Karl Edward McNulty Sr.
Services for Karl McNulty, 67, of Canton were held Aug. 31 at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church with the Rev. C. Richard Kelly officiating.
Mr. McNulty was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Detroit and died Aug. 20 in Superior Township. He was a retired mill wright for General Motors. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Mr. McNulty was preceded in death by his son, Keith McNulty.
Survivors include wife, Gurvis McNulty; sons, Richard McNulty, Michael (Mary) McNulty, Karl McNulty Jr.; daughter, Mary Margaret Harms; brother, John McNulty; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by McCabe Funeral Home Canton Chapel.

Thelma M. Wall
Services for Thelma May Wall, 90, of Livonia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Paul Pakizer officiating. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery in Illinois.
Mrs. Wall was born Jan. 14, 1912 in Bloomington, Ill. and died Aug. 21, 2002 in Ann Arbor. She was a member of Riverside Park Church and the Keystone Chapter of the Eastern Star No. 19 in Bloomington, Ill. She was a coin collector and loved gardening, cooking and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Donald; daughters, Delores Hunter and Doris (Jerry) Bailey; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Riversid Park Church of God.

Irene A. Walldorf
Services for Irene A. Waldorf, 95, of Plymouth, were held Aug. 23 at the Shrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Sanford Burr officiating. Burial took place at Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
Ms. Waldorf was born June 4, 1907 in Trenton and died Aug. 20, 2002 in Ann Arbor. She taught at Plymouth High School for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, The National Teachers Association, The Plymouth Historical Society, and the Friends of the Plymouth Library. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending winters in Long Boat Key, Fla. She also enjoyed spending time at her cottage at Base Lake.
She is survived by her life-long friend, Margaret Dunning; sister, Lillian Hodges; niece, Barbara (James) Rufli; nephew, Theodore (Marilyn Waldorf; great-nieces and nephews, Susan (David) Skeba, Linda Waldorf, Todd (Erik) Waldorf, Bradford (Diana) Waldorf and Christopher (Nataska) Waldorf; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Camren and Fred.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Historical Society.

Erma Pilch
Erma Pilch, 78, of Canton, died Aug. 22, 2002 at Angela Hospice.
Mrs. Pilch was born Nov. 17, 1923 in Mohawk, Mich. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Robert and Marlene (Peter) Salinas; and grandchildren, Stefenie, Joseph and Melanie. She is preceded in death by her husband Steve.
Arrangements made by Neely-Turowski Funeral Home in Canton.

Ralph Church
Services for Ralph Church, 95, of Redford, were held Aug. 16 at Vermeulen Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. John Shinn officiating. Burial took place at Worden Cemetery in Salem Township.
Mr. Church was born Feb. 7, 1907 in Eldorado Ill. and died Aug. 13, 2002 at Presbyterian Village in Redford. He worked as a sales manager for bill Brown Ford. He was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Canton where he served on the Board of Deacons and also as Sunday School President for several years. He had owned service stations in Highland Park and Detroit and was an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Church served as an Air Raid Warden during World War II and wrote several stories about his boyood in southern Ill. And several were published.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Shirley (Ross) Case; step-sons, Donald (Merle) Morton, Kenneth (Kathy) Morton and Louis John (Mae) Morton; and niece, Doris Jean Strammer. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby.

Rose Krokosky
Services for Rose Krokosky, 87, of Plymouth, were held Aug. 17 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzentine Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lazar officiating. Burial took place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. Krokosky was born April 12, 1915 in Ella Hollow, Pa. and died Aug. 14, 2002 in Plymouth. She worked as a custodian.
She is survived by her son, John (Sue); daughter, Sharon (Michael) Kania; sister, Ann Bogusky; grandchildren, Glenn Kania, Deborah Broyles, John Krokosky and Krokosky; and great-granddaughter, Shelby Kania.
Arrangements made by Vermeulen Funeral Home in Plymouth.

James W. McKee
Services for James William McKee were scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24 at Henry Ford Village Chapel in Dearborn with the Rev. Arnold Duchille officiating.
Mr. Mckee, 84, of Dearborn died Aug. 21. He was born April 10, 1918 in Cohoes, N.Y.
Mr. McKee worked for 26 years for A.R. Soltie & Co., where he retired as an office manager in 1981. Before that, he served in the Air Force for 38 years (including reserve duty) and retired as a Major.
He was a devout husband, supportive father and loyal employee, family members said. His hobbies included trout fishing, card playing and he was a Little League coach when his kids were young.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jacqueine (Olmstead) McKee, formerly of Plymouth; a brother, John Bernard Jr.; a sister, Lucille Soltis of Dearborn; two sons, Michael Christopher McKee (Sue Ann) of Fenton and James Steven McKee (Karen Marie) of Plano, Texas; a daughter, Marsha (McKee) Hoff (Gary) of Canton; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucy McKee.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 17220 W. 12 Mile Road, Suite 100, Southfield, MI 48076.
Local arrangement were handled by Schrader-Howell Funeral Home.

