Pete left to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, February 10, 1999 at his home with his family at his side. Age 81 years. The son of the late Casper and Clara (Freihaut) Steyer was born March 25, 1917 in Munger, Michigan living in Bay County all of his life. He was married to the former Ruth Ann Krauss in Bay City on June 25, 1949, she survives him. They would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this coming June. Mr. Steyer retired from the Prestolite Corp. in 1981 after 34 years of service where he was the Safety Director and Union Steward. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, the U.A.W. Retirees C.A.P. Council and National Council of Senior Citizens. Surviving besides his wife Ruth Ann, he leaves his children and their spouses: Ruth and David Justa and their son Jonathan; Peter and Sharon Steyer, Jr. and their daughters Amanda and Shannon; James and Leslie Steyer and their daughters Stephanie and Kristin all of Bay City; Gloria Nelson of Columbus, IN and her children and grandchildren: Pam (Brent) Overfelt, Michael Nelson, Marsha Bennett and her son Kyle; Tom (Pam) Nelson and their daughter Brittany. He was predeceased by two brothers: Casper and John Steyer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 1999 at Holy Trinity Church by Rev. Fr. Michael G. Dunckel with entombment in Floral Gardens Mausoleum. A Parish Wake Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Bay Area. Beloved brother and uncle passed away Friday, February 12, 1999. Age 88 years. The son of the late Frank and Mary (Kaczmarek) Wesolek, he was born October 21, 1910 in Saginaw, Michigan. Frank served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was employed at Saginaw Transmission as an Inspector and was a member of the U.A.W. Frank was a member of SS. Simon & Jude Catholic Church and a past member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enjoying woodcarving, especially boats. Surviving are one brother, Clement Wesolek, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Rosalie Wilson and her friend Art Bierlein, Saginaw. Frank was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers, Helen, Margaret, Theresa, Tillie, Al, Mike, William and Walter. Frank's family extends a special thanks to Sister Jane Marie Lebiedzinski, C.S.S.F., Mrs. Barbara Shaffran, and the entire staff of St. Francis Home for all the special love and care offered. Passed away, Tuesday, February 9, 1999, at Veterans Medical Center in Battle Creek, Michigan. Age 48 years. The son of Mary Frances and the late Tom Camel was born on February 7, 1951 in Saginaw, Mich. He attended Saginaw High School. Rudolph was a Veteran of the United States Army. Surviving besides his mother, Mary Frances Camel, are three brothers, Charles (Denise) Camel, Minister Larry (Shirley J.) Camel, both of Saginaw, Mich. and Dennis L. Camel of Grand Rapids, Mich.; an uncle, Rev. Joe (Rosie) Glenn; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend Lemual Smith. Age 65 years. Died Thursday, February 11, 1999, in Naples. She was a former resident of Saginaw from 1956 until 1988. She had been active in many organizations before moving to Naples. She is survived by her husband, Mark R. McCabe, a former General Manager of the Saginaw Delphi Division of GM from 1984-1988. Also survived by five children, Deborah McCabe of Chicago, Ill.; Michael McCabe of Angel Fire, New Mexico; Sheila Dunn of Lincolnshire, Ill.; Deidre McCabe of Fort Collins, Colo. and Paul McCabe of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Thomas Stark of Riverhead, L.I., New York; Richard Stark, Groton, Conn. and William Stark, Hampton Bays, L.I., New York and seven grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Naples on Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday evening, February 11, 1999, at her home. Age 75 years. Helen Irean Wagner was born February 4, 1924 in Indiana, the daughter of the late Edward and Sylvia (Newcomer) Wagner. She married Robert J. McKeage August 23, 1945; he predeceased her in 1981. She sold Stanley Home Products for many years. She was a member of Nelson United Methodist Church, Hemlock. She was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed roses. Surviving are one daughter, one son and their spouses, Cindy and Wayne Barber, Donald and Maria McKeage; five grandchildren, Susie, James, Samantha, Robert and Melanie; one great-granddaughter, Katelyn; two sisters and one brother and their spouses, Pauline and Warren Holmes, Charles and Billie Wagner and Geneva and Don Huse, all of Indiana; one brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Donald and Jennie McKeage, Betty and Robert Guziak, Vera and Max Rusher; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, James and Edward, one sister, Opal Paddock, one brother, James Wagner and one brother-in-law, Kenneth McKeage.
