Karl Edward McNulty Sr.
Services for Karl McNulty, 67, of Canton were held Aug. 31 at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church with the Rev. C. Richard Kelly officiating.
Mr. McNulty was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Detroit and died Aug. 20 in Superior Township. He was a retired mill wright for General Motors. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Mr. McNulty was preceded in death by his son, Keith McNulty.
Survivors include wife, Gurvis McNulty; sons, Richard McNulty, Michael (Mary) McNulty, Karl McNulty Jr.; daughter, Mary Margaret Harms; brother, John McNulty; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by McCabe Funeral Home Canton Chapel.

Rose Krokosky
Services for Rose Krokosky, 87, of Plymouth were held Aug. 17 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lazar officiating. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. Krokosky was born April 12, 1915 in Ella Hollow, Pa. and died Aug. 14 in Plymouth. She was employed as a custodian until retirement.
Mrs. Krokosky was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
Survivors include daughter, Sharon (Michael) Kania of Plymouth; son, John (Sue) Krokosky of Howell; sister, Ann Bogusky; grandsons, Glenn Kania, John Krokosky and Kevin Krokosky; granddaughter, Deborah Broyles; and great-granddaughter, Shelby Kania.

Harlyn E. Gettess
Private services for Harlyn Gettess, 90, of Canton will be held.
Mrs. Gettess was born Feb. 27, 1912 in Green Bay, Wis. and died Aug. 21 in Livonia. She was a homemaker. She came to the Canton community in 1982 from Detroit. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth and the D.A.R. in Grosse Pointe. She loved to garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt.
Survivors include children, Mary (David) Mandeville of Canton and Lee (Tammy) Gettess of Ariz.; grandchildren, Keri (Chris) Heath of Commerce Township, Kelly Mandeville of Canton, and Brooke Gettess of Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Hailee and Brett; and nephew, John Marshall of Ariz.

Charles J. Pikaitis
Services for Charles Pikaitis, 60, of Plymouth, were held Aug. 27 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with the Rev. Doc Ortman officiating. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mr. Pikaitis was born Dec. 15, 1941 in Hamtramck and died Aug. 23 in Livonia. He was a painter for Ford Motor Company for 13 years. He had been married for 39 years. He came to the Plymouth community in 1976 from Redford Township. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church for 26 years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, football, and especially his No. 1 team, the Detroit Red Wings.
Survivors include wife, Jacqueline Pikaitis of Plymouth; son, Joseph Pikaitis of Ann Arbor; and daughter, Kimberly Potter of Livonia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 21311 Civic Center Drive, Southfield, MI 48076 or to the family.

Victor L. Norwood
Services for Victor Norwood, 59, of Dundee, were held Sept. 5 at Vermeulen Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Byran officiating.
Mr. Norwood was born July 30, 1943 in Bessemer, Ala., and died Sept. 2 in Superior Township. He was employed as a cook.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Welch Norwood.
Survivors include wife, Caroline O. Norwood of Dundee; son, D. Mark (Karen) Merchant of Canton; granddaughter, Jennifer Dunn; grandson, Bradley Merchant; mother, Essie Sitz of Bessemer, Ala.; and brother, Barry Norwood of Farmington Hills.

Audrey P. Pagliaroni
Services for Audrey Pagliaroni, 80, of Livonia will be held graveside at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 at the Athens Cemetery in Athens, Wisc.
Mrs. Pagliaroni has lived for the past 50 years in Kenosha, Wisc. She was a member of St. Mary Lutheran Church in Kenosha. After graduating from Wausau High School in 1940, she worked for the Government Employment Office during the 1940s. She was a co-owner with her husband, George, of "George's Bar" in Kenosha from 1952 until 1972. She also worked for the American Motors Company in the employment office for 10 years.
Mrs. Pagliaroni was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Nimmerguth; and her husband, Geno Pagliaroni.
Survivors include son, Gary (Linda) Nimmerguth of Plymouth; grandchildren, Heather and Ryan Nimmerguth; and brother, Earl Prochnow of Medford, Wisc.

Robert Oliver Jackson
Robert Jackson, 79, of Plymouth died on Aug. 20 in Plymouth. He was born April 23, 1923 in Newfolden, Minn. He lived in Plymouth for 34 years, previously from Redford Township. He was married for 54 years. He graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a World War II pilot in the Army Air Corp. He flew over India, Burma and China. He retired from Calif.; sister, Phyllis Pattison of Camarillo, Calif.; grandsons, Nathaniel Jackson and Hans Jackson; and granddaughters, Rebekka Jackson and Katherine Jackson.

