Passed away Tuesday, February 9, 1999, in Chicago. The beloved daughter of the late Julian and Crecenciana (Hernandez) Belman passed away Tuesday, February 9, 1999, in Chicago, Ill. after a lingering illness. She was born in Pueblo Nuevo, Guanajuato, Mexico. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Damas of Guadalupe for many years. Surviving are her children, Joseph (Juanita), Edmund (Dora), Mary Smith (late David), Dolores (Richard) Negrete; one sister, one brother; daughters-in-law, Virginia and Lynette Acosta; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Timoteo, her children Albert, Socorro, Ruben and Henry, three grandsons and one granddaughter. A wake service took place Friday, February 12, 1999 at the John Rago Memorial Chapel in Chicago. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Monday, February 15, 1999. A committal service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Fr. Daniel Anholzer, OFM Cap. will officiate.

Dr. William T. Hyslop died on February 13, 1999, at his winter home in Allegan, Michigan. William was born in LaValle, Wisconsin, January 7, 1913, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Louisville Schools of Medicine. From 1938 to 1952, Dr. Hyslop directed the out-patient department of the Traverse City State Hospital. He moved to Saginaw, Michigan in 1952 to establish and run the Tri-County Adult Mental Health Clinic. He retired in 1972 to his summer home in Old Mission, Michigan. In 1939 William married Martha Prescott of Old Mission. They are the parents of four children, Robert S. Hyslop of Portland, Oregon; William A. Hyslop of Kimberly, Wisconsin; John Morton Hyslop of Allegan, Michigan and Mary Hyslop Jones of Allegan, Michigan. William and Martha have three grandchildren, Brian Hyslop, Tracey Hyslop and Erin Jones. Services will be held this summer in Old Mission, Michigan. Passed away Friday, February 12, 1999, at Gratiot Community Hospital. Age 70 years. William was born November 3, 1928, in Saginaw, the son of John and Lillian Juskialas. He married Donna M. Clare on September 12, 1956. She survives him. He had been employed as a millwright through local #1102, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of Breckenridge Masonic Lodge 295 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Donna; three daughters, Carol and Dennis Emmendorfer, Roxann and Jon Yankie and Rebecca and Kenneth Kruger; seven grandchildren, Heather Sherman, William Garchow, Rachel Krueger, Michael Krueger, Sara Krueger, Cory Niederstadt and Tyler Niederstadt; great-grandson, Brandon Sherman II; four sisters, Evelyn and Larry Zolton, Kathy and Rodney Volk, Emma and John Weadock and Marjorie and Harvey Haubenstricker. He was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Juskialas. There will be a memorial service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 1999, at Breckenridge United Methodist Church. Dimitra Kondogiani, beloved mother, devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away early Saturday, February 13, 1999 at the James E. Cartwright Care Center after a brief illness. Age 92 years. Dimitra Georgevich was born November 12, 1906 in Macedonia. She married Thomas Kondogiani October 26, 1926; he predeceased her in October of 1970. She moved to Saginaw in 1979 from Redford Township. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and its Philoptochos Society. Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Nick and Shirley Kondogan, Estero, Florida; Marge and Gus Paron, Saginaw; Michael and Kathy Kondogiani, Livonia; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by one grandson Jeffery Kondogan, her parents and three sisters. Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4970 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Fr. Mark Emroll will officiate.
