Mr. Katz was the loving father of the late David Katz; loving brother of the late Bill Katz. NORMAN MORRIS KATZ, 84, of Southfield, died Oct. 2, 2000. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Barbara Katz of Downers Grove, Ill.; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Les Kaplan of Southfield; grandchildren, Bruce and Cheri Epstein, Paule Katz, Cherie and Michael Peterson, Geoffrey Kaplan. Mr. Katz was the beloved husband of the late Edythe Katz. Contributions may be made to Yad Ezra, 26641 Harding, Oak Park, MI 48237. Interment at Hebrew Memorial Park. JOSEPH KATZ, 86, of West Bloomfield, died Sept. 15, 2000. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Susan Katz of Farmington Hills; brother and sister-in-law, Karl and Malka Katz of Israel; granddaughter, Shari Katz. Mr. Katz was the beloved husband of the late Martha Katz. Contributions may be made to the Holocaust Memorial Center, 6602 W. Maple Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48322; B'nai B'rith Youth Organization, 6600 W. Maple Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48322 or to a charity of one's choice. RUTH KATZ, 86, of Hazel Park, died July 22, 2000. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Eleanor Factor of Las Vegas, Nev. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Katz. Graveside services at Machpelah Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Dorfman Funeral Direction. `

BERNARD KATZ, 87, of Oak Park, died July 9, 2000. He was the owner of Oakman Hardware, a cryptologist during World War II and member of Congregation Beth Shalom. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Norma Katz; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Katz Saffer and Jason Saffer of Pennsylvania; son, Frank Katz of Texas; Interment at Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale. Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

IDA KATZ, 84, of Farmington Hills, died Dec. 6, 1999. Mrs. Katz is survived by her sister, Bessie Piper; nieces and nephews Barbara and Nick Altwerger, Nancy and Jay Waldman, Clifford and Myra Klayman, Martin and Margo Katz, Joel Corwin, Dr. James Piper and Dr. Michael and Rhonda Piper; great-nieces and nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Katz and the dear sister of the late Rebecca Corwin, the late Maurice Klayman, the late Sally Kosit and the late Sarah Katz. Interment was at Adat Shalom Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Alzheimer's Association and the American Heart Association. BENJAMIN "BEN" KATZMAN, 77, of Waterford, died March 1, 1999. Mr. Katzman was a member of Perfection Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Dr. Larry Ashman of Farmington Hills, Suzi and Dr. Ronald Bonheim of Waterford; brothers and sisters-in-law Sidney and Sara Kay of Southfield, Maury and Barbara Katzman of Southfield; grandchildren Joel Ashman, Carlee Ashman, Beckie Bonheim, Tony Bonheim. Mr. Katzman was the beloved husband of the late Marion Katzman; loving brother of the late Joseph Katzman. Contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 810 7th Avenue, N.Y. 10019. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery. Services and arrangements by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

MARILYN KATZMAN, 68, of Oak Park, died March 1, 1999. Mrs. Katzman is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Thomas McClish of Virginia, Ellen and Robert Corman of NC 27410 or to B'nai Shalom School, 804 Winview Drive, Greensboro, Michigan, died Jan. 2. Born Rose Simon in Brooklyn, New York untill 1994 when she moved to N.Y., and the order of the Eastern Star, New York; sister, Ruth Resnick Siegel of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Jonathan and Alan Oscher of San Francisco, Suzanne of New York; nephews, Stanley (Ruth) Resnick of Massachusetts; nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins. Mrs. Katzman was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Katzman. Contributions may be made to Hadassah, 5030 Orchard Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI 48323, or to a charity of one's choice. MARTIN S. LEVINE, 65, of West Bloomfield, died Jan. 23. He was a self-employed residential and commercial painting contractor. He was also a member of the Painters Union and B'nai B'rith.
Mr. Levine is survived by his wife, Bobbie Levine; daughter, Audrey Hershkovitz of Michigan Humane Society or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.
