Francis A. Trader
Services for Francis Trader of Westland were July 30 in Prayer Baptist Church with burial at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Officiating was the Rev. Larry Bartlett.
Mr. Trader was born Nov. 22, 1928, in Detroit, and died July 26, 2002, in Westland. He was a repairman. He was a member of Prayer Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel; children, Patricia (Bud) Davis of Westland, Gary (Debbie) Trader of Canton, Denise (Fred) Skellenger of Weberville and Theresa (Jay) Diadiun of Milford; siblings, Jeannie Buel of Marine City, Don Trader of Livonia, Joyce Enders of Port Huron, Walter Trader of Marine City and Alice Trader of Marine City; half-sisters, Mildred Ross of Livonia and Myrtle Lozen of Virginia; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Trader also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Vermeulen Funeral Home, Westland.

Margarita Zoltowski
A funeral service for Margarita Zoltowski, 57, of Wayne will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, in Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan, with a mass following at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Bob Pienta. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 1, and 4-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, in the funeral home. There will be a rosary at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Zoltowski was born Oct. 17, 1944, in Monterrey, Mexico, and died July 25 at Arbor Hospice Residence. She lived in Milan before moving to Wayne. She was employed as a special education teacher at John Glenn High School in Westland.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Jim; sons, James (Lisa) of Milan, Anthony (Kyleen) of Garden City and Ronnie (Mary) of Milan; sisters, Teresa, Irma, Lupe and Annie; and six grandchildren, Anthony, Zachary, Chelsea, Brieann, Alissa and Madyson.
Memorial tributes may be made to Arbor Hospice or Ovarian Cancer Research.

Elizabeth J. Van Dam
Services for Elizabeth J. Van Dam, 81, of Westland were July 31 in Episcopal Church of The Holy Spirit with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia.
Mrs. Van Dam was born April 8, 1921, in Detroit, and died July 28 at her home in Westland. She was an accountant in the banking industry.
Survivors include her husband, Willard; daughters, Sandra (Henry) Engen, Pamela (Francis) Lundgren and Dawn (Richard) Jarey; brother, Jack White; four grandchildren, Leslie Hite, Alison Engen-Kline, Curt Czerniak and Jason Jarey; and two great-grandchildren, Peter and Becky Hite.
Arrangements were made by L.J. Griffin Funeral Home.

Margaret E. Reschke
A Celebration of Life service for Margaret Reschke, 92, of Westland was Aug. 24 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Westland, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
Mrs. Reschke died Aug. 18.
Surviving are her sister, Luella Tieman; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reschke was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, and sons, Harry (Rosemary) and Donald (Dorothy).
Arrangements were made by Harry J. Will Funeral Home.

Stuart W. Hisle
Services for Stuart Hisle, 72, of Livonia were July 27 in Harry J. Will Funeral Home with burial at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia.
Mr. Hisle was born May 16, 1930, in Weir, Kan., and died July 17 at his home in Livonia. He was an engineer for Ford Motor Co., Livonia and Dearborn. He served in the Army Air Corps. during World War II.
Surviving are his sisters, Barbara (Fred) Patton, Flora (Thomas) Gates of Westland and Joan (Harvie) Stringer.
Memorial tributes may be made to American Heart Association or the Leukemia Foundation.

Karen E. Clemmons
Services for Karen Clemmons, 33, of Westland were July 23 in First Congregational Church of Wayne. Officiating was the Rev. Rob Joy.
Mrs. Clemmons was born Nov. 25, 1968, and died July 19 in Wayne. She was a contract administrator at Compuware.
Surviving are her husband, John; daughter, Ryan Clemmons; parents, Howard and Joyce Taylor of Canton; sisters, Sandy (Robert) Spence of Florida, Paula (Peter) Bartlett of Florida and Kelly (Craig) Timko of Canton; and grandmother, Obeth Pack.
Mrs. Clemmons was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Pack.
Arrangements were made by Uht Funeral Home.

Kenneth S. Flowers
Services for former Westland resident Kenneth Flowers, 63, of Dearborn Heights were July 27 in Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Home, Ferndale, with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Livonia.
Mr. Flowers died July 23 in Henry Ford Hospice of The Arnold Home, Detroit. He was an avid fly-fisherman.
Surviving are his son, Neal (Sara) Flowers of Oak Park; and daughter, Jennifer Flowers of Sterling Heights.