Charles A. Bonnici
Services for Charles Bonnici, 84, of Canton were held Aug. 27 at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church with the Rev. C. Richard Kelly officiating. Burial was at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
Mr. Bonnici was born Aug. 2, 1918 in Malta and died Aug. 23 in Westland. He worked in maintenance for Ford Motor Company.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert J. Bonnici.
Survivors include wife, Rita M. Bonnici of Canton; daughters, Linda M. (Ernest) Hampton of Canton, Lorraine A. (Fernando) Rodriguez of Canton, and Carol M. (George) Emmett of Canton; son, Raymond C. (Mary) Bonnici of Riverview; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Mildred G. Dimanoff
Mildred G. Dimanoff, 84, of Rochester Hills (formerly of Plymouth) died Aug. 25, 2002. She was a lifetime member of Order of the Eastern Star, Dearborn Chapter. She formerly lived in Dearborn for 20 years.
Mrs. Dimanoff was preceded in death by Loretta White.
Survivors include husband, Stanley Dimanoff; daughter, Anita (James) Karner; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Jeffrey Donald Weigand
Services for Jeffrey Weigand, 28, of Warren (formerly of Canton) were held Aug. 9 at St. Michael Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jerry Yarnell and the Rev. Drex Morton officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
Mr. Weigand was born Nov. 3, 1973, in Livonia and died Aug. 5 in Warren. He was a sound and lighting engineer for Bandayd International in Sterling Heights. He came to the Warren community in 1998 from Canton. He was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in Canton. He liked to travel, his work and enjoyed the theater. He had a great interest in other cultures around the world. He graduated from Plymouth-Salem High School in 1992 and then he studied political science and international relations at Wayne State University. He was a loving son, brother, nephew and friend.
Survivors include parents, Donald (Carol) Weigand of Canton; sisters, Jennifer and Krista Weigand of Canton; grandparents, Leonore Weigand of Plymouth and Julia Szajnecki of Canton; aunts and uncles, Laureen (Joseph) Grosse of Harrison Township, Rose (Pat) Houle of Plymouth and Robert Weigand of Westland; several cousins, and many loving friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church or Angela Hospice.

John G. Kurliak
Services for John Kurliak, 39, of Canton were held Aug. 29 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Mr. Kurliak was born Feb. 1, 1963, in Garden City and died Aug. 25 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor. He worked as a tool maker in manufacturing.
Survivors include wife, Deborah M.; son, John G. II; daughter, Staci A.; mother Jacqueline Kurliak; two brothers; and one sister.

Glen Walter Thomas
Services for Glen Thomas, 83, of Canton were held Aug. 31 at L. J. Griffin Funeral Home.
Mr. Thomas was born April 25, 1919, in Hatisburg, Miss., and died Aug. 29 in Canton. He was a test driver for the automotive industry.
Survivors include son, Michael Glen (Rosemary) Thomas; daughters, Gail (Lee) Thomas-Decker, Cheryl (Bub) Spragg, and Sandra (Jesse) Gaddis; three sisters; two brothers; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

William O. Jehle
Services for William Jehle, 86, of Canton were held Aug. 31 at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home.
Mr. Jehle was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Detroit and died Aug. 29 at Botsford Continued Care. He was a rigger/construction for the automotive industry.
Survivors include wife, Edne E.; daughter, Cathy L. (Keith) Kendall; son, William J. Jr. (Diane); grandchildren, Kenneth, Kendall, Kelly Sikorski and Dawn Jehle; great-grandchildren, Kari, Chaylyn, Savannah and Brent.

Verna R. Smith
Services for Verna Smith, 87, of Superior Township were held Aug. 27 at Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church with the Rev. Craig A. Phillips officiating. Burial was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Frankford, Pa.
Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 6, 1914, in Philadelphia and died Aug. 21 at home. She was a homemaker. Previously of Drexel Hill, Penn., she graduated from Frankford High School in 1932. She was a member of Eastern Star-Signet Chapter #129 of Philadelphia. She was a member of the choir and altar guild at Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church in Drexel Hill, Pa., and currently a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Plymouth where she was a member of the women's League. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Drexel Hill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Smith.
Survivors include sons, David T. (Judy) Smith of Ann Arbor and Merle C. Smith; granddaughters, Melissa Smith, Kathleen Smith, Amanda Smith, Jennifer Smith, and Deborah Burns; grandsons, Paul Smith and Jeffery Smith; and great-grandchildren, Joseph, Robbie and Cassie.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 574 S. Sheldon Road, Plymouth, MI 48170.
