MARTHA DOROW
Services for Martha Dorow, 93, of Romulus were May 31 in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Westland, with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia. Officiating were the Rev. David Furno and the Rev. Mark Franck.
Mrs. Dorow was born Jan. 20, 1909, and died May 27 in Goodrich, Mich. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Myron (Lucy) Dorow, Alvin (Margaret) Dorow, Lois (Donald) Drayton, Shirley (Charles) LeMay, Barbara (Norman) Richardson and Alan (Kay) Dorow; sister, Esther Nieman; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. There are family members who reside in the Westland community.
Mrs. Dorrow was preceded in death by her husband, George; and sisters, Lydia Bragenzer, Emma Bragenzer and Leona Terry; and brothers, Edward Kessler and Richard Kessler.

GEORGE LEWIS KELLEY JR.
Services for George Kelley Jr., 69, of Westland will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at D-Bar-A Scout Ranch, White Coff Lodge, Metamora, Mich. Officiating will be the Rev. John Patrick Day.
Mr. Kelley was born Aug. 11, 1932, and died June 4 in Westland. He was a machinist.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; son, Joe (Leslie) Caulfield; daughter, Myrtle Kelley, Kitty Kelley, Iva (Harold) Overfield and Yvonna (Joe) Eberhardt; and six grandchildren.

JOHN D. COSGROVE
A funeral Mass for John Cosgrove of Dearborn Heights was June 8 in St. Patrick's Church with burial at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit.
Mr. Cosgrove died June 4 at his home in Dearborn Heights. He was a retired court officer for Westland 18th District Court's Judge Gail McKnight 1985-2000. He worked for Wayne County Juvenile Court 33 years prior to the Westland district court. He was a Korean War veteran.
Mr. Cosgrove was active his entire life in the Irish community, serving most recently as president of the Fraternal Order of United Irishmen, and as a founding member of the Society. He was co-chair of the Corktrown Races. He also served as a delegate to the United Irish Societies.
Surviving are his brother, William Cosgrove, sisters, Mary Sobiechowski and Catherine Santy.

Services for Homer Vaughan, 81, of Westland were June 4 in Uht Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Roy Forsyth.
Mr. Vaughan was born June 4, 1920, and died June 1 in Westland. He was a mixer operator.
Surviving are his wife, Ola; sons, Michael Vaughan and Ricky Vaughan; daughter, Mary (Terry) Magnuson; brothers, Jack, Russell and Duwane; sisters, Barbara, Phyllis and Carolann; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
ODELLA C. AMBLE
Services for Odella Amble, 86, of Westland were May 31 in Vermeulen Funeral Home with burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, West, Westland. Officiating was the Rev. Charles D. Ozment.
Mrs. Amble was born Aug. 21, 1915, in Plymouth, and died May 27 in Westland. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, James Mays Jr.; brother, Raymond Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sisters, Norma Johnson of Ypsilanti and Doris Hix of Byron; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
RICHARD K. KOLNITYS
Services for Richard Kolnitys, 68, of Westland were June 1 in Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church with burial at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights. Officiating was the Rev. Gerard V. Bechard.
Mr. Kolnitys was born Jan. 6, 1934, in Detroit and died May 28 in Ann Arbor. He was a supervisor.
Surviving are his wife, Delphine; children, Karen Ann (Tim) Curtis, Coleen Marie (John) Lasecki, Timothy (Deb), Ann Marie (Chris) McBeth, Richard (Crista) and JoAnn Marie (Tony) Darkangelo; 25 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

AMANDA M. SEYMOUR JUBY
Serevices for former Westland resident Amanda Juby, 25, of Newport News, Va., were June 3 in Beaver Valley United Methodist Church in Naumburg, N.Y., with the Rev. Frances K. Hemstreet officiating. Burial was at Castorland Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Juby was born May 1, 1977, in Livonia and died May 28 at her home in Newport News, Va. She was raised in Westland and moved to Port Leyden in 1994 where she attended South Lewis Central School. She and her husband, Nicholas, moved to Newport News in October 2001. She was employed by 7-Eleven in Newport News.
Surviving are her husband, Nicholas; daughters, Carolynn, Caitlinn and Sara; father, Thomas Seymour of Lowville, N.Y.; brothers, Billy Seymour and Randy Seymour, both of Hohenwald, Tenn.; maternal grandmother, Frances Grimes of Plymouth, paternal grandmother, Erma Seymour of Boonville, N.Y.; two nieces and several cousins.
Mrs. Juby was preceded in death by her mother, Carolynn.

DONALD EDWARD BEDARD
Services for Donald Bedard, 80, of Wayne were June 4 in Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Westland. Officiating was the Rev. Gerard Bechard.
Mr. Bedard was born July 1, 1921, and died May 30 in Superior Township. He was a school principal in the Wayne-Westland school district 1948-81.
Mr. Bedard graduated from Michigan Normal College (Eastern Michigan University) in 1947 with a bachelor's degree in education. In 1949, he received his master of education degree from the University of Michigan.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; children, Judy Bedard from Sydney, Australia, Michael (Bonnie) Bedard, Herbert Bedard and Mary (Chris) Tramp; and two grandsons, Andrew Bedard and Brian Bedard.
Memorial tributes may be made to Ss. Simon and Jude Building Fund, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.

ANNE JANE HARBISON
Services for Anne Harbison, 75, of Canton will be Friday, June 7, in First United Methodist Church of Plymouth with burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, Westland.
Mrs. Harbison was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Akron, Ohio, and died June 3 in Lansing. She was a secretary for Garden City schools. She was a former member of the Wayne-Westland Board of Education.
Surviving are her sons, Mark (Linda), Doug (Debbie), Gordon (Linda) and Victor (Mayte); sisters, Helen White and Della (Bob) Sutherland; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Harbison was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew.
