LEVONA LEVY STERNGOLD, 73, former Detroiter of Sunnyvale, Ca., died May 29, 2000. She was a former president of the Sequoia Chapter of Hadassah and active with many charitable organizations. She is survived by her husband, Henry; daughter, Nancy; sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Kathie, James, Paul and June; six grandchildren; sister, Rosslyn Berman of Southfield.

EILEEN L. GOLD, 77, of Oak Park, died May 20, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Ervin Gold; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Susan Gold of Pleasant Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Brian Duncan of Riverview; sister, Bea Posluns of Canada; grandchildren, Jason Gold, Joshua Gold, Tracy Duncan. WILLIAM IRA GOLDEN, 77, of Southfield, died May 19, 2000. He was a paint salesman. SIDNEY GOLDBERG, 84, of West Bloomfield, died May 8, 2000. He is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia Goldberg; son, Douglas Goldberg of West Bloomfield; nephews, Mark (Patty) Goldberg, Alan Goldberg. IRVING GOLDSTEIN, 84, of West Bloomfield, died April 17, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Rochelle Weintraub of Farmington Hills; granddaughter, Elana (Mike) Gloetzner. He was the beloved brother of the late Goldie Vainsot and Allen (Estelle) Goldstein. Graveside services were held at Machpelah Cemetery. JOSEPH GOLDSMITH, 92, of Southfield, died March 25.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Martha Goldsmith of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Ronnie and Ronald Berman of Southfield; sister, Ruth Frank of Long Island, N.Y.; grandchildren, Peggy Berman, Nancy and Nossonal Kleinfeldt, Jaime Berman, Alan Goldsmith, Jessica and Lennie Weiss; great-grandchildren, Rachel Weiss, Chanie Weiss, Nana Weiss. Mr. Goldsmith was the beloved husband of the late Hannah Goldsmith.

MARK "MICKEY" E. GOLD, 61, of West Bloomfield, died March. 24, 2000. Mr. Gold is survived by his wife, Rosalie Gold; children, Julie Gold of Walled Lake, Stacey Gold of Washington, D.C. and fiance, Steve Erd; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Greg Studen of Russell, Ohio. He was the beloved son of the late Rose and the late Harry Gold; the loving brother of the late Sanford Gold; dear brother-in-law of the late Pauline and the late Carl Kaufman. JOYCE H. GOLDENBERG, 76, of West Bloomfield, died Dec. 31, 1999. She was a member of Women's American ORT and the Birmingham Temple. Mrs. Goldenberg is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lisa Goldenberg of West Bloomfield, Dr. Eric and Dr. Rebecca Goldenberg; daughter Debra Haberman of Auburn Hills; grandchildren Hailee and Dustin Goldenberg, Michael Colombo, Sarah Haberman, Emily and Daniel Goldenberg; brother-in-law Wallace Tonkin. LOUIS FINEGOLD, 79, of Southfield, died Dec. 28, 1999. A retired pharmacist, Mr. Finegold was the former owner of Lou's Drugs in Pontiac. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Glenn Lapin of Huntington Woods; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Linda Finegold of Northbrook, Ill.; grandchildren Andrew and Michelle Lapin, Jill, Matthew and Robert Finegold. JOAN GOLDBERG, former Detroiter of Syracuse, N.Y., died Dec. 14, 1999. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned a doctorate at Rutgers University. She was active in adult counseling and gave many presentations in the field as well as helping people renew their lives. She is survived by her husband, Doug Igelsrud of Syracuse; sister Sheilah Goldberg of Oak Park; aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial services were in Syracuse.

BEATRICE GOLDSTONE, 96, of Troy, died Nov. 13, 1999. Mrs. Goldstone is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald M. and Marilyn Goldstone of West Bloomfield; daughter Audrey Klaper of Troy; grandchildren Debra, Robert, Laurie and Amy Kahn, Caren Goldstone, Dr. Larry Goldstone, great-grandson Matthew Schabel; sister and brother-in-law Jean and Leslie Fox of Chicago.
