Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at St. Mary’s of Michigan. Age 57 years. Antonio R. Gonzalez was born on June 13, 1949 to Elias G. and Romana (DeLeon) Gonzalez. He was married to Gloria Sanchez on September 1, 1973 in Saginaw. She survives him. Robert was employed at U.S. Graphite. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed BBQ’ing for the family, wrestling, watching T.V. and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved his pets Freddie and Carley He attended SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. Surviving besides his wife, Gloria are two daughters and a son; Amelia (Tim) Palomarez, Antonio “Tony” (Priscilla) Gonzalez, Jr., Melissa Gonzalez, (special friend Mike), five grandchildren Maricella, Carissa, Baby Tim, Sierra, and Velencia. Also surviving are his mother, Romana Gonzalez; three brothers and six sisters; Elias (Gloria) Gonzalez, Arturo (Vicky) Gonzalez, Lollie (Tito) Velez, Mary Salas, Yolanda Noriega, Orelia Torrez, Irene (Jesse) Ortiz, Richard (Debbie) Gonzalez, and Teresa (Jeff) Landosky. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Elias G. Gonzalez and three special brothers-in-law; John Noriega, Daniel and John Sanchez.
Funeral - Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 2395 S. Outer Drive. Fr. John Mancini, OSFS, will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation - Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter (off State) on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass. A Vigil for the Deceased will take place at the funeral home Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Gonzalez, Manuela A.

Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister went to be with our Lord on Sunday morning November 28, 2004. She passed away at St. Francis Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Age 91 years. Manuela Almaguer was born March 8, 1913 in San Isidro, Nuevo Leon, Mexico the daughter of the late Tranquilino and Francisca Almaguer. She was married to Jose Maria Gonzalez on October 3, 1928 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Saginaw. He predeceased her on October 27, 1976. Manuela was a homemaker caring for her family. She was previously employed at St. Francis Home when it was located on Janes St., where she cared for the elderly. Manuela also would visit with the sick at various hospitals. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years as well as The Cursillo, Damas De Guadalupe, and the Charismatic Prayer Group.
Surviving are eight sons and three daughters, Benjamin of Saginaw, Frank (Helen) of Bay City, Sister Dorena, O.P. of Saginaw, Louis (Sharon) of Tenn., Alicia Robison of Saginaw, Benny (Linda) of Florida, Rafael of Saginaw, Ramiro (Nancy) of Saginaw, Raul (Herminia) of Flint, Maria Elena (Tony) Moreno of Saginaw, Jesse (Susie) of Ohio. Two special people in her life, Lucy Craig and Delphine Nowak and many other special loved ones. She also leaves 40 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren, brother, Eusebio Cantu, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Jose Gonzalez, two brothers, Trinidad and Pablo Esquibel, and two grandsons, Rafael and Stephen Gonzalez.
Mass of Christian burial will take place 9:00 am Saturday, December 4, 2004 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. Sixth St. Fr. Ray Trejo and Fr. Joseph Schabel will co-officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday and Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Manuela will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place Thursday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 65 Years. Richard L. Gross was born on April 15, 1942 to the late Maurice and Mary (Yaklin) Gross. He married Rose (Thompson) Piotrowski on October 8, 1966 in Saginaw, she survives him. Richard was a salesman all his life. Surviving besides his wife, Rose are five sons and one daughter, Richard H. (Pat) Gross, Henderson, NV; Scott Gross, Greg Gross, Aaron Gross, David Gross and Michelle Gross, Saginaw; and Ervin (Phyllis) Piotrowski, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Samantha, Eric, Ervin, Amber, Brayden and Cole; one great-granddaughter, Veronica; two brothers, Tom (Sharon) Gross; Jim (Vicki) Gross; five sisters, Ellen (Mel) Terry; Joyce (Vince) Birchmeier; Ann (Ron) Laux; Linda (Stan) Kuchar; and Karen (Bill) Mahoney. Besides his parents Richard was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Gross. The family would like to mention a special thanks to Penny Gross and Justin Lyons.

Loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home to his Lord Wednesday, September 1, 2004 from the Aleda E. Lutz, VA Medical Center. Age 81 years. Arno was born May 9, 1923 in Saginaw to the late Henry W.F. Goetz and Hermine M. (Mueller) Goetz. He married Lois E. Steltzriede on May 25, 1946 in Saginaw, where she survives him. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post #22. Prior to his retirement, he was employed through General Motors for 34 years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and its Choir, Peacemen Choral Group, and also enjoyed working with the special people at church. Arno also was a member at Germania Town & Country Club, serving on the Board of Directors and singing in its Chorus. Surviving besides his wife, Lois are their three children and spouses, Connie and Thomas Johnson, Clare; Sue and Floyd Kisser, Jr., Saginaw; Mark and Mary Goetz, Naperville, IL; six grandchildren, Kris, Tracy, Michael, Jason, Matthew and Michael; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, June Goetz, Saginaw. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister, John Goetz, H. Winfred Goetz, and Margareta Helpap.
Funeral and committal services will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Ave. The Rev. Robert M. Eggers will officiate. Cremation will follow with burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Passed away Friday, December 5, 2003 at his residence. Age 88 years. Ernest was born March 16, 1915 in Ingersoll Twp., Midland Co. to the late Wilson and Flora (Warren) Goold. He married Meriam Broderick on March 7, 1937 in Bay City, MI. She survives him after 66 years of marriage. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Goold owned and operated the E. W. Goold Construction Co. from 1945 to 1979. He was a member of Swan Valley Church of the Nazarene. Surviving besides his wife, Meriam, are one daughter and one son, Marylin (Leo) Barnekow, Saginaw; Ernest (Sandy) Goold, Beaverton; son-in-law, Douglas Lange, Hale; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers, Iva Eisinger, Clio; Marjorie Lobell, Saginaw; Robert Goold, Calif.; Jay Goold, Calif.; many nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by his daughter, Delores Lange, also four sisters and three brothers, Ione Fox, Goldie Reynolds, James Goold, Wilson Goold Jr, Celia McBratnie, Viola Banks and William Goold.

Passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at his home. Age 57 years. Clarence was born May 21, 1948 in Saginaw to the late William and Maxine (Reynolds) Graham. Prior to his retirement in 1996, he worked for over thirty years at Eaton Corp. Surviving are his three children, Marcy (Michael) Beeler, Westland, Mich.; Wendy Graham (Brian Anderson), Saginaw; Ryan (Crystal) Graham, St. Charles; two brothers, Brian Graham, Saginaw; Thomas (Pam) Graham, Saginaw; two nieces, Mindy (Trevor) Tuck, Saginaw; Katie Graham, Saginaw.

Passed away Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the Martin Luther Memorial Home. Age 77 years. Florence Clay was born April 25, 1926 in Saginaw to the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Duma) Clay. She was married to Gerald J. Grauf on April 16, 1960 and he predeceased her on February 13, 1998. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughter and her husband, Christine (Frederick) Rogel, Saginaw; granddaughter, Amy Goodwin, TN; two great-grandchildren, Eva and Adam Goodwin, TN; two sisters, Luella Gray, Saginaw; Mary (Frank) Masica, Saginaw; one brother, John Clay, Saginaw.
