age 64, of Detroit, died April 6, 2005, at Alpha Manor Nursing Home in Detroit. Mr. Fisher was born January 10, 1941, in Ferndale. Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (Between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Saturday 12pm. Friends may visit beginning at 10am. Interment in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
Ann Emily Patrick
age 83, of Bloomfield, died March 21, 2005, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac. Mrs. Patrick was born January 9, 1922, in Scalplevel, Michigan. Mr. Kluge is survived by his nieces, Sandra Lynn Georgian Bloomfield Nursing Home, after a long full life. Although she earned a journalism degree from the University of Detroit, she spent most of her working life with Goode Real Estate, co-founded with her husband Gilbert C. Goode, Jr., in 1957. She remained a driving force in the business up until the day she died. She also initiated and published the Holy Name Spotlight weekly newsletter "at her kitchen table" for seventeen years. She will be missed by her five children who will always celebrate her courageous spirit which didn't believe in quitting and her clever sense of humor, Judith, Gilbert III, Ronald, David, and Mary, as well as four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Rd (Between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 8 pm, with a rosary at 7pm on Saturday and a prayer/remembrance service at 7pm on Sunday. Funeral at Holy Name Church, 630 Harmon, Birmingham, Monday 11am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 10:30am. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Birmingham. The family suggests donations be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, one of her favorite charities.
Richard M. Kaltz
age 78, of Bloomfield Hills, died June 7, 2003, at Harbor Beach Community Hospital, Harbor Beach, Michigan. He was the only son of Sylvester (Wes) and Marie Kaltz. He attended Lincoln High School in Ferndale, Michigan, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Mr. Kaltz married Barbara Ann Kantz of Ferndale on June 29, 1947. Together they raised three children and were blessed with seven grandchildren. Mr. Kaltz was a successful bisiness owner in Ferndale. His contributions include service as President of the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, Board Member, Detroit Oilmen's Club and sixty years of service in the Ferndale Rotary including the Presidency. Mr. Kaltz loved boating and golf. He once served on the Board of Directors at the Detroit Yacht Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his homes in Florida, Birmingham, Michigan. Mr. Kaltz is survived by his wife, Barbara and children, Judd (Marlene) Kaltz, Ann (Stanley) Poziemski and John (Cheryl) Kaltz. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kristine, Kathy, Steven, Katie, Gregory, Brooke and Eric. Funeral from St. James Episcopal Church, 355 W. Maple, Birmingham, Wednesday, June 11th at 11am. Visitation at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (Between 14-15 Mile Rds.) tuesday 2-8pm. Interment in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lindsey, Nick, Robert, Clayton, Rob, Bill, Christopher, Michelle, John, Kate, and Jake, and one great-grandchild, Olivia. A memorial gathering will be held at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (Between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Wednesday from 4-8pm. A memorial service will be held at the Congregational Church of Birmingham, 1000 Cranbrook Road, on Thursday at 11am. Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, Michigan. She is survived by her sisters, Genevieve Mancini, Irene Vernier, Veronica Peltier, Marilyn Holbrook, and her brother, Leonard LaPonsey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceeded in death by four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (Between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Monday at 11am until the time of the service at 12Noon. A committal service will be held at 2pm at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Anchorville.
Emilie G. Langer
age 99, of Rochester Hills, died June 4, 2003, at Mercy Bellbrook. Mrs. Langer was born October 13, 1903, in Schnellewalde, Germany. She worked for GM Truck and Coach Engineering Division in Warren for 26 years. She was active with the GM Retirement Group. Mrs. Langer is preceeded in death by her daughter Rita Bartsch. She is survived by her grandchildren, Michael Bartsch, Eric Bartsch, and Teresa Bartsch. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, her son-in-law Horst Bartsch, and her many close friends.
