Passed away on Friday, October 6, 2006 at her home. Age 77 years. Lucy R. Reyes was born on July 1, 1929 in Saginaw to the late Maximo and Margaret Reyes. Lucy was employed at Saginaw Community Hospital retiring in 1988 after 33 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Toni (Jose) Espinosa; three grandchildren, Freddie (Yvette) Dukes, Jose (Priscilla) Espinosa, Marisela Espinosa; nine great-grandchildren, Angelita, Angelo, Mariano, Cecilia, Antonio, Jose Michael, Jose Jr., Santana and Alexander; a sister, Margaret (Javiel) Najar and many nieces and nephews. Lucy was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers, Joseph and Frank Reyes, Paulina Morales and Maria Salinas.
Visitation - Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State), on Sunday, October 8, 2006 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.

Passed away unexpectedly at his home; age 58 years. William Denis Ehlers was born on May 05, 1949 in Bay City, Michigan to William and Doris (Grew) Ehlers. Bill was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, and had been employed by Visiting Nurses Association as a Certified Nurses Assistant. Surviving are his wife, Diane Ehlers of California; his mother, Doris Ehlers Mikek; and many dear cousins and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Ehlers, and his stepfather, Andrew (Hank) Mikek.
Funeral - A Memorial Service Honoring Bill will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2007 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Mark Karls will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation - Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Ken was born April 14, 1934 in Hoyleton, Ill. He married Loretta Spenner on June 17, 1956 in Hoyleton, Ill. She survives him. Prior to his retirement in 1993, Ken was called as a parochial teacher for four years at St. John’s Lutheran in Nashville, Kansas, then for 33 years he taught at St. Paul Lutheran School, Frankenlust. Surviving besides his wife, Loretta are their five children and their spouses, Don and Denise Eickmeyer, Kenosha, WI; Dennis Eickmeyer, Freeland, MI; Kevin and Debbie Eickmeyer, Freeland, MI; Karen and Mark Zimmerman, Marietta, GA; Lori and Cliff Reisig, Kennesaw, GA; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Corey, Tyler, Kelly, Heidi, Grant, Katie, Elliott, Sarah and Andrew; mother, Ruth Eickmeyer, Hoyleton, Ill.; and his brother, Wallace and Nora Dell Eickmeyer, Hoyleton, Ill., also many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ken was predeceased by his father, Fred Eickmeyer, also is father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gus and Regina Spenner.
Funeral and committal services will take place 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Frankenlust. The Rev. Paul D. Theiss will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., then at the church on Sunday where he will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Lavona was called home to her Lord Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 88 years. Lavona was born January 27, 1916 in Mesick, Mich. to the late Clyde and Grace (Drew) Curtis. She was first married to Paul Osborn and he predeceased her on October 28, 1979. She then was married to Walter Eischer and he predeceased her on February 10, 1998. Lavona was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Surviving is one daughter, Janice (Russ) Thompson, Merrill; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters and two sons, Betty Jo Reynold, Patricia A. Cook, Dale C. Osborn, Kenneth P. Osborn, grandson, Michael P. Cook, and a great-grandson, Michael P. Cook II. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at the Cartwright Hospice Residence for the care they gave to Lavona.

Passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 at St. Francis Nursing Home. Age 87 years. Emilie was born February 28, 1918 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Stanimir and Katarina (Gemler) Neshich. She married Nicholas Ergo on October 22, 1936 in LaGrange, Indiana. He predeceased her February 3, 2004 after 67 years of marriage. Emilie was a member of Lake James Property Owners Association. Mrs. Ergo was employed by Michigan Bell as a telephone operator for many years. Mrs. Ergo leaves a daughter, Nicole (Gil) Decker of Saginaw; two grandchildren, Suzanne (John) McFay, Pinehurst, N.C.; Steven C. (Jennifer) Decker, Saginaw; three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Langdon McFay and Steven A. Decker;
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bozidar and George Neshich and her twin sister, Rose Kotch.

Passed away Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Heartland Health Care Center, Bridgeport Twp. Age 88 years. Mr. Faust was born March 2, 1916 in Saginaw, Mich. to the late Jacob and Amalia (Kobobel) Faust. He married Naomi L. Breton on April 29, 1939 in Saginaw. She survives him. Prior to his retirement in 1981, Shorty was employed at Lufkin Rule for 29 years, and then he was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear for 12 years. He enjoyed to bowl, golf, fish, and hunting with his family. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Surviving besides his wife, Naomi, are three sons and their spouses, Ronald (Joyce) Faust, Chesaning, Mich.; Harold (Barbara) Faust, Alanson, Mich.; John (Kathleen) Faust, Petoskey, Mich; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters, Leonard, David, Victor and Jacob Faust, Leona Chiarovano, Rachel Hollifield, and Esther Linville.
Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2004 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2110 Brockway Rd. Rev. Dr. Mark J. Molldrem will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Bill was called home to his Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Age 81 years. William Carl Fehrman was born on May 18, 1924 in Detroit, Mich. to the late William and Nina (McDonagh) Fehrman. Bill was married to Clara K. Fischer on September 6, 1952 in Saginaw, having celebrated 53 years together. Bill served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed at U.S. Graphite, Lufkin Rule, and for 17 years as Custodian for his Church, Holy Cross. Bill’s family and friends will always remember Bill for his sharp sense of humor.
