DORA LEVINE, 83, of Oak Park, died Dec. 28, 2000.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and Patrizia Levine of West Bloomfield; grandchild, Stacey Levine. Mrs. Levine was the beloved wife of the late Sam Levine.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 29250 Southfield, Suite 110, Southfield, MI 48076. Services and intermenty at Workmen's Circle Cemetery. Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

DAVID LEVINE, 81, former Detroiter of California, died Dec. 14, 2000. He played drums at local nightclubs in the Detroit area in the 1940s.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, LouAnna; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Blanche of West Bloomfield; sons, David Jr., Michael and Sander. He was the dear brother of the late Lewis, Madeline, Sylvia and Jessie. Services were held in California.

MARILYN LEVINE, 69, of Farmington Hills, died Dec. 3, 2000. She was a member of Temple Israel.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy and Henry Abrams of West Bloomfield, Lisa and Robert Gittleman of Orchard Lake, Jayne and Vincent Beatty of Florida; grandchildren, Jordyn, Katie and Jessica Abrams, Julie and Alixandra Ray, Danny and Brett Yarmuth; brother, Louis Rosenof Clinton Township. Mrs. Levine was the beloved wife of the late Nathan Levine.

JACOB LEVINE, 82, of Bingham Farms, died March 4, 2000. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. T. Barry and Arlene Levine of Bingham Farms; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Arthur Reed of England; brother, David Levine of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Laibel Mordechai, Leah Pessah. Mr. Levine was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Levine. Contributions may be made to Yeshiva Beth Yehudah or the Rabbi Sholom Goldstein Memorial Fund. Services and intermenty in Florida. MILDRED LEVINE, 84, of Farmington Hills, died Jan. 31, 2000. She was an accountant for the federal government. Ms. Levine is survived by her sister, Gertrude Levine; loving nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the loving sister of the late Nathalie Rosenberg and the late Kenneth Levine. IRVING "IRISH" LEVINE, 92, of Southfield, died Jan. 3, 2000. For 50 years, Mr. Levine was a manufacturers representative for Rembrandt Lamps. He was also a member of Perfection Lodge F & AM, the Furniture Club and the Furniture Travelers of America. Mr. Levine is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Rosalind Levine of West Bloomfield, Arthur and Marjorie Levine of Southfield; grandchildren Leslie and Alan Ruby, Stacey and Sheldon Olson, David Levine, Mark and Lonna Levine, Michael Levine; great-grandchildren Jayme, Jacob and Lauren Ruby, Max Olson and Simone Levine; sister Sophie Mayea of Farmington Hills; sister-in-law Lillian Levine; companion Mildred Schiff. Mr. Levine was the beloved husband of the late Belle Levine. Interment was at Beth El Memorial Park. LILLIAN LEVINE, 86, of Oak Park, died March 17. She is survived by her son, Neil Levine of South Rockwood; daughters Eleanor Albert of Oak Park, Rochelle Katlein of Farmington Hills; brother Bernard Linton of Florida; sisters and brother-in-law Dorothy Friedenberg of Florida, Ruth Fink of Oak Park, Mary Roberts of Southfield, Sally Broad of Southfield, Evelyn and Hershel Myers of Farmington Hills; sisters-in-law Minnie Linton and Bertha Linton; grandchildren Glen and Tracy Katlein, Vikki and David Thomas, Terri Katlein; great-grandchildren Kristy and Jenny. BETTY LEVINE, 85, formerly of Detroit of Bronx, N.Y., died Dec. 24. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Sheldon Schwartz (Estelle) of Bronx, Mrs. Carol Kornfeld of Oak Park, Mrs. David Eidelman (Judy) of Palatine, Ill; grandchildren, Hope Bocker and Eric Scwartz of Bronx, Jill Eidelman of Chicago, Matthew Eidelman of Palatine, Rachel Kornfeld of Southfield and Alysa Kornfeld of Oak Park; great-grandson, Joshua Bocker. She was the wife of the late Irving Levine and grandmother of the late Jeffrey Schwartz. Interment in New York.

STEPHEN R. LEVINE, 52, of Southfield, died Dec. 17. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dee Ann Levine; son, Alexander Levine of Southfield; daughters, Sarah Levine of Southfield, Rebecca Levine of Southfield; mother, Pearl (Babe) Levine of Farmington Hills; brother and sister-in-law, David and Elaine Levine of Memphis, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Peter Tainsh of Ann Arbor; many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Stephen was the loving son of the late, Kenneth Levine. Services were held at the Machpelah Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale followed by intermenty in the cemetery. FREDA GREENBAUM LEVINE, 89, former Detroiter of Beaverton, Ore., died Sept. 12. She had been a bookkeeper/secretary. Mrs. Levine is survived by her daughter, Gloria Faust of Portland, Ore.; son-in-law, William H. Faust of Eugene, Ore.; sister, Sadelle Sutherland of West Bloomfield; brother and sisters-in-law, Maurice and Bea Greenbaum of Great Neck, N.Y., Belle Greenbaum of Southfield; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the beloved wife of the late Martin L. Levine; sister of the late Joseph Greenbaum and the late Gertrude Berlin. Serivces and intermenty in Miami, Fla. ALLAN H. LEVINE, 72, of Richmond, died May 13. Mr. Levine was a clothing sales consultant. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dr. David Kamen of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan and Courtney. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery. ROSALIND LEVINE, 76, of Southfield, died April 8. Mrs. Levine was a uniforms and clothing sales consultant. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Maureen Levine of Farmington Hills, Alan and Julie Levine of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Brian, Melissa, Andrew and Josh; sister, Thelma Sherman of Southfield; brother and sister-in-law, Julian and Rosalind Tugman of Tamarac, Fla. Mrs. Levine was the beloved wife of the late Abe Levine. Interment Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

