LINDA L. RAINFORD
A memorial service for Linda L. Rainford, 59, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, at Salem United Church of Christ in Farmington.
Mrs. Rainford was born Oct. 3, 1942 in Hammond, Ind. and died March 31. After marrying her high school sweetheart in Lake Village, Ind., they raised their family in Michigan.
She earned a degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1976 and became a dedicated teacher who touched and guided many young lives. Her love of the stage brought joy and laughter to many more through her numerous chorus and theater performances. She fulfilled her dream of retiring with her husband to Chandler, Ariz. in 1998.
She is survived by husband Ken; son, Alan (Denise); daughter, Julie (Brian) Grow; grandchildren Shelby, Brooke, Allison and Holly; parents, Tunis and Wynelle Parks; mother-in-law, Stella Rainford; sister, Judy Potts (Lee); sister-in-law, Marilyn Bremner (Darryl). She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Russell Rainford.

Services for Jerome Francis Hockle, 86, of Northville, were held April 9 at St. Gerald Catholic Church in Farmington with the Rev. John Menner officiating.
Mr. Hockle was born Feb. 23, 1915 and died April 7 at Cambridge Healthcare Center in Beverly Hills, Mich.
He is survived by his daughter, Paula (Jeff) Kirsh; nephew, Rich (Sherry) Hockle; special friend, Helen Johnson; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma.

Services for Steven J. Dulka Jr., 72, of Livonia, were held April 9 at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. John Maki officiating.
Mr. Dulka was born Oct. 18, 1929 and died April 6. He worked for a tool and die company.
He is survived by his children, Denise Sherman, Stevie Joe, Donna (Thomas) Yakes, Tammy La Montagne, Mary De Fillipi, Kevin (Elizabeth) and Brett; mother, Mary Dulka; sister, Dorothy Forrest; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva.

Services for June Thompson, 84, of Farmington Hills, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, April 11, at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Sue Ellis Melrose officiating. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
Mrs. Thompson was born June 27, 1917 in Detroit and died April 8 in Farmington Hills. She was a member of Questep, Briarhill Book Club Guild and Alpha Iota Sorority. She enjoyed reading, gardening and embroidering.
She is survived by her son, Bernard (Christine); daughters, Marcia Moyer and Kim Thompson-Stewart; and seven grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bernard.

Services for Flora E. Beardsley, 98, of Farmington Hills, were held May 3 at Salem United Church of Christ in Farmington with the Rev. John Maki officiating.
Mrs. Beardsley was born Aug. 18, 1903 in Fair Haven, Vt. and died April 29, 2002 in Farmington Hills. She was a member of the Eastern Star Tyrian Chapter #469, Kings Daughters, the YWCA Board of Directors and the Cancer Society. She also did volunteer work for the United Way.
She is survived by her son, Harold Jr. (Virginia); daughter, Ruth Vandoorne; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold and son David.

Mrs. Duffy was born March 26, 1913, in New York, NY and died April 24, 2002 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester.

Mr. Rybinski was born March 30, 1924 in Detroit and died April 28, 2002 at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills.
He is survived by his wife, Delphine Hejka; sons, Thomas (Lynne), Robert (Leslie), Joseph Hejka, Daniel (Mary) Hejka and Thomas (Karen) Hejka; sisters, Mary Suszek and Rita Obidzinski; brother, Richard; and 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Rybinski.

Services for Emma DePottey, 94, of Farmington were Monday, April 22 from Lola Park Lutheran Church in Redford.
Mrs. DePottey died April 19.
Survivors include son Ronald Keith (Carol) Sr., sister Martha Ward and brother Bruno Takala; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Renzo.

A memorial mass for Alphonse Joseph Demers, 77, of Farmington Hills, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, at St. Colette Church in Livonia with the Rev. Henry Roodbeen officiating.
Mr. Demers was born March 5, 1925 in Canada and died April 29, 2002 in Farmington Hills. He was self-employed as an electrical contractor.