Mary Jo Fargo
Funeral services for Mary Jo Fargo, 64, of Westland will be 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29, in Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Ave., Wayne, with a Mass following at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. today, Sunday, July 28, in the funeral home. There will be a Scripture Service 7 p.m. this evening in the funeral home.
Mrs. Fargo died July 23.
Surviving are her children, Cherie (Gary) Clark, John (Lori), Tom (Lisa) and Nicole (Carl Hudson); siblings, Robert (Norma) Perkins, Ruth Saltern, Edith (Jr.) Cowger, Ralph (Loretta) Perkins, Shirley (Bill) Cymbal, Joseph (Linda) Perkins, Catherine (Gary) Monell and Jenny Kisner; and six grandchildren, Jennifer, Bobby, Zachary, Evan, Mary and Julie.
Mrs. Fargo was preceded in death by her husband, John.
Memorial tributes may be made to American Heart Association or Lukemia Foundation.

Georgina A. Olsen
Services for Georgina Olsen, 88, of Westland were July 27 in L.J. Griffin Funeral Home with burial at Grandlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Olsen was born July 15, 1914, in Port Huron, and died July 23 in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Jim) Gillette, sister, Cora Anderson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

JANE E. TEETZEL
Services for Jane E. Teetzel, 54, of Westland were Saturday, July 12, in the Funeral Chapel at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home in Westland. A private committal followed.
She was born on July 20, 1947, in Detroit and died on July 9, 2002, in Garden City. She worked in the diary department at the Kroger grocery store.
Survivors include sons Nick (Julie) and Jason; mother Martha Pudas, and brother Graham (Lorna) Pudas. She is preceded in death by her father, Jarl Pudas.

NATHAN P. CRAMTON
Services for Nathan P. Cramton, 67, of Garden City were Friday, July 12, 2002, at St. Richard Catholic Church in Westland, followed by burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland. The Rev. Terence Treppa officiated.
Mr. Cramton was born on Jan 23, 1935, in Detroit and died July 7, 2002, in Garden City. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was an ironworker. He was a member of Iron Workers Local No. 25/Retirees Club.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Cramton of Garden City; sons Kevin (Faye) Cramton of Northville, Mark (Bridgette) Cramton of Garden City, Scott (Michele) Cramton of Rockwood and David (Dawn) Cramton of Flat Rock; sister Betty Jean Cramton of Westland; brother Kenneth Cramton of Alabama, and 11 grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Vermeulen Funeral Home in Westland.

RALPH BICKES
Services for Ralph Bickes, 69, of Westland will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, from Uht Funeral Home in Westland with the Rev. Jack Baker officiating and burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland.
Mr. Bickes was born Dec. 13, 1932, and died July 7 in Wayne. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Renee; son, Jerome David (Shelly) Bickes; siblings, Bernard (Dorothy) Bickes Jr., Delores George and Robert (Cheryl) Bickes; and three grandchildren.

JAMES FRANK ROBERTS
Services for James Frank Roberts, 47, of Farmington and Westland will be July 21. For memorial service information, call (734) 395-1733.
Mr. Roberts died June 12. He had served in the United States Navy for nine years and received many medals and commendations.
He had a great love for his family and a generous spirit.
Mr. Roberts is survived by the joy of his life, daughter, Rhonda. He is also survived by his parents, Ronald and Lois Roberts; sister, Gayle Roberts Krupin; brothers, Ronald (Rhonda), Steven (Barbara), Brian and Michael Roberts; five nieces; six nephews; and one great-niece.
Memorials are suggested to the Veterans Administration in his memory.

RICHARD S. SCERBA
Services for Richard S. Scerba, 52, of Westland, formerly of Allen Park, were July 8 from St. Richard Catholic Church with the Rev. Terence Treppa officiating and burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
Mr. Scerba was born Jan. 11, 1950, in Detroit and died July 4 in Westland. He was a 16-year resident of Westland. He worked for CSX Transportation for 34 years, most recently in the post of lead car inspector at the Detroit/Rougemere yard. He was a member of the Robert Jones Council Knights of Columbus, a 14-year member of St. Richard Catholic Church in Westland and enjoyed working around the house and building things.
Mr. Scerba is survived by his wife, Diane; brother, Raymond; daughters, Dawn Trella, Kathleen Trella, Tina (Phil) Smith and Barbara (Dave) Cagill; son, Christopher Fraiser; brother, Raymond; and two grandchildren.
Vermeulen Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Services, 32932 Warren, Westland MI 48135.

ANNA BELLE SOWARDS
Services for Anna Belle Sowards, 78, of Westland were today, July 11, from Eisnaugle-Lewis Funeral Home in Ohio with the Rev. Jerry Scott officiating and burial at Pattonsville Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio.
Mrs. Sowards was born Dec. 19, 1923, and died July 6 in Wayne. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Dottie L. (Ronald) Baker, Kermit L. Sowards, Sharon Watson and Patty (Max) Killingsworth; siblings, Archie Webb, Thelma Eades, Hazel Scott, Gerald Webb and Donna Sowers; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death were her husband William "Hoscat" Sowards, brothers Shelby E. Webb Jr. and Donald Gene Webb and sister Carol Baker.
Uht Funeral Home in Westland handled the local arrangements.
