ANNA MAE MCMAHON
Services for Anna McMahon, 81, of Plymouth were held May 18 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with the Rev. George Charnley officiating. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
Mrs. McMahon was born June 12, 1920 in Detroit and died May 13 in Ann Arbor. She was a former member of Patna Mission Guild, St. Mary of Redford Altar Society and Mothers Guild. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church for 24 years.
She liked to sew and enjoyed listening to audio books and music. Dabbling in real estate and the stock market were her favorite pastimes. She was a registered nurse in a physician's office in Dearborn in the 1940s and later worked at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit and St. Mary Hospital in Livonia. She graduated summa cum laude from St. Cecilia High School in 1937 and from St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing in 1940.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James L. McMahon; son, James W. McMahon; and brother, Hugh McGoldrick.
Survivors include daughter, Julie A. (James) O'Reilly of Beverly Hills; son, Dennis T. McMahon of Dearborn; daughter, Kathleen M. (George) Shea of Plymouth; daughter, M. Eileen (Jay Pease) McMahon; brother, Rev. William J. McGoldrick of Grosse Pointe; grandchildren, Kevin, Dennis, Brian, and Andrew O'Reilly, Michael and Kelly Shea, and Anne and Emily Pease.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice, 2366 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, the American Cancer Society, 18505 W. 12 Mile, Southfield, MI 48076, or Mass offerings.

MARY F. MOSES
Services for Mary Moses, 53, of Canton were held May 14 at Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church with the Rev. William C. Moore officiating. Burial was at Downing Cemetery in Deckerville, Mich.
Mary was born Jan. 7, 1949 in Detroit and died May 11 in Ann Arbor. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include father and mother, William (Bernice) Love of Comstock Park, Mich.; brother, Robert G. (Barbara) Love of Costa Mesa, Michigan.
Mrs. Schock was baptized and confirmed by Rev. Philip Bohn of Concordia Lutheran Church. Throughout several of her high school and college years she taught Sunday School at Concordia. She majored in music at The City College. As a portion of her degree requirements she frequently ushered for numerous concerts of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Orchestra Hall. She taught in many Detroit elementary schools, vocal music classes for over 10 years, and after approximately 25 years of full-time vocal music teaching at McGregor Elementary School in Detroit, she finally retired from the Detroit Public School system. She enjoyed classical music, opera, and attending symphony orchestra concerts, particularly those DSO (Children's Symphony Concerts) which introduced her students to symphonic and classical music.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Herbert E. Schock.
Survivors include son, Dr. Charles C. Schock of Little Rock, Ark.; son, Dr. Norville H. (Shari) Schock of Plymouth; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Elinor Aumann Rau of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Lorenz Lutheran School, 140 Churchgrove, Frankenmuth, MI 48734.

DEBORAH COLEMAN
A memorial service for Deborah Coleman, 45, of Canton, will be held in June. Mrs. Coleman was born Sept. 2, 1956 in Ann Arbor and died May 14 in Superior Township.
She had attended both EMU and NMU. She worked for the Commission on Ministry for the Diocese of Michigan in problem solving in 1957, representing the Ford Steel Division. He retired from the Steel Division at Ford Motor Company in 1964, followed by a successful career as a Manufacturers Representative. He has been a member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church for 50 years. He was a member of the Masonic Order, Iron & Steel Engineers and Ford Trade School Alumni Association. He was fascinated by the internet, which enhanced his ability to track relatives world-wide and share his interest in geneology. He loved any challenge or project.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Weldon Kenny.
Survivors include wife of 62 years, Julia L. Kenny of Plymouth; son, Guy (Susan) Kenny of Plymouth; sister, Genevieve Gerstenberger of Sandusky; granddaughters, Ellen (David) Lukach of Marietta, Ga.,, Julie (Bernie) Johnsen of Denver, Florida; Julia Garris of Dearborn Heights; Al (Shelby) Fernandez of Dearborn; Carolyn (Elek) Tarkanyi of Dearborn Heights; sister, Louise Grant of Northville; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

HELEN B. SMIRNOW
Services for Helen Smirnow, 79, of Northville were held May 22 at the Casterline Funeral Home in Northville with the Rev. John Paton of Northridge Church officiating. Burial was at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
Mrs. Smirnow was born Sept. 29, 1922 in Detroit and died May 17 in Livonia. She lived in Northville since 1968. She was a retired bank teller with NBD Bank. She was a member of Northridge Church. She was an amazing businesswoman. She loved her family very much, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her brother, George.
Survivors include husband, Nicholas Smirnow; daughters, Cheryl (Tony) Facione of Livonia, and Patti (Marvin) Lee of Walled Lake; sons, Randy (Fran) Smirnoff of Highland and Nicholas (Beverly) Smirnow, Jr. of Northville; grandchildren, Melissa, Anthony, Jason, Brian, Jessica, Heather, Andrea, Amy, and Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Alyssa, Grace, Joshua, Levi, Jeremy, Keith Jr., Kyra, Kate, and Kelel.