KENNETH LEVINE, 79, of Farmington Hills, died March 26. He was a World War II veteran who received the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star; he served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Perfection Mosaic Lodge and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Levine; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and DeeAnn Levine of Southfield, David and Elaine Levine of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Peter Tainsh of Ann Arbor; sisters, Nathalie Rosenberg of Southfield, Mildred Levine of Farmington Hills, Gertrude Levine of Farmington Hills; grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca and Alexander Levine, Whitney, Ross and Keith Levine, Katherine and Peter Tainsh. Services were held at Machpelah Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale followed by intermenty in the cemetery. RACHEL LEVINE, 79, of Oak Park, died March 26. She is survived by her husband, Isadore; sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen Levine of Schaumberg, Ill., Stuart and Susan Feigenson Levine of West Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Sheldon Levine of Bloomfield Hills; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Sam Cohen of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Bryan and Carli Levine. Services were held at Clover Hill Park Cemetery Chapel in Birmingham followed by intermenty in the cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. EVELYN SERITA LICHTERMAN, 78, of Southfield, died June 16, 2000. Mrs. Lichterman was a teacher for the New York public schools. She was a life member of Hadassah, a past president of the Residents Council at Menorah House, a 1981 Hadassah Woman of the Year in New York, a member of the Jewish Association for Senior Adults and head of the Youth Alivan for her Hadassah chapter. She was also the editor of the Rockaway Hadassah magazine. Mrs. Lichterman is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Sherrell Najman and Cantor Chaim Najman of Southfield, Suzanne and Dr. Reuven Levy of New York; grandchildren, Yehuda and Dr. Naomi Najman, Professor Paul Franks and Dr. Hindy Najman, James Licht and Dina Najman-Licht, Cantor Danny and ViVi Najman, Dr. Elad and Cindy Levy, Naveh Levy, Guy Levy; four great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Lishansky of New York; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Ed Meyers of New York; sister-in-law, Sylvia Lishansky of New York. MILTON E. LICHTERMAN, 78, of Farmington Hills, died Oct. 24, 1999. Mr. Lichterman was an executive in real estate property management. He was an elected precinct delegate in Farmington Hills for more than 25 years, an active member of the Oakland County Republican Party and a past treasurer of Franklin Knolls Home Owners Association. He was also a past president of Wyndham Place Condominium Association, a member of Franklin Hills Country Club and a member of Temple Beth El. Mr. Lichterman is survived by his wife, Ellen Lichterman; sons and daughter-in-law David Lichterman of Venice, Calif., John and Ellen Lichterman of California; grandchildren Jake and Sophie Lichterman; brother and sister-in-law Howard and Diana Lichterman; sister and brother-in-law Carole and Robert Weisberger of Akron, Ohio. Interment was at Beth El Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Temple Beth El. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

GARY LAWRENCE LICHTMAN, 59, formerly of Farmington Hills of Riverwoods, Ill., died Sept. 4. Mr. Lichtman was the founder and principal of Lichtman and Associates, a food broker organization. He spent 20 years in the coffee industry, serving as region president of Superior Coffee and Foods in Detroit and branch manager of General Foods Corporation (Kraft Foods). He also served as the president of the Greater Detroit Chamber of Commerce Food Industry Council, director of the Michigan Restaurant Association, president of the Gleaners Food Bank and director of the International Foodservice Executives Association. Mr. Lichtman was active in the Illinois Automatic Merchandise Council, the Michigan Distributors and Vendors Association and the Wisconsin Automatic Merchandise Council. While living in Michigan, Mr. Lichtman served on the Farmington School Board for nine years and was president of the Oakland County School Board. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Lichtman; daughters and son-in-law, Deborah Brownstein of Deerfield, Ill., Donna and Alex Gaidamak of Vernon Hills, Ill.; grandchildren, Ashley Brownstein and David Gaidamak; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Naomi Lichtman of West Bloomfield, Robert and Norma Lichtman of Southfield. LILLIAN LICHTENSTEIN, 93, of Southfield, died Aug. 3. Mrs. Lichtenstein was a volunteer at Sinai Hospital. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Sandra Layne of West Bloomfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Leonard Barron of Southfield, Paula and Karl Blair of West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Dr. George and Jo-Ellen Layne, Pamela and Dr. Steve Mischel, Debra Pesamoska, Dr. Marc and Harriett Weiner, Michael and Judy Barron, Kenneth and Mary Barron, Martin Barron, Steven and Karon Blair, Marcia and Barry Fagan, Stuart and Lisa Blair, Jennifer and Michael Hoffman, Scott Silvers; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Weiner of Oak Park, Bessie Lopatin of Oak Park; brother and sister-in-law, Max and Sylvia Resnick of Maryland. JESSIE S. MORRISON, 92, of Coconut Creek, Fla., formerly of Detroit, died Nov. 18, 2000. Miss Morrison was a partner with her brothers in A-I Morrison and Company, a local marketing company where she was active until her retirement.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Jeanne Morrison of Florida; sister, Dora Mann; nieces and nephews.

FARA LITMAN MORRIS, 97, former Detroiter of Palm Beach, Fla., died Oct. 14, 1999. Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughters, Ann Kobacker Herman of Florida, Marilyn A. Rosenfield; granddaughter Robin Ann Kobacker. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Robinson and the late Reuben Rosenfield. Interment was at Clover Hill Park Cemetery. HARRY MORRIS, 88, of Stuart, Fla., died June 11. SYLVIA SHAPIRO, 89, of Southfield, died May 25, 2001. She was an entertainer.
She is survived by her sons, Melvin Saferstein of San Diego, Seymour Saferstein of Oak Park; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Lipson. She was the beloved wife of the late Sol Shapiro; loving mother of the late Harriet Gareaux.
