Saginaw, Michigan.
Forever young, forever beautiful, forever loved, Alison passed away Wednesday, February 3, 1999 due to injuries received in an accident. Age 32 years. The daughter of Richard and Jean Evans was born January 31, 1967 in Dunoon, Argyleshire, Scotland. She was employed by Houlihan's Ole Tyme Road House. She was an avid bowler and softball player. Surviving besides her parents are two children, Joshua and Chaz Leath; a sister and brother, Valerie Evans-Henderson and Richard John Evans, both of Saginaw; two nieces and a nephew, Britney, Amanda and Richard Evans; her grandmother, June Towne, Saginaw; aunt and uncles, Jim Evans, Sue Carpenter, Wayne Evans, Chet Evans and Sye Towne; several cousins and other relatives. Her grandfather, Victor Charles Evans, and uncle, George Carl Evans, and aunt, Sandra Jean Evans have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 1999 at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. M. Samuel Sherouse will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a Trust Fund to be set up for her children, Joshua and Chaz. A special thank you to the staff at Houlihan's, Tracy, Lisa, Chris, Anne and Patti.

Gibson, Mr. Albert J.,
Birch Run, Michigan.
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away Thursday, February 4, 1999 at Saint Mary's hospital following a lengthy illness.
Age 70 years. He was born January 13, 1929 in Flint, Michigan. Al married Dolores (Moon) Katz on September 4, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan. She survives him. He was a member of the Teamsters Union for 34 years and was employed at Flint Central Grocery until his retirement in 1979. Al was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Birch Run, Michigan. He enjoyed woodworking, leisure time at his cottage in Lupton, Michigan and his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Dolores are five sons and one daughter, Mike and Pam Gibson, Bridgeport; Steve and Jodie Gibson, Jim and Karen Gibson, Chris and Michelle Gibson, Matt and Tracey Gibson, all of Birch Run; Terese and Jim Hutchinson, Vassar; 15 grandchildren, Kathy, Jon, Dan, Julie, Jill, Jennifer, Pat, Tim, Josh, Jessica, Amanda, Greg, Kristen, Marissa and Savanah; three great-grandchildren, Renae, Erica and Travis; one sister and one brother, Eleanor Szott, Danville, Illinois; Harry and Joan Gibson, Bridgeport; many brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Rupert and Mabel (Taylor) Gibson, and by two brothers and one sister, William, John and Hazel Gibson. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 1999 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Birch Run, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Mason L. Vaughn will officiate with burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Birch Run on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Family and friends will pray the Rosary 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Birch Run Fire Fighters Association, St. Jude Children's Hospital or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Passed away Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 36 years. She was born July 14, 1962 in Saginaw. Surviving are seven children, LaTrea Riley, Cashari, Kobi, Terrance, D'vante, Jawan and Ashawndre Pendleton; her mother, Deborah Houston; two sisters, Darlene and Sherri Houston; one brother, Terran Houston; two aunts, Rosemary Ruth and Hazel Gipson and a very special aunt Yvonne Helton who raised her; three uncles, Rev. Thorner L. Pruitt, Marshall Houston and Charles Pruitt; a special niece, Vontysha Houston; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Diane was predeceased by her grandparents, Melvin and Carrie Pruitt and one aunt, Lillie Pruitt. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 1999 at Evans-Smith Funeral Home, 630 N. Jefferson. Rev. Thorner L. Pruitt will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Rodriguez, Mrs. Margarita,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Passed away Wednesday evening, February 3, 1999, at the Wilcox Health Care Center in Alma, Michigan. Age 86 years. Margarita was born May 19, 1912 in Elmendorf, Texas. She was married to Fermin M. Rodriguez in 1934 in Eagle Pass, Texas. They had lived in Michigan since 1954, and he predeceased her in 1970. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Damas de Guadalupe of Saginaw. Surviving are six children and their spouses, Mike and Rosie Rodriguez, Saginaw; Maria Clark, Beaverton; Antonio C. and Carmen Rodriguez, Saginaw; Dora and Rodolfo Rodriguez, San Antonio, Texas; Juan and Janie Rodriguez, Saginaw; Ms. Yolanda Duranso, Burt, Michigan; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Urbana Cortez and Mary Saint, both of San Antonio, Texas. Margarita was predeceased by her son, Fermin Rodriguez Jr. in 1955, by her mother, Juana D. Consemiu in 1969, and by her son-in-law, Benjamin R. Duranso in 1997. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Dan Anholzer OFM Cap will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday where they may meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday for a wake service.
