Passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at his home. Age 57 years. The son of Cecelia (Wozniak) Krause and the late Peter Krause was born March 6, 1943 in Saginaw. He was a graduate of SS. Peter & Paul High School Class of 1962. He married Mary Young in September of 1968; she survives him. He was employed by Grey Iron Foundry from 1969 until retiring in 1994. He was a Cub Master for Cub Scout Pack #3224 and Boy Scouts Pack #324. He served with the U.S. Army from 1964 through 1968. Surviving besides his wife and mother are two sons, Mark and Brad Krause; a daughter and son- in-law, Christine and Christopher Hutchinson; two grandsons, Christopher and Robert Hutchinson, all of Saginaw; two brothers and their wives, Loren and Trina Krause, Midland; Leon and Vivian Krause, Grand Rapids; two sisters, Shelby Brethauer and her husband Robert, Centerline, Mich.; Sharon Schoenow, Saginaw; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Case Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday. Passed away Sunday, April 9, 2000 at their home. Raymond was born November 19, 1938 in Sebewaing. Colleen was born August 4, 1951 and Jeffry T. Beeckman was born February 19, 1977, both in Saginaw. Ray married Colleen on December 28, 1986. Ray was a member of St. Andrew Church and Colleen was a member of Ames United Methodist Church. They both belonged to L.O.O.M. #82. Ray leaves six children, Stephanie Avery, Jeffrey and Linda Avery, Kathryn Shields, Eric and Cassie Avery, Victoria Avery, Amy Avery and fiance, Kenneth Soboda; his mother, Frances Avery; brothers and sisters, Alfred and Carolyn Avery, Harold and Dorothy Avery Jr., Rosemary and Richard Findlay; sister-in-law, Emelyn Avery. His father, Harold Avery Sr. and one brother, Kenneth Avery, predeceased him. Colleen leaves one son, Michael and April Beeckman; her mother, Frances (Penny) Averill; two sisters and one brother, Carole and Jesse Hernandez, Kathy and Wayne Easterling, Don and Sue Averill; many grandchildren all very special and many nieces and nephews. Her father, Donald Averill and a special niece, Rebecca Easterling, both predeceased her. Jeff leaves his brother and sister- in-law, Michael and April Beeckman; his father, Edward Beeckman; his stepmother, Virginia Beeckman; two step-brothers, Joseph and Joshua Bialecki; many aunts, uncles and cousins, one niece and one nephew; many friends including Lorrie Minnick and Norma Green. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Church. Rev. Fr. Donald Christensen will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday at St. Andrew Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service will take place 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the family.

Passed away Sunday, April 9, 2000 at her home after a brief illness. Age 96 years. Beatrice C. Warner was born January 21, 1904 in Hemlock, the daughter of the late Guy and Eva (Watson) Warner. She married Alfred L. Glasby in April of 1927; he predeceased her in 1957. She was a member of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Glasby was an avid sports fan, especially of the Detroit Tigers. She was computer literate and loved spending time on the internet. She wintered in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she enjoyed dancing with her friends. She was an avid gardener and Yahtzee champion. She reached her goal of living to the year 2000. Surviving are two daughters and one son, Joyce Butler, Saginaw; Greta Stedman, Burt; Alfred L. Glasby and his wife Sandy, Gaylord; 14 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; 20 great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Watson (June) Warner. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Watson Warner, one sister, Evelyn Glick and her step- father, Earl Glasby. Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 409 Adams Street, where friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Passed away suddenly Saturday, April 8, 2000, at his home. Age 70 years. The son of the late Richard E. and Louise (Sumpter) Coughlin was born March 29, 1930 in Boston, Mass. He married Frances M. Pohlman October 6, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Saginaw. She survives him. He served with the U.S. Army and was employed as a Car Salesman with Martin's, Draper's and other dealerships for over 40 years. He was a member of the Chevrolet Legion of Leaders for many years and a member of the U.C.T. since 1954. He was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He was an avid Boston Celtics fan, golfer and sports fan. Surviving besides his wife are five children and their spouses, Christine and Dennis Smigiel, Saginaw; Mary McDonald, Saginaw; Monica and David Seidenzahl, Wauconda, Illinois; Maureen Spear, Hemlock; Shawn and Jenean Coughlin, Saginaw; nine grandchildren, Christy, Ryan, Kelli McDonald; Ashley and Rachel Spear; Jonathan and Jason Seidenzahl; Carlee and Benjamin Coughlin; his mother-in-law, Burnetta Pohlman, Saginaw; three brothers, one sister, Richard Coughlin, Massachusetts; George Coughlin, Colorado; Paul Coughlin, Patricia Blazin, both of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Age 86 years. Mary Gaffney was born on May 2, 1913 in Chicago. She married Thomas Reed, who preceded her in death. She was then married to Richard Clyde Shimer who also preceded her in death. Mary was employed as a hostess with the Germania Club of Saginaw. She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church. Surviving are one daughter and one son, Nancy Shepard and Robert Reed and his wife Jackie, all of Saginaw; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by a son, Thomas E. Reed. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at St. Helen Catholic Church. Interment will follow later in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
