Maynard L. Robinson
Visitation for Maynard Robinson, 64, of Redford Township was Jan. 20-21 in Charles R. Step Funeral Home. Burial was in Williams, W. Va.
Mr. Robinson was born March 5, 1938, in Proctor Run, W. Va., and died Jan. 18, 2003, in Farmington Hills. He lived in this community many years. He was a machinist.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; children, Bettina (Glenn) Schwartz, Maynard Jr. (Alane), Darrell (Lisa) and Basil; five brothers and sisters; and six grandchildren.
Helen King Wise
A memorial service for former Redford resident Helen Wise, 85, of Milan will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, in Marble Memorial United Methodist Church in Milan. Private burial will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland.
Mrs. Wise was born July 19, 1917, in Redford, and died Jan. 20, 2003, at her home in Milan. She was an honor student graduate from Redford High School in 1935. She attended Ypsilanti Normal Teachers College and held teaching positions in Livingston County Rural schools from 1950-52.
She was a secretary at Ypsilanti Ford Plant, Bendix Corp, Ford Wayne Assembly Plant and University Microfilms.
She was an active member of Wayne United Methodist Church, Lower Deer Creek Church of Brethren and Milan Marble Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a active member at The Detroit Genealogy Society, Carroll County Women's Extension Club, and United Methodist Women Groups where she resided.
Surviving are six children and four stepchildren, Byron (Judy) Baldwin, Jr. and Jay (Sherley) Baldwin both of South Bend, Ind., Winifred "Jackie" (Carl) Marsh of Appleton, Wis., Helen (James) Edwards of Milan, Barbara (Robert) Pullano of Portage, Mich., Betty (Donald) Flint of Ironwood, Mich., Norman (Marilyn) Wise of Okemos, Elaine Wise Chadwick of Sparta, Ga., Beverly (Dave) Coffing of Peachtree, Ga., and Mary (James) Rokita of Howell; 26 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wise was preceded in death by two husbands, Byron Baldwin and Claude Wise; son, Harold Baldwin; stepdaughter, Ellen Wise Collins; great-grandson, Garret Andrews; and brother, Harold King.

Brigide Cipolla Daleo
Services for Brigide "Bree" Daleo, 90, of Novi were Jan. 13 in Vermeulen Funeral Home, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. Daleo was born Oct. 25, 1912, in Detroit, and died Jan. 10, 2003, in Farmington Hills. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Michael (Priscilla) Daleo of Redford; daughter, Mary (Ronald) Hayes of South Lyon; grandchildren, Kenneth Hayes, Christopher Hayes, Kimberley Giacherio, Shaun Hayes, Michael Daleo and Michelle Lupinski; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Daleo was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.

Lucille Larson
Former Redford resident Lucille Larson, 96, of Novi died Jan. 12, 2003.
She was born Nov. 13, 1906, in Alpena, Mich.
Surviving are her son, Raymond Larson Jr.; daughters, Ann Doherty and Ellen Graves; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Larson was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sept. 21, 1981.

Magdalene Skiba
A funeral Mass for former Redford resident Magdalene Skiba of Arlington, Texas, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, in St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 12100 Beech Daly Road, Redford. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today, Sunday, Jan. 19, in Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia.
Mrs. Skiba was born in Kony, Hungary, and died Jan. 14, 2003, in Arlington, Texas, after a long battle with cancer. She worked as a seamstress at Hudson's, Winkelman's and then later at Crowley-Milner for 35 years until its closing. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being "Nini" to her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters, Pat (Jerry) Fehribach of Columbus, Ohio, Mary Ann Skiba (Walt) Ambrose of Arlington, Texas and Kathy (Rick) Finlayson of Colleyville, Texas; siblings, Marie, Margaret and Peter of Hungary, and Jimmy of England; and grandchildren, Katie, Matt and Becky Fehribach, Nicky and Christopher Ambrose, and Brittany and Grant Finlayson.
Mrs. Skiba was preceded in death by her siblings, William, Deszi, Stephen and Agnes of Hungary and Julie of England.

Mr. Leja was born Feb. 24, 1913, in Detroit, and died Jan. 15, 2003, in Livonia. He was owner/operator of his own business. He was a veteran.

