John E. McDevitt Jr.
Services for John E. McDevitt Jr., 76, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 14 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington with burial following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mr. McDevitt died Nov. 10, 2002. He was the former president fo E.J. McDevitt Company (McDevitt's Hallmark) and a long time dealer/member of the National Church Goods Association.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Corbett, John Michael, Susan (Paul) Heneks, Patrick (Bonnie) and Paul (Brenda); siblings, Mary Reid, Dr. Frank McDevitt, Betty (Ollie) Boss, Richard (Lea) McDevitt and Sister Mary "Nancy" McDevitt I.H.M.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and 35 nieces and nephews.

Otto A. Aporius
Services for Otto Albert Aporius, 89, of Farmington Hills, will be held today, Nov. 14 at Glen Eden Memorial Park Chapel in Livonia with the Rev. Chris Kramer officiating.
Mr. Aporius was born March 3, 1913 in Germany and died Nov. 12, 2002 at St. Mary Hospital in Livonia. He worked as a tool and die maker until his retirment in 1965.
He is survived by his son, Heinz; granddaughter, Heidi Talke; and grandson, Tim Talke. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elli.

Mrs. Siatkowski was born Nov. 30, 1915, in Detroit and died Nov. 14, 2002, at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital in Commerce. She worked on the housekeeping staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills.
She is survived by her son, James; daughters, Patricia Mahon and Darlene Meagher; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward.

Mrs. Longworth was born Sept. 21, 1908, in Barry, Ontario, Canada, and died Nov. 12, 2002, in Farmington. She worked as a salesperson for Sears and enjoyed watching Lions football, golfing and her family.
She is survived by her sons Robert and Michael; grandchildren Paul, Mark, Peter, Julie, Jessica, Shannon and Michelle; and great-grandchildren Shelby, Forrest, Hunter and Kevin. She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Florence I. Arnold
Services for Florence I. Arnold, 85, of Farmington, were held Oct. 28 at R.G. & G.R. Funeral Home in Livonia with the Rev. William Hale officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Detroit.
Mrs. Arnold was born Sept. 25, 1917 in Canada and died Oct. 24, 2002 at Bloomfield Orchard Villa in West Bloomfield. She was a dog groomer. She was also a member and Sunday School teacher at the Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Arnold enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, ceramics, cooking and sewing.
She is survived by her children, Fred (Doris) Arnold, Janet (Paul) Sollenburger, Mary (Layford) Wilson, Karen Morrison, Pamela Little and Christine (Elhannen) Stacy; brother, Paul (Faye) Pritchard; and 47 grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Charles F. Makowsky
Charles F. Makowsky, 82, of Farmington, died Nov. 19, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills.
Mr. Makowsky was born Sept. 7, 1920 in Duluth, Minn. He worked as a test driver for the auto industry.
He is survived by his wife, Vera; sons, Charles (Lillian), James (Sharon) and Robert Watson; daughters, Patricia Clep, Laurie (Steve) Biegel and Barbara Watson; and nine grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, James Clep.

Victoria Kerezsi

Mrs. Kerezsi was born April 11, 1919 in Detroit and died Nov. 18, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington. She was a seamstress and enjoyed cooking and cats. She sang professionally with her sisters, in a musical group called the Francu Sisters.
She is survived by her son, John (Elsie); daughter, Karen (John) Martin; sisters, Elvira Serb and Mary Pescari; and grandchildren, Brian and John. She is preceded in death by her husband, John.

Charlotte Jung Moy
Services for Charlotte Jung Moy, 83 of Ferndale, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 21 at Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home in Berkley with the Rev. Wayne Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Detroit.
Mrs. Moy was born Sept. 4, 1919 in Carson City, Nev. and died Nov. 16, 2002 at Farmington Hills Inn. She owned Moy's House of Oriental Specialty, which operated stores at Westland and Northland Malls. She also taught sewing for the Detroit Public Schools Adult Education Program and was an official interpreter for the U.S. Immigration Service. She enjoyed the annual rummage sale at the Birmingham Presbyterian Church where she worked with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Dick; children, Dick Jr. (Sim), Adelia Soo and Gregory; grandchildren, Brian, Jadeen, Tiffany, and Jeremy; and brother, Sam Jung. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Sze and Filena Lee and daughter-in-law, Nancy Moy.

Arthur Hiett Sercombe, 80, of Royal Oak, died Nov. 20, 2002 at Hospice Home in Farmington Hills.

Arthur H. Sercombe
Arthur H. Sercombe, 80, died Nov. 20, 2002 at Hospice Home of Farmington Hills.
Mr. Sercombe was born June 28, 1922 in Detroit. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and served with the 451st Bomber Squadron as a navigator. After the war, Mr. Sercombe graduated from the University of Michigan in 1948 with a degree in architecture. He worked for the City of Detroit Planning Commission until his retirement in 1982.
He was a member of the DIA Founders Society, the Michigan Nature Association, the Sierra Club, the American Youth Hostels, the Michigan Audubon Society, the Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers, and Birmingham Central Kiwanis.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, Paul (Patty); and daughter, Sarah.
