legion Post 253, Frank Wendland, Royal Oak. Bill retired from General Motors Truck and Coach in 1982.
Bill is survived by his children, Greg, Sandy (Michael) Burke and Mary Sue Coatsworth and grandchildren, Brittany and Chris. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Stewart Coatsworth and son, William “Skip” Coatsworth.
Funeral at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Ten Mile Road (Between Lahser and Telegraph) Monday 10am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am. Visitation at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. age 80, of Eastpointe, died February 11, 2008, at Village of East Harbor in Chesterfield Twp., Michigan 48017.
Homer C. Brush
age 87, of Royal Oak, died February 13, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Mr. Brush was born June 24, 1920, in Raddle, Illinois and Wayne State University and received a Certificate of Completion from Cornell University. Mr. Brush was a Captain in the United States Coast Guard Reserves serving during World War II. He taught chemistry to high school and community college students until 1957 and then went on to the Chrysler Corporation, where he was a Chemical Engineer from 1957-1983. He became the Manager in Environmental Engineering at Chrysler. Mr. Brush had a patent on drawing compound for metalworking and a Certificate of Merit for Chrysler Engineering. He was a member and past president of the Detroit Branch of the American Electroplating Society, and a Registered Professional Engineer in Michigan. He was also a member of St. Columban Catholic Church in Birmingham. After his retirement, Mr. Brush enjoyed traveling, golfing, home projects, photography and spending time with his family.
Mr. Brush is survived by his son, Jim (Sandy) Brush, daughter, Marsha (Gary) Toth and grandchildren, Kristin Toth, Amanda (Dave) Bernard, Roxie Brush, Emily (Sebastian) Atar, James Brush and Michael Toth. He is also survived by his great-grandchild, Marcelo Atar and brother, Melvin (Tillie) Brush. Mr. Brush is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Mae and brother, John Brush.

Thomas M. Teasel
age 57, died early Saturday morning, February 9, 2008 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Tom was born January 14, 1951, to William & Mary Lou Teasel of Bloomfield Hills, MI. He graduated from Seaholm High School in Birmingham in 1969, and attended Oakland University for Mechanical Engineering. Tom married Judie Zoller, June 4, 1971 and enlisted in the United Stated Air Force in July 1971, as an Aeronautical Engineer. His first daughter, Jeannie was born in August 1972. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 1977. Tom & Judie had a second daughter, Susan in July 1977. They resided in Troy, MI where he worked for the Teasel family business as a salesman and traveled the world.
Between 1977 and 1982, he completed the Gunite Aqueduct through the Mountains supplying Mexico City with fresh water. Tom moved his family to Johannesburg, South Africa in 1982 where he started and ran a successful Gunite business for four years building in-ground Gunite pools, support walls in gold and diamond mines and security walls in Kruger National Park. He found his first beloved dog, Shadow, as a stray puppy while in Africa. In 1986, his “Shadow” accompanied him home to the United States.
Tom started and ran two successful businesses; Gun-Quip, Inc. and Inova Group, Inc. from 1986 to 1997. During those years he repaired the Zilwaukee Bridge with Gunite and built hurricane proof Gunite houses in the United States Virgin Islands. He worked with former President Jimmy Florida for Habitat for Humanity, prior to hurricane Andrew. Tom invented the Patchmobile and the Hot Asphalt Process. In 1998 he joined In-Line Construction and merged Inova Group, Inc. into SJR Pavement Repair, Inc. of Warren, MI, where he contracted road repair with 32 Michigan Department of Transportation for Florida, most recently in October 2007.
Most of all Tom Teasel was a stubborn, hardworking man who took care of everyone. He had a fiery temper but an equally Huge Heart! He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Judie; loving daughters, Jeannie (Mark) Meek and Susan (John) Mingay; grandchildren, Nathan, Jack, Kaitlyn and Charlotte and mother-in-law, Jeanne Zoller.

Edward M. Feeney
age 63, of Farmington Hills, died January 20, 2008. Mr. Feeney, known to many of his friends as Mike, was born April 21, 1944, in Fort Benning, Michigan, died January 16, 2008, at Mercy Bellbrook in Rochester Hills. Irene was born October 9, 1913, in Detroit. Following high school, Irene worked at Merle Norman Cosmetics. She loved animals, nature and square dancing and was also a visual artist. After her retirement, Irene lived for 27 years on Beavertail Pointe in Michigan 48307, “In Memory of Irene Markey”.
Darren M. Przytakoski
age 44, of Troy, died January 17, 2008. Darren was born May 9, 1963, in Detroit and was a 1981 graduate of Clawson High School. In 1980, Darren played center for the Detroit Jr. Red Wings, where he began his passion for hockey. Darren married his sweetheart, Karen Matson on May 14, 1988. He enjoyed golf, but his true love was his involvement with his boys, Michal and Justin, and their sporting activities. Darren was active as a coach for the Cranks Hockey Club and currently, the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies, in Troy.
Darren is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Karen, sons, Michal and Justin, and parents, Bruno and Theresa Przytakoski. He is also survived by his siblings, Doug (Janette), Geralyn (Greg) Niederhaus, Gary Przytakoski and Terese Przytakoski, aunt and uncle, Delores Przytakoski and Russell (Mary Lou) Miller, mother-in-law, Betty (the late Elvin) Matson and sisters-in-law, Lauri (Roger) Brown and Lynn Boury. Darren will be deeply missed by his family, as well as his many loving friends and supportive hockey family.
