Passed away on Monday, April 24, 2000 at her residence, following a lengthy illness. Age 17 years. She was born May 8, 1982 in Flint, Mich. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a student at the Millet Learning Center. Surviving is a very special and caring aunt Billie A. Norman; three sisters, LaTasha, April and Dee- Dee Norman; two brothers, Kenneth and Terrance (Nicole Brown) Norman; one niece, T'Alyha Norman and one nephew, Quavion Woods. She also leaves to cherish her memory her classmates and teachers at the Millet Learning Center and special friends who were by her side at her time of need: Rona Batts, Deb Parker, Angela Duncan and Luella Haulcy; also many other relatives. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1114 N. 6th Street. Rev. Marvin T. Smith will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Age 56 years. Carol Ann Beeckman was born April 19, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of St. Andrew High School Class of 1962. Carol was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bay City and dearly loved her Lord, family and her grandson, Jacob. Carol also enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are two sons, Jason and Julie Wallace, Ann Arbor; Chris and Colleen Wallace, St. Louis, Missouri; her grandson, Jacob Wallace; Carol's parents, Corana (Dubey) and Leslie Beeckman Sr., Saginaw; four brothers and one sister, Leslie Beeckman Jr., Saginaw; Ronald and Barbara Beeckman, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Robert A. and Jean Beeckman, Saginaw; Edward and Ginny Beeckman, Piqua, Ohio; Julie and Bruce Perry, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2000 at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Patrick C. O'Connor will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center-Cooper. Age 68 years. He was born May 12, 1931 in Harlan, Kentucky, the son of the late James Edgar and Allie Bell (Ayers) Sharp. He retired from General Motors Corporation in 1985 after many years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He married Lois Jenkins August 16, 1961; she survives him. He also leaves two sons, three daughters and their spouses, Randy and Kim Ensing, Kalkaska; John and Dorothy Jueckstock, Louisiana; Brenda and Wayne Nalevayko Jr., Harrison; Geraldine and Allen Monroe, Merrill; Joyce and Terry Monroe, Midland; six grandchildren, Corey and his wife Becky Hartung, Melissa Ensing, Becky Nalevayko, Wayne Nalevayko III, April Monroe and Kendra Monroe; one great- grandson, Andrew Nalley; one brother, Virgil Sharp and one sister, Ruth Troxell; many nieces and nephews; his special friends, Roland and Evie Brink. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sons, Ronald (Terry) and Jimmy Sharp, one granddaughter, Danielle Monroe, his twin brother, Paul Henry Sharp and three sisters, Margaret Simpson, Ida Shaffer and Viola Cody. Passed away Thursday, April 27, 2000 at Saint Mary's hospital, Saginaw. Age 79 years. He was born on December 10, 1920 in Toronto, Canada and came to the Detroit area as a child. He graduated from Farmington High School and married the former Doris Dickerson on January 31, 1942. He served in the United States Army during World War II and later during the Korean Conflict. He was a printer by trade and first worked at The Detroit Times and later, until his retirement, at The Saginaw News. The Burnhams moved to Caro in 1960 and have lived there since. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Caro. He is survived by his wife, Doris Burnham, two sons, two daughters and their spouses, Robert and Hattie Burnham, Dearborn Heights; James Burnham, Othello, Washington; Helen and Daniel Corradi, Caro; Susan and Reggie Courliss, Petoskey; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Ross and Bob Burnham and two sisters, Vera Drugan and Ruth Fuxa. The funeral will be held at First Baptist Church of Caro on Saturday, April 29, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ronald C. Wigand, officiating. Burial will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery.
