Mrs. Leja was born July 4, 1923, in Chicago, Ill., and died Oct. 11, 2002, in Farmington Hills. She was an accountant/bookkeeper.
Surviving are her son, David (Lynda); brother, Alex Bis; and grandson, Damon.

Mary Catherine Webley
Services for Mary Webley, 72, of Garden City were today, Thursday, Oct. 17, in John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home with burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, Westland. Officiating was the Rev. Frederick Misiolek from St. Raphael Catholic Church.
A homemaker, Mrs. Webley was born March 19, 1930, in Massachusetts; and four grandchildren.
Memorial tributes may be made to The Salvation Army, Eastern Thompson was born Jan. 8, 1934, in Alpena, and died Dec. 25, 2002, in Garden City. He was a meat cutter at a grocery store.
Surviving are his wife, Delores; children, Diane (Tony) Urbanski of Garden City and Charles; siblings, Joyce Witt, Shirley (Bert) Smith, Gerald and Faye (Milton) Hassee.
Larry Patrick Rains

Mr. Rains was born Jan. 11, 1950, and died Dec. 25, 2002, in Wayne. He was an engineering supervisor.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene; son, David (Brook) Rains of Livonia; and sisters, Shirley Loutzenhiser and Pam (Doug) Stevens.
James D. Cotney
Services for James "Doug" Cotney, 78, of Clay Township were Dec. 23 in Trinity United Methodist Church in Algonac, with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Algonac. Officiating was the Rev. Dennis Irish.
Mr. Cotney was born May 14, 1924, in Martha, Okla., and died Dec. 21, 2002, in Grosse Pointe. He was a member of South Ward Masonic Lodge in Marine City.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Jacqueline; daughter, Shirley (Don) Glenn of Livonia; brother, Darrell Cotney; sisters, NaDene Shive and Anna Mae Norris; and grandchildren, Jason Glenn and Carmen Glenn.

Gerald R. Glass
Services for Gerald Glass, 73, of Inkster were Dec. 30 in Vermeulen Funeral Home in Westland.
Mr. Glass was born June 19, 1929, in Salem Township, and died Dec. 26, 2002, in Garden City. He was a tool and die maker.
Surviving are his siblings, Mildred Domanke of Livonia, Winifred (Fern) Mantez of Rainbow Lake, Jan (Jay) Gill of West Palm Beach, Fla., Judy (Richard) Houghton of Miami, Fla., Howard (Lois) Glass of St. Johns and Milton (Mary) Glass of Livonia; and several nieces and nephews.
James C. Anderson
Services for James C. Anderson, 52, of Plymouth were December 22 in the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home of Plymouth with Pastor Drex Morton officiating.
Mr. Anderson was born December 16, 1950 in Yankton, S.D. He died Dec. 18 in Plymouth. Mr. Anderson was a heavy equipment operator for R.C. Grading Company in Gregory, Mich. He came to the Plymouth community in 1970 from South Dakota. He was an avid golfer and a loving husband, father, son, brother and son-in-law.
Survivors include wife Jean Anderson of Plymouth; son Nick Anderson of Plymouth; mother Esther Anderson of Yankton, S.D.; sisters Deyanne (Rick) Harding of Louviers, N.Y., and died Dec. 17, 2002.
Surviving are his wife, Taska; children, Sven (Mary), Richard (Karen), Darryl (Carol) and Sherry (Wayne) Hohn; sisters, Blenda Letenyei and Ruth Barney; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Stanley Zbier
A funeral Mass for Stanley Zbier, 66, of Livonia was Dec. 21 in St. Priscilla Catholic Church.
Mr. Zbier was born June 19, 1936, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and died Dec. 15, 2002.
Surviving are his wife, Stanislawa; sons, Rod (Celeste) and Adam; brother, Mike Zbier; sisters, Mary Patrick and Helen Kush; and two grandchildren, Tyrone and Carmen.

Beverly Jane Johnson
Services for former Redford resident Beverly Johnson, 79, of Livonia were Dec. 19 in R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park. Officiating was the Rev. Victor Halboth from Grace Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Detroit, and died Dec. 15, 2002, in Farmington Hills. She came to Livonia eight years ago from Redford.
Mrs. Johnson was a secretary for Farmington Community Schools at the board office.
Surviving are her daughters, Joan Smart, Carol (Steven) Firavich and Marianne Churchill; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was prececed in death by her husband, Carl; daughter, Sally Cecere; and brother Rev. Robert Richardson.
Daniel Darrah
Services for former Livonia resident Daniel Darrah, 56, of Linden were Dec. 20 in the Highland Chapel of Elton Black and Son Funeral Home in Highland.
Mr. Daniel died Dec. 17, 2002, He was retired as a school psychologist from Livonia Schools, where he worked for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; children, Matthew (Sheri) Darrah and Daniela Darrah; father, Robert Darrah of Livonia; and sisters, Kathie (Robert) Fairlie and Maryellen (Jose) Bartolome.
Mr. Darrah was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie.
Renaldy Michnewicz
Services for Renaldy Michnewicz, 84, of Livonia were Dec. 21 in the Chapel of Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. Jennifer Saad.
Mr. Michnewicz was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Detroit, and died Dec. 19, 2002, in Livonia.
He was the owner of Renaldy's White China Shop in Troy.
Surviving are his brother-in-law, Howard (Paula) McCammon; nephew, Gerald of Florida.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Ghislaine; children, Teresa (Phillip) Vella of Montreal, Linda (Terry) Worful of South Lyon, James (Lisa) Rimanelli of Brighton, Cynthia Rimanelli of Highland and Gino (Ann) Rimanelli of South Lyon; brothers, Antonio (Eda) Rimanelli of Grosse Pointe Woods and Giose (Sheryl) Rimanelli of Massachusettes; and 11 grandchildren.

Vincent Thomas Corrado
Services for Vincent Corrado, 64, of Livonia were Dec. 14 in St. Michael Catholic Church. Officiating was the Rev. Leonard Partensky.
Mr. Corrado was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio in 1972. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church 30 years.
Mr. Corrado was a member of the electrical Manufacturers Association, Electrical Industrial Club, Livonia Elks, Sweet 16 Seniors and the Old Timers Club. He loved to golf and travel, and enjoyed working with his sons doing electrical work.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; children, Michael Corrado of Livonia, James (Mary) Corrado of Canton and Cathleen Corrado of South Lyon; sisters, Dolly Mascia of Lyndhurst, Ohio; and grandchildren, Alexandra, Nickolas and Joseph.

Mrs. Williams was born Aug. 16, 1935, and died Dec. 3, 2002, at her home in Aurora, Colo.

Mrs. Labbe was born July 8, 1941, in Steubenville, Ohio, and died Dec. 2, 2002, in Livonia. She was a surgical technician.
Surviving are her husband, William; daughter, Paula (Tim) Guthat; brother, John (Cathy) Romano; sisters, Mary Romano and Joan (Charles) Przybylowski; and parents, Pauline and the late John Romano.

Frank N. Harris

Mr. Harris was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Salmon, Idaho, and died Dec. 8, 2002, in Garden City. He lived in Livonia 34 years.
Mr. Harris was an electrical engineer in the industrial field.
Surviving are his children, Ingrid (Larry) Runnion, Hugh (Kathleen), Robert, Gerald (Christy), Rosalie (John) Taube, Scott, Ivan and Michael; brother, Ivan (Carol); sister, Lila; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his wife, Sigrid.
