Passed away Monday, February 22, 1999. Age 62 years. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Evans- Smith Funeral Home.

Hill, Donn J.,
Daytona Beach, Florida, Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan.
Passed away suddenly Sunday, February 21, 1999. Age 50 years. He married Heidi Hill, she survives him. The son of Donald E. Hill and the late Margaret (Pukancek) Hill was born February 21, 1949. Funeral service will take place Friday, February 26, 1999 at Bellevue-Cedar Hill Funeral Home in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Rodriguez, Anastacio (Tacho) Sr.,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Passed away Tuesday, February 23, 1999, at his home. Age 82 years. Anastacio was born August 8, 1916 in Bastrop, Texas. He married Isidra Gonzalez on July 12, 1947. She predeceased him on September 9, 1990. He had been employed by Grey Iron and was a member of Local #668, retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters and two sons, Maria Elida and Martin Ortega, Juanita Castillo, Ramon (Mingo) and Beatrice Rodriguez, Noel and Edna Rodriguez; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, both in Saginaw and Texas. He was preceded in death by one son Anastacio Rodriguez Jr, one grandchild and one great-grandchild and one sister. Funeral service will take place 12:00 noon Thursday at the Cederberg Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Daniel Anholzer, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Lewis, Maudie,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother passed away Monday, February 22, 1999, at her home. Age 62 years. The daughter of Ethel B. Hare and the late Floyd Hare was born July 10, 1937 in Caldwell, Ark. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Arthur Lewis, Seattle, Wash.; Michael, Mark and Shirley Lewis, all of Saginaw; three brothers and four sisters, Lewis G. (Janet) Hare and Bobby Hare, California; LaFraniceian (Sims) Layton, Florida (Cager) Pruitt, Mary, Letha and Wilbert (Debra) Hare, all of Saginaw; four grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 1, 1999 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 810 Cathay. Rev. Thomas J. London will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Evans-Smith Funeral Home, 630 N. Jefferson from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday.

Miller, Mr. Stanley R.,
Passed away Monday, February 22, 1999 at Heartland Healthcare Center.
Age 82 years. He was born April 1, 1916 in Boston, Massachusetts coming to Saginaw in 1930. Stanley married Alicia Tomkowiak on April 26, 1941. She survives him. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II from May of 1941 to September of 1945 and was a member of American Legion Post #225 in Lansing and V.F.W. Post #2622 in Saginaw. Stanley had been employed at Brinks Armored Trucks as a messenger-manager for 26 years until his retirement December 21, 1978. He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and a charter member of Maple Hills Golf Club. Surviving besides his wife Alicia are one son, one daughter, and their spouses, Jeffrey and Carolyn Miller, Saginaw; Andrea and Eugene Thibodeau, White Lake, Michigan; six grandchildren, Dennis and Lisa Miller, Michael Miller, Patrick and Carrie Miller, David Miller, Stephen Bush and Rebecca and Hemant Dandekar; two great- grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah; several nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by a sister, Angelia Lowry. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 1999 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge will officiate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum where military services will be conducted by V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. There will be a Prayer Service 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Casimir Catholic Church or the charity of their choice.

Murphy, Catherine R. (Lorencz),
St. Charles, Michigan.
Passed away Monday, February 22, 1999 at Saint Mary's hospital, Saginaw. Age 70 years. She was born December 11, 1928, the daughter of Lester and Agnes (Azelton) Perry. She had resided most of her life in the St. Charles and Chesaning area. She was married to Ronald Murphy; he predeceased her in 1982. She was a homemaker. Surviving are four sons and two daughters, William and Helen Lorencz of Oakley; John and Diane Lorencz of Oakley; Jim and Tracy Lorencz of Oakley, Thomas Lorencz of Oakley; Kathy Kulhanek of Saginaw; Christine and Randy Eichorn of Oakley; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. One brother, T.J. Perry, one sister, Peg Burgess, and her parents predeceased her. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Walker- Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Rev. Elliott Aspinwall will officiate with burial in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Walker- Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Saginaw, Michigan.
Passed away Tuesday, February 23, 1999 at Saint Mary's hospital.
Age 83 years. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 1999, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Rev. Robert H. Byrne will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday where they will meet at 8:00 p.m. for a prayer service. Friends may then call at the church from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the Funeral Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the charity of their choice.