Paul Joseph Hagstrom
Services for former Redford Township resident Paul "Taz" Hagstrom, 33, of Royal Oak were Jan. 18 in Thayer-Rock Funeral Home in Farmington, with burial at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley. Officiating was the Rev. Mark Woodbury from Charlotte Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Hagstrom was born Sept. 2, 1969, in Livonia, and died Jan. 14, 2003, in Centerline. He was a machine operator for SRS Manufacturing. He was a 1987 graduate of Redford Union High School and had been a member of Westland Jaycees.
Surviving are his daughter, Frida Hagstrom; parents, Arnold Hagstrom and Linda Arnold; brother, Jim of Westland; and grandparents, Donald and Pearl Hagstrom, Ella Hagstrom, and Frances Robson.
Frederick Coleman Boyer
A memorial service for Frederick Boyer, 91, of Redford will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, in Covenant Community Church, 15800 Student, Redford.
Mr. Boyer was born March 5, 1911, in Dayton, Ohio, and died Jan. 9, 2003, in Farmington Hills.
He was a graduate of Northwestern High School and worked with Campbell-Ewald until World War II, then for Vickers while taking night classes in engineering.
After the war, he became part owner of Industrial Printers, followed by sales work for Brown & Bigelow.
He retired from the City of Detroit as a purchasing agent for "Total Action Against Poverty," part of Lyndon Johnson's "War on Poverty" in the 1960s.
Mr. Boyer was a member of Westlawn Methodist Church, an active member of Ward Memorial Presbyterian Church in Detroit and recently Covenant Community Church of Redford.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; daughter, Ann (John) LePere of Emerald Isle, N.C.; step-sons, Brian Mann of Denver, Colo. and Bruck Mann of Loveland, Colo.; step-daughter, Marilyn (John) Roughley of Canton; grandsons, David (Janine) LePere and Nathan LePere; and great-grandson, Riley.

Edward P. Shaw

Mr. Shaw was born April 14, 1921, in St. Louis, Mo., and died Jan. 10, 2003, in Redford. He lived in this community 32 years. He worked in the plumbing and heating industry.
Surviving are his children, Lee (Susan) March, Patricia (Raymond) Johnson, Marlene (Kevin) Gallagher and Gary (Kathleen) Shaw; siblings, William Shaw and Mary Shaw Walch; and 11 grandchildren.

Everett C. Anderson

Mr. Anderson was born April 11, 1921, in Depoy, Ky., and died Jan. 10, 2003, in Trenton. He lived in this community since 1961. He was a DOT bus driver.
Surviving are his children, Harold, Warren, Sharon (Randolph) Smith, William, Robin and Kenneth (Kathy); 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren

Arthur Joseph Rocheleau
Services for Arthur Rocheleau, 93, of Redford Township were today, Thursday, Jan. 16, in Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. J.J. Mech.
Mr. Rocheleau was born June 3, 1909, in Duluth, Minn., and died Jan. 13, 2003, in Garden City. He lived in this community since 1960.
Mr. Rocheleau was a draftsman. He was a member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church.
Surviving are his nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Horne-White, Patricia Ann Hendler, John Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Ann Osborne and Charles Hebert.

Michael Thomas McGinn
Services for Michael McGinn, 76, of Redford Township were Jan. 11 in St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
Mr. McGinn was born May 12, 1926, in Detroit, and died Jan. 8, 2003, in Garden City. He was a lawyer.
Surviving are his wife, Bernice; daughter, Susan; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. McGinn was preceded in death by his sister, Mary (Robert) Walters.

Jane Ann Robey
A memorial service for Jane Robey of Westland will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, in Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Road, Farmington.
Miss Robey died Jan. 6 after a long battle with cancer. She was a graduate of (Detroit) Redford High School and earned her teaching degree from Western Michigan University.
Miss Robey worked for South Redford Schools at Thurston High School from 1958 until her retirement in 1994. She taught physical education and swimming. She was active in student activities where she was a class sponsor, the director of the synchronized swimming show and choreographer for many of the school musicals. She frequently served as a chaperone on Thurston sponsored European Band Tours. After retiring, she served for many years as a member of the board for the South Redford Educational Foundation and volunteered her time in many of its fund-raising activities.
Surviving are her twin brother, Jack (Patti) Robey; niece, Dorothy of Fort Walton Beach, Fla; other nieces and nephews, Dawn Wheeler, Rick Robey, Dana Freeman and Derek Robey.
Miss Robey was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Olive Robey.

Calvin Arthur Lepien
Services for Calvin Lepien, 80, of Redford Township were today, Thursday, Jan. 9, in Fisher Funeral Home, with burial at Parkview Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. Mearl Bradley, Michigan State Police Chaplain.
Mr. Lepien was born July 14, 1922, in Ann Arbor, and died Jan. 2, 2002, in Ann Arbor. He was a retired Michigan State Police detective lieutenant. He was a former U.S. Marine Raider and a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his children, Glenn (Toshiko) Lepien, Barbara (Larry) Walton and Della (Steve) Resetar; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Lepien was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, November 1992.
Liny C. Fojas-LaFramboise

Mrs. Fojas-LaFramboise was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Altavas, Philippines, and died Jan. 1, 2003, in Redford Township. She was a chemical engineer. She lived in this community since 1989 and was a member of St. Valentine Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur; siblings, Baby Blancanieves Vidal, Judy Villanueva, Gerry Fojas and Roy Fojas.
Mrs. Fojas-LaFramboise was preceded in death by her brother, Ruperto Fojas, Jr.

Walter E. Kozyra