Imogene Trathen
Services for Imogene Trathen, 89, of Plymouth, were held Aug. 22 at Oakland Hills Mausoleum with the Rev. Don Confer officiating. Burial was at Oakland Hills Cemetery in Novi.
Mrs. Trathen was born Sept. 11, 1912 in Oil City, Pa., and died Aug. 20 in Plymouth. She was a homemaker until her children were raised and, at age 60, took driving lessons and joined the work force, becoming the manager at the Tie Rack store in Southfield.
She had a great sense of humor, telling "tales of old" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For two years in a row, she was the queen of the Howell Melon Festival, riding in the float and representing the facility she was living in. Her happiest times were when the whole family came together to laugh and share life experiences.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Tom Trathen.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda (Dennis) Urick of Canton; son Tom (Sandy) Trathen of Livonia; grandchildren Cheryl (Mike) Hess of Dearborn Heights, Kristen (Bob) Ford of Canton, Lauren Trathen of Georgia and Megan Trathen of Livonia; step-grandson Mark (Karen) Urick of Canton; great-grandchildren Nick and Corey Kreucher of Sterling Heights, Kelly O'Brien of Canton and Marisa Zumberg of Dearborn Heights; step-great-grandchildren Bruce and Shane Osnoe of Canton; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital in honor of Kelly O'Brien.

Andrew J. Walsh
Services for Andrew J. Walsh, 76, of Canton, were held Aug. 20 at St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Canton with the Rev. George Charnley officiating.
Mr. Walsh was born Oct. 6, 1925 in Dearborn and died Aug. 16, 2002 in Farmington Hills. He worked as a training supervisor for New York Life Insurance.
He is survived by his son, Jim (Peggy) and Tom (Maggie); sister-in-law, Luella (Elton) Frey; and brother-in-law, Harold (Virginia) Benz; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia.

Rodney J. Juve
Services for Rodney J. Juve, 66, formerly of Plymouth, were held Aug. 21 at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. T. Richard Harris officiating.
Mr. Juve was born Dec. 15, 1935 in Dearborn and died Aug. 19, 2002 in Royal Oak. He worked as an automotive executive and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills. He enjoyed traveling across country with his wife in their R.V.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen O'Neill; children, Brent (Tisa) Juve and Barbara Juve; stepson, Craig (Kimberly) O'Neill; grandchildren, Rachel, Eli and Emmalee Juve; brother, Lee (Kathy) Juve; sister, Roz Juve; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Phyllis K. Conrad
Services for Phyllis K. Conrad, 94, of Plymouth, were held Aug. 19 at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth with the Rev. David Martin officiating. Burial took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
Mrs. Conrad was born Dec. 2, 1907 in Detroit and died Aug. 15, 2002 at Marywood Nursing Care Center. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, William (Dawn) and Robert (Patricia); and grandchildren, Robert, Michael and David (Monique) Conrad and Wendy (David) Solari. She was preceded in death by her husband William.

Lyla M. Allmand
Services for Lyla M. Allmand, 84, of Sarasota, Fla., were held Aug. 19 at Vermeulen Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Hugh McMartin officiating. Burial took place at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mrs. Allmand was born July 17, 1918 in Flasher, N.D. and died Aug. 14, 2002. She was a business owner.
She is survived by her son, John (Patricia); daughter, Janice Loose; sister, Marilyn Shaw; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John and brother Norman.

Patricia A. Parko

Mrs. Parko was born Aug. 30, 1942 in Detroit and died Aug. 16, 2002 at Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Denise); daughter, Julie (David) Jones; granddaughters, Rene and Victoria Parko and Julia Jones; and niece, Nichole De Frain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis.

Ilo Jean Stallard
A memorial service for Ilo Jean Stallard, 74, of Topeka, Kan., will be held at 4 p.m. today, Aug. 22 at First Presbyterian Church of Topeka.
Mrs. Stallard was born June 6, 1928 in Minneapolis, Minn. and died Aug. 16, 2002 in Topeka. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Pittsburg State University and was an elementary school teacher for the Columbus Unified School District and Seaman Unified School District. She also did clerical work for Hoss & Brown Engineers, Inc. of Topeka. Mrs. Stallard was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Topeka. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, the Girl Scouts of America and the Shawnee County Mental Health Hotline.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip; son, Doug; daughters, Lynn Stallard, Gail Harry of Canton and Janet Stallard; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaugter.
