Emmanuel James Mehelas
age 77, of Farmington Hills, died July 29, 2004, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Mr. Mehelas was born April 22, 1927, in Detroit. Mr. Mehelas was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Detroit and U of D Mercy with a degree in Economics and a Masters in Business Administration. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII. Mr. Mehelas retired from Burroughs/Unisys after 31 years of service as a sales/marketing executive. He was a long time member of the Titian Club and past president of the St Regis Parish Council and Ushers Club. Mr. Mehelas enjoyed golf, Northern New Jersey 07738.
John I. Perlich
age 90, of Waterford, died July 31, 2004, at Lourdes Nursing Home in Waterford. Mr. Perlich was born March 21, 1914 to John and Victoria (Dorich) Perlich in Pozega, Croatia. He graduated from Painsdale High School and went to work in the copper mines with his father in the Upper Peninsula of Wisconsin in 1960. He and Victoria were members of Blessed Sacrament Church and the LaCrosse Country Club. They retired to Vero Beach, Wisconsin. Thelma Gunnels
age 90, died July 29, 2004 at Boulevard Hills Nursing Center, Rochester Hills. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert. Loving mother of Marie Phillips, Shelby Donathan, Gilbert, Jr. (Barbara), Glenn Allan (Joan), Jerry Lee (Vicky)and Pamela Sue (Dan) Davis. Milton G. "Mac" Montgomery
age 74, died at his home in Royal Oak, December 8, 2004. Mr. Montgomery was born November 30, 1930, in Detroit. Mr. Montgomery is survived by his wife, Mary, daughter, Nancy (Samuel) Raffa and son, David (Cheri) Montgomery. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony, Caroline and Jonathan Raffa and Adeline, Mac and Carson Montgomery. Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Richard A. Farrell
age 58, of Clawson, died December 7, 2004, at Mid Michigan. Mr. Farrell graduated from Kimball High School in Royal Oak and worked at General Dynamics and retired from Supply side. Mr. Farrell is survived by his mother, Betty A. Farrell, wife, Karen, daughters, Sheryl L. (Pat) Franks, Susan M. (Mike) Mayowski and Shelly A. (Jason) Walker and step-daughter, Teri (Steve) Salwach. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Donna Cross, Christian Franks, Jonathan Walker and Jacob Mayowski and step-grandchildren, Tabatha, Bree, Steven, Dymie and Zoe Salwach, sister, Carol (Tom) DeVries and many nieces and nephews.
