Funeral services for Margaret Clarahan Hayes, 81, of Farmington Hills were held Saturday, Nov. 30 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington, with Rev. Ronald Browne officiating.
Mrs. Hayes was born on Jan. 10, 1921 in Detroit. She died Nov. 26, 2002 in Farmington Hills.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years Thomas; sons Bill and Kevin, daughters Kim (Dale) Beach and Janice (Bob) Temske; grandchildren Marlo, Ryan, Jason, Brandon and Darrin. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary.

Doris Gaiser
Services for Doris Gaiser, 77, of Farmington Hills, were held Dec. 3 at Hope Lutheran Church in Farmington Hills with the Rev. Bradley Gee officiating. Burial followed at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mrs. Gaiser was born June 21, 1925 in Detroit and died Nov. 29, 2002 at Providence Hospital in Southfield. She was a foster parent and a volunteer at Botsford Hospital for many years. She was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Carl E.; sons Carl T., Gary (Gail), and Kurt; daughters, Gayle (Glenn) Bachman and Beth (Kevin) Oldham; sister, Beatrice (Arnold) Krause; and eight grandchildren.

Dr. Malcolm J. Delaney, M.D.
Services for Dr. Malcolm J. Delaney, 82, formerly of Farmington, were held Nov. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, Fla.
Dr. Delaney died Nov. 15, 2002 at the Hospice of Martin & St. Lucie in Stuart, Fla. A native of Gananoque, Canada he graduated from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He was an emergency doctor and director of emergency services at St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia and served as a general practitioner in Farmington for 33 years.
During World War II, he was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, Fla.
Dr. Delaney is survived by his wife, Norma; son, Brian; daughter, Kathy Baecker; and three granddaughters.

Geno Toffanetti
Services for Geno Toffanetti, 77, of Farmington Hills, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 5 at McCabe Funeral Home in Farmington Hills.
Mr. Toffanetti was born in Butler, Pa. and died Dec. 1, 2002 in Farmington Hills. He worked as a sales manager for Kolene Corporation for 33 years and was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Toffanetti earned two Purple Hearts and various other medals during his service in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed golf, traveling, sailing, reading, sports and was a Civil War enthusiast.

Jeanette K. Lisiecki
Services for Jeanette Katherine Lisiecki, 83, of Farmington Hills, were held Dec. 7 at St. Agatha Church in Redford with the Rev. Michael Hrydziuszka officiating. Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. Lisiecki was born Aug. 10, 1919 in Nanty-Glo, Pa. and died Dec. 3, 2002 in Farmington Hills. She worked as a computer inspector for Unisys Corporation and was a member of St. Agatha Church in Redford.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony; sister, Florence (Fred) Turek; brother-in-law, Edward Lisiecki; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Dulcie R. McKelvey
Services for Dulcie "Del" Rose McKelvey, 81, of Farmington Hills, were held Dec. 5 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Farmington with the Rev. Ronald Browne officiating. Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. McKelvey was born April 15, 1921 in Windsor, Ontario and died Dec. 3, 2002 at Heartland Healthcare Center - Dorvin in Livonia. She worked as a teacher's aide at Eagle Elementary School in Farmington Hills and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and had a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her children Daniel (Maureen) McKelvey, Christine (Geoffrey) Simpson and Susan (David) Andrews; grandchildren Kerry (Karl) Gabrielson, Maura, Nolan and Molly McKelvey, Nathan and Corrie Beth Shotwell, and Ryan and Kyle Andrews; great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Sawyer; sisters, Arlene (Jack) Curd and Joyce Dobrick; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall.

Dean L. Stevens
A memorial service for Dean Lawrence Stevens, 73, of Westland, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 at Henry Ford Village Chapel in Dearborn with the Rev. Alfred Grams officiating.
Mr. Stevens was born Jan. 4, 1929 in Detroit and died Dec. 1, 2002 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia. He worked as a buyer in the purchasing department for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn and was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a trustee and board member of the Ford Employee Recreation Association and the Ford Chorus.
He is survived by his mother, Bernice Behnke; brother, Robert; sister, Carol Stevens; nieces, Julie Stevens and Sandra Smith; and step-mother, Louise Stevens.

Mr. Flemming was born April 14, 1945 in Detroit and died Nov. 30, 2002 in Kalamazoo. He worked for Focal Point Photography Studio in Kalamazoo.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline; sisters, Louise (Michael) Franz, Joyce (Joe) Falardeau and Nancy (Brad) Reber; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father John.

Mrs. Lorence was born Jan. 15, 1921 in Lake Linden, Mich. and died Dec. 4, 2002 in Farmington Hills. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; sons, Richard (Sue), Brian, Bruce (Colleen) and Dennis (Theresa); daughters, Denise Lorence, Renee (Paul) Bolde and Claudia (Pete) Jonik; sister, Arlene Vivian; and 11 grandchildren.

Charlotte Dorler
Services for Charlotte Dorler, 78, of Farmington Hills, were held Dec. 7 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Walled Lake.
Mrs. Dorler died Dec. 5, 2002.

Barbara D. Maliszewski
Services for Barbara Doris Maliszewski, 79, of Farmington were held Dec. 9 at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township with the Rev. John Maki officiating.
Mrs. Maliszewski was born Aug. 22, 1923, in Renshaw, England and died Dec. 6, 2002, in Farmington. She served as a Pink Lady in the British Armed Services during World War II and after the war was a member of the United Nations Displacement Unit.
She is survived by her husband, William; daughters, Joanne and Susan (Randy) Blum; daughter-in-law, Elaine; five sisters; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William.

Mr. Greeley was born in 1935 in Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. He graduated from U-M's undergraduate and medical schools. He was a faculty member there and at Wayne State University's medical schools. Dr. Weiner was a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and was honored for his work with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
In 1996 and 1998, he was listed as one of the state's best doctors. During the Korean War, Dr. Weiner served as a lieutenant commander in the Navy. He was a member of the Congregation B'nai Moshe in West Bloomfield. His hobbies included cooking and needlepoint.
In his 60s, Dr. Weiner went back to school to earn a master's degree in business administration from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Betty; sons, Adam, Howard and Daniel Weiner; daughter, Miriam Adam; and three grandchildren.

Orrin A. Newton
Visitation for Orrin Andrew Newton, 56, of Ovid, Mich., will be held 3-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Northrop-Sassaman Funeral Home in Northville.
Mr. Newton was born Dec. 7, 1946, in Thief River Falls, Minn., and died Dec. 17, 2002, in Ovid, Mich. He worked as a tool analyst for Ford Motor Co. for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; children, Eric Newton and Brenda Newton; mother, Viola Newton; and siblings, Gloria (Jack) Newton, Bernard (Karen) Newton, Dean Newton, Nancy Bodin, Henry (Diana) Newton, Alan Newton, Robert (Cheryl) Newton and Lee Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
Jeff A. Sample
A memorial service for Jeff Allen Sample, 25, of Key Largo, Fla., will begin at 4 p.m. today (Dec. 19) at the Key Largo Lions Club.
Mr. Sample was born Dec. 19, 1976, in Wolverine Lake, Mich., and died Dec. 1, 2002, at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Florida State University where he was a member of the FSU Marching Chiefs for three years.
He is survived by his parents, Tony and Mary Ellen Sample; brother, Jimmy; sister, Mary Ann; grandmother, Olga Sample; aunts and uncles, Sally (Bob) Werenski, Robert Sample, Beth (Tom) Donaldson, Sue (Keith) Kolodziej, Jack Kolodziej and Patty (Dean) Croft; girlfriend, Ashley Drahn; several cousins; and many friends.
