MILDRED H. KAISER
Services for Mildred H. Kaiser, 94, of Livonia, formerly of Canton and Detroit, were April 30 from Vermeulen Funeral Home in Westland, with the Rev. Dean Johnson officiating and burial at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit.
Mrs. Kaiser was born July 27, 1907, in Detroit and died April 29 in Livonia.
She was a homemaker. Mrs Kaiser was a member of Lake Pointe Bible Chapel and a 40-year member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Detroit.
She is survived by her daughters, Marlene (David) Albright of Livonia and Dolores Smith of Westland. Preceding her in death were parents, Hugh and Emma Clewett.

JOHN C. WESTERDALE
Memorial services are pending for John C. Westerdale, 89, of Farmington Hills.
Mr. Westerdale was born March 19, 1913 in Chicago and died Saturday, April 27 in Farmington Hills.
He was the founder of General Oil Company, an industrial oil recycling firm based in southeast Michigan and with facilities and offices in Livonia, Redford and Northville.
He is survived by his sons, Timothy and Thomas; sister, Harriet Johnston; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Lynch & Sons Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Cremation rites were accorded.
THOMAS R. MOXIE
Services for Thomas R. Moxie, 81, of Key West, Fla., formerly of Livonia were April 24 in Casterline Funeral Home in Northville, with burial at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
Mr. Moxie was born April 10, 1921 in Detroit and died April 17 at home. He was a retired carpenter. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Northville V.F.W. Post 4012; the American Legion; Moose Lodge; Cooties and the Knights of Pythias.
Surviving are his children, Doug (Carol) Moxie of Redford, Marilyn (Danny) Pugh of Redford and Judy (Chuck) Judd of Whitmore Lake; sister Joan Squires of Taylor; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene (Hentnik) Moxie in 1965.

FRANCIS X. NORTH
Services for Francis X. North, 81 of Livonia were Tuesday, April 23, at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home in Farmington, with the Rev. Tom Belczak officiating and burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mr. North was born May 7, 1920 in Logansport, Ind., and died April 19 at St. Mary Hospital in Livonia. He was a facility manager for an engineering plant.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine (North); sons, Gerald (Joyce) and Donald (Karen); five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Providence Cancer Center.
DORTHA LILLIAN DAVIS
Services for Dortha Davis, 77, of Paragould, Ark., were today, Thursday, April 18, in Santeiu Chapel of John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, with burial at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens in Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. Donald Gregory from Faith Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis was born Dec. 1, 1924, in Garden City, and died April 14, 2002, in Paragould, Ark. She was a sewing machine operator.
Surviving are her son, John (Linda); daughters, Lynda (David) Denhard of Livonia and Vicki Cafini; sister, Jean Nighbert; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
LEO A. PACHOTA
A Mass for Leo Pachota, 84, of Livonia was today, Thursday, April 18, in St. Michael Catholic Church, with burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn.
Mr. Pachota was born in Detroit, and died April 15, 2002, in Livonia. He was an electrician in the automotive field. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are his sons, Joseph (Lana), Paul (Sharon), Patrick (Jean) and William (Cathy); daughter, Cynthia Jennings; sister, Catherine Klenk; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
MELINDA J. CHARNLEY
Services for Melinda Charnley, 59, of Livonia were April 16 in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Mrs. Charnley was born Aug. 28, 1942, in Detroit, and died April 1, 2002, in Livonia. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas; sons, Thomas (Angela) and George (Susan); daughters, Janet (Thomas) Ingersoll and Laura (Larry) Knechtel; sister, Mary Giordano; and five grandchildren.

MAGDALENE PAPOY
Services for Magdalene Papoy, 83, of Livonia were April 17 in Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. Mark Brauer.
Mrs. Papoy was born June 10, 1918, in Alpha, N.J., and died April 14, 2002, in Farmington Hills. She was an assembly line worker.
Surviving are her husband, Peter; daughter, Pamela (Gary) Macioce; and one grandchild.
RICHARD FRENTZ
Services for Richard Frentz, 76, of Dearborn Heights were April 15 in Thayer-Rock Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Larry R. Austin.
Mr. Frentz was born June 19, 1925, in Detroit, and died April 12, 2002, in Dearborn Heights.
Mr. Frentz was a truck driver for Central Transport, retiring in 1984. He was a graduate of Fordson High School. He was a Teamster, a Union Steward, member of Livonia Seniors Group and the Wonderland Mall Walkers.
Mr. Frentz was a veteran, serving in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are his sons, Richard (Charlott) Frentz of Southgate, Ronald (Nancy) Frentz of Dearborn Heights and Russell Frentz of Walled Lake; daughter, Gale Frentz of Livonia; and grandsons, Jason and Jake.
Mr. Frentz was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Helen.

MICHAEL S. SQUARCIA
Services for Michael Squarcia, 68, of Livonia were April 15 in Holy Cross Lutheran Church, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. William C. Lindholm.
Mr. Squarcia was born March 28, 1934, in Detroit, and died April 11, 2002, in Livonia. He was a dental technician.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn; son, Chris (Monica); daughter, Karen (Ken) Straske; sister, Conchetta; and grandchild, Reilly.
Mr. Squarcia was preceded in death by his sister, Marie.
