JAMES MOODY
Services for James Moody, 73, of Redford will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, in Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Ave., Farmington, with burial at Parkview Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Bousquette of St. James Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Moody was born Dec. 29, 1928, in Ernest, Pa., and died June 6, 2002, in Farmington Hills.
He was a tool and die maker 35 years for Robotron Corp. Previously, he worked as a miner 11 years for R & P Coal Co. in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Moody was a Golden Eagle Member of F.O.E. No. 1468 in Indiana and Pennsylvania. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Beulah; son, James of Livonia; daughter, Cathy (Bill) Balent of Waterford; sisters, Nellie Schloder and Margaret (Paul) Hydock; and five grandchildren.

MARVIN F. MANNING
Services for Marvin Manning, 74, of Redford Township were June 5 in Charles R. Step Funeral Home.
Mr. Manning was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Detroit, and died June 2, 2002, in Farmington Hills. He was a supervisor. He lived in this community many years.
Surviving are his son, Jon Manning; daughter, Sharon Dibert; four grandchildren, Laurie Fox, Karen Porter, Jeffrey Coulter and Cheri Manning; and five great-grandchildren.
JACK W. TURGEON
Services for Jack W. Turgeon, 82, of Redford were Thursday, May 30 from Vermeulen Funeral Home in Plymouth, with the Rev. Leonard Partensky officiating.
Mr. Turgeon was born Oct. 1, 1919 in Regina, Saskatchewan, and died Tuesday, May 28, in Farmington.
He attended McKenzie High School in Detroit. At age 23, he became a U.S. citizen when he joined the U.S. Army, in which he served during World War II as a private first class, light tank crewman and gunner in the 28th Cavalry. He received a good conduct ribbon, victory medal and EAME Theater Ribbon with five bronze stars. He worked for McMullen Tool in Dearborn for 43 years and enjoyed baseball, sports and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Constance; daughter, Diane (Tom) Danek; son Tom (Ann) Turgeon of Troy; and five grandchildren.
Preceding in death were his parents Joseph and Olive Turgeon and sister Madeleine McCullom.
WILLIAM J. SULLIVAN
Services for William Sullivan, 74, of Redford were June 3 in Our Lady of Grace Church, with burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
Mr. Sullivan was born July 21, 1927, in Detroit, and died May 31, 2002, in DMC Nursing Home.
He was a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the United States Marine Corps in World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Norma; children, Catherine (Jack) Leich, Patricia (Christopher) Muliett, Joanne (Paul) Tibedeau, William, Janet (Brian) Muliett and Gerald (Sheryl); brothers, Cornelius III and John; and 14 grandchildren.
Memorial tributes may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church or Hospice of Michigan.

BONNIE F. MICHALAK
Services for Bonnie Michalak, 59, of Redford Township were May 31 in Charles R. Step Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Jerry Slowinski.
Mrs. Michalak was born Oct. 14, 1942, in Detroit, and died May 29, 2002, in Farmington Hills.
She was a homemaker who lived in Redford Township 35 years. She was a member of Redford Eagles.
Surviving are her children, James (Donna), Kristen (Rick) Michalak, David (Mary), Steven (Ronda) and Keera Michalak; one brother; one sister; and 14 grandchildren, Samantha, James, John, Nicholas, Alexander, Helena, Richard, Samantha Jo, Daniel, Joseph, Tiffani, Jake, Tara and Thomas.

REUBEN ALLEN BAMMERT
Services for Reuben Bammert, 71, of Farmington Hills were June 1 in Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, with burial at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia. Officiating was the Rev. Kurt Stutz.
Mr. Bammert was born Sept. 10, 1930, in Allouez, Mich., and died May 29, 2002, in Farmington Hills.
He was employed by Ford Motor Company as a machine repairman, retiring in 1992 after 30 years of service.
Surviving are his son, Glen Bammert; daughter, Gale McIntosh of Redford; brother, Gordon (Rosemarie), William (Nancy), Joseph (Barbara), Kenneth and Richard (Patricia); sisters, Ruth (Kenneth) Karpinen, Dorothy (Clement) Beaudoin, Fay (Waino) Kuitunen and Barbara (Erland) Lahnala; and companion, Alice Mis.
Mr. Bammert was preceded in death by his wife, Jean (1981) and wife, Sandra (1990).

DONALD K. LOVELACE
Services for Donald Lovelace, 42, of Redford Township were May 31 in Verneulen Funeral Home, Westland. Officiating was the Rev. John T. Thorn.
Mr. Lovelace was born Sept. 13, 1959, in Mobile, Ala., and died May 27, 2002, in Garden City.
Surviving are his father, Richard Lovelace and step-mother, Nekita; mother, Catherine Johnson and step-father, Johnnie; siblings, Richard Lovelace, Paul Lovelace, Effie Lovelace, Mary Ann McKinnie, Katherine Lovelace and Christopher Lovelace.
LOLA HENRIETTA MARKOS
Services for Lola Markos, 73, of Redford Township will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, in Charles R. Step Funeral Home, 18425 Beech Daly Road, Redford, with burial at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia. Officiating will be the Rev. V.F. Halboth from Grace Lutheran Church.
Visitation is 2-9 p.m. today, Thursday, in the funeral home.
Mrs. Markos was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Detroit, and died May 20, 2002, in Farmington Hills. She lived in this community 50 years. She was a bartender.
Surviving are her son, Dave (Barb); daughter, Linda Kendrick; sister, Claudine Hosey; six grandchildren, Marie, Tanya, Tiffany, Nichol, David and Christina; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Mikie. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
EDWARD NICPON
Services for Edward Nicpon, 82, of Redford were May 20 in Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, with burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights. Officiating was the Rev. Tom Belczak.
Mr. Nicpon was born Jan. 25, 1920, in Detroit, and died May 16, 2002, in Garden City.
Mr. Nicpon was a tool machinist. He was a veteran, serving in the Navy during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes; daughters, Kathleen (Les) McCabe, Margaret Nicpon and Paulette Nicpon of Redford; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by former son-in-law, Greg Stefanik.
